Fake Louis Vuitton
December 23, 2020

I ordered a Louis Vuitton cross body bag back in October. This would be my first "big" expensive purchase as far as a purse goes. Its been about a month and a half and the purse is totally worn. I am EXTREMELY careful with it and it looks as if I had it for years! I feel super ripped off and embarrassed that I trusted this site and will never EVER again. $800 doesn't come easy and I will definitely take it as a lesson learned but will also warn every and anyone looking to purchase from here for future reference. False advertising will always catch up with you but word of mouth is the best advertising and I will most definitely spread the word.

Horrible call center
December 7, 2020

Horrible customer service and I knowledgeable staff causing issues with clients. Very confrontational instead of making a customer feel like making a bad purchase. Would not recommend

I sent them my purse, it's long been sold, and they refuse to pay me. Their system logs every address you've ever had and they mailed the check to the wrong address. Their customer service rep (Corbin) seems to be a fake alias since he doesn't exists on LinkedIn or in any records. After many back and forth emails they still won't mail me a check siting they are unsure of where I live (even though I've had three bags shipped to me at this address). I'm so disappointed in the way they're handled this matter and the disrespect they have for customers. I will never shop here again or refer any more of my friends. Furthermore I've had to escalate the issue just to get paid for a bag I sent them. It's basically robbery at this point. Do not sell your stuff to them!

Hi BB,

At no point did FASHIONPHILE say that we would not pay you, and that of course is not our intention. When you initially reached out, we advised that the check was mailed to the Seller Address on file. Seller Address information is entered by you, the seller. Our Client Services team provided a resolution to your issue from the first email. They stated that a new check would be issued as soon as you updated your Seller Address in your account. Client Services stated that a fee of $25 would be deducted from the reissued amount due to the stop payment needed on the original check; an exception was made and this fee was waived.

This information was provided to you many times throughout the back-and-forth emails. Client Services stated that once you logged into your FASHIONPHILE account and updated your Seller Address, we would place a stop payment on the original check and reissue a new one. Again, at no point did FASHIONPHILE say that we would not pay you. You continued to tell Client Services to make the Seller Address change for you when they explained that they cannot do this due to the information relating to Seller payments and items. Client Services spoke to you via phone and walked you through how to make these changes on your account. Once the changes were made, our Accounting Department began the stop payment process but was unable to complete this because the check had already been deposited/cashed at the beginning of October 2020. With the check already deposited/cashed, we are unable to reissue a new check.

We sincerely hope you will consider selling with FASHIONPHILE again.

Took bracelet in for a $1000 sell, was told it had to be sent out for further authentication. Waited two weeks, to be told that there was engraving and marks that didn't match Tiffany's product, and had to pay $75 to get it back.

I sent in two items, both of which I truly believed were authentic. One I purchased myself, which I 100% knew was authentic, and one was a gift from a family member, which I also honestly believed was authentic. After the company received my items, they deemed one item as inauthentic. Of course they should not pay me anything for this item, and I should have to pay for the item to be sent back to me if I want it. However, they took SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS out of what they owed me for authentic item as a "Return Fee" for the inauthentic item. Yes, this is indeed hidden within the contract, but seller beware! Definitely do not send in two items at a time!

We really do apologize for any inconvenience. We simply do not take any chances when it comes to authentication. We have the same policy across the board for items that arrive to FASHIONPHILE and don't meet those designer's guidelines proving its authenticity, which is the $75 fee you experienced. The reason being that we quoted that item and paid you to ship it to us. We also pay to return the item and for the box it goes in. In house authentication is not cheap, but we offer it free for every single authentic item we get in the door.

I am highly dissatisfied with the buying policies and processes. My bag is an authentic Gucci, that I shipped for around $50, to then be told it is not real and have to pay $75. That is ridiculous. Firstly, if you are buying something from me you should pay for shipping and secondly, you can not just then charge a fee cause you deem it inauthentic when it is not. This is a scam. I am highly disappointed with your process and would not be recommending this site to anyone.

I used to sell bags to Fashionphile. They never gave what I would call a completely fair price, but it was acceptable, and with the free shipping and convenience, I did this often. I would always see when I consigned bags to them for say $400, they would then turn around and sell for $700, which seemed suspect, but I kept selling them bags. Fast forward to 2020, their seller quotes are laughable, and so outrageously low that I will never buy or sell to Fashionphile again. Shame on them.

Hey Stephanie, we apologize that you were disappointed with your recent quote. Not every item retains its value the same way, which may be why you experienced a difference in quoting. FASHIONPHILE buyers conduct research and utilize proprietary tools to determine pricing. Data used to determine pricing includes:
Recent sales of comparable items
Availability and demand
Retail value
Condition and rarity of the item
Our historic sales
Current fashion trends used to inform the offers developed by our team
**Original retail price may or may not be a factor, depending on the brand and style.

We hope you'll consider selling with us again!

Restocking fee
August 27, 2020

Like many of you here I have been with this company for years, I purchased and I also returned what I didn't like or later found the same item cheaper elsewhere. As today, August 27th 2020, I received email from them saying whole bunch Thank you crap and the end they informed me that they start to charge 10% restocking fee on all returns once the return rate is reaching 70% and up, ok I am close! So If I buy a $3000 bag and need to return it, I will be charged $300, which is way more than both way of shipping cost they paid, not even talk about how much they already have made from me by buying so many bags. I think what s fair would be to ask me paying return shipping fee instead of 10%. Totally scam, that s not how one should do business, not in these days. Besides I have read online from PurseForum that Fashionphile sold FAKE bags, totally wrong in many ways.

I came here with a large bag of designer purses to sell. To start off I felt rushed from the minute I sat down. The woman grabbed the bag of my items saying she would be back. I didn't know what was going on and why my bags were being taken to a private room. I felt uneasy about the whole situation. We are talking about thousands and thousands of dollars worth of bags just being snatched out of my hands. After waiting for 30 min she came out with a printout of what they would pay for each bag. I almost laughed out loud. My bags btw were all in flawless condition and only a few years old. They are a bunch of low balling crooks. I did end up selling two. One small Gucci and a Chanel. What really surprised me is that she didn't even ask me for the authenticity card for the Chanel which leads me to believe they are ripping others off. I mean wouldn't that be your first question if you were buying a used Chanel? All and all it was an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. I'm glad Chanel, Gucci, and LV have always treated me with wonderful customer service. I would never shop here nor would I ever sell here again. It's too bad because I could have referred a ton of friends here had I had a better experience. So basically they lost a lot of what could have been a lot of business. To the team at fashionphile, if you'd like the authenticity card feel free to reach out to me and I'll sell it to you. As you can see from my photos I still have the card.

I purchased a LV piano bag. Didn't like it, but it was my fault- I didn't look at the pics close enough! I returned my order (although it did take a long time in transit due to COVID-19), they advised me that it may take up to 10 business days to process my return since they were extremely short staffed. I emailed them and they responded same day. I had my full refund in my bank account within 2 business days of them receiving my purse. I plan to buy another one, just be sure to look closely at the images because everything is there.

I did a fair amount of business with this company years ago, and recently bought and sold a few items. Longtime customer. Not only are they offering far less than they used to for items they purchase, but my recent purchase experience left me feeling completely cheated. I purchased an item through their layaway program (as I have done in the past), paid it off but did not care for it when it arrived. Photos appear to have enhanced the size of the actual bracelet so I returned. They deducted a 10% Cancel Reserve fee even though I did not cancel the layaway but paid it in full. A total rip off scam. I was aware that if I cancelled the layaway before paying, I would be charged, but I completed the purchase. This is the ultimate rip off scam, and they have permanently lost me as a customer, buying and selling. Tried to call and recording said wait time was five minutes, after fifteen I left a call back number but never received even the courtesy of a return call hours later. Horrific customer service all the way around. Never again, lesson learned

Love This Site
April 22, 2020

I have purchased 3 beautiful bags from Fashionphile, and I currently have one on reserve. All of my bags were purchased at way below retail, and they're all in pristine condition. I cannot say enough positive things about this site. All of my bags came with super fast, free and easy shipping. I would definitely recommend them to any and everyone.

I bought the wrong size LV bag, returned it. Was refunded immediately. Bought another bag, it was suppose to be "very good," but when I received it, it was excellent. It was in a great shape. Love the bag. Took it to Neiman Marcus, they said it was real. Buying another bag soon. Please don't hesitate to buy from this company.

I placed order through my direct debit bank card, but they noticed me that they cannot verify my order and cancelled my order. Yes, they refunded to me but I have to pay $92.6 for O/S fee or transaction fee. I called them why cancel my order, but they couldn't give me reasonable reason, just say we cannot verify your order. When I checked out, only have 2 options to make payment, 1, Paypal, 2, bank card, there is no any notice to inform me about verify order. I don't think Fashionphile is formal. They don't have standard, and they decide to sell to you or not. Won't buy anything from them. Charged me $92.6 for nothing.

I just sold 750 dollars worth of stuff to them but never received my money! First of all they keep records of accounts that are old when you sell things to them they send the money to old accounts then don't really care of you revived your money or not. They also have a feature on their site where a customer can change their account at any time but that features can pretty much not be there because these people still will sent the money to account from years ago! They messed up on my account sent it to a closed account and all they will say is sorry then ignore your emails and still keep your things! I have sold stuff before where it went smoothly but if for some reason they mess up you will get ignored and lose your money and precious things! DO NOT SELL to them or be very care ful and keep
All emails and proof of everything. You can also work with attorney general if you ever get scammed by them and report to bbb! They already have quiet a few open cases you can read for your self there! Just be careful with this company

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SELLERS!
I have been dealing with FASHIONPHILE on an issue for a week now. I sent an item for sale and they didn't accept it because it didn't meet their standards. Which is fine. BUT they then took a week to send it back and then made delivery restrictions which would delay getting my product back further.

What they forgot was that there is a person on the other side. They didn't consider that I needed the item back as soon as possible so that I could sell it on eBay or another way. Obviously I needed the money because I wouldn't have sent it to them to buy in the first place.

I received generic answers and no customer service. All I received were hurdles And excuses rather than find a solution. I was not being unrealistic. I was just asking for faster return and they refused saying they couldn't ask for faster delivery from UPS. I was willing to pay for the service. The item would be delivered to the same address, same recipient and also get a signature. Nothing would change other than the fact that I would have gotten some customer service by allowing for faster delivery.

My experience was horrible. They said they wanted to help but failed to follow up and actually do something about it. They were actually saying they wouldn't and not couldn't.

I've written my experience here to WARN sellers. The deal is one sided and if you need some customer service you won't get it. It's all about them. It should be about customer service and the customer because they need us to be in business. Maybe they will change their tone when they pay attention to customers when we remind them that there are two sides. Without us and lots of comments - negative feedback - we will go elsewhere. There are lots of alternatives. Don't they want us to do business with them and not others?

I suppose time will tell. If every unhappy person has the ability to influence tens of people then we can mane a difference.

It's amazing reading here that there are more negative comments than positive. What does that say about them?

I purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from Fashionphile and a few months later they offered via email to buy it back. I took them up on the offer, sent my bag back which was received, and received a check on October 14,2019 for $906.50. I deposited the check on October 21,2019 but the check was returned on October 25,2019. My bank explained that the check was returned by the Federal Reserve as a duplicate check. I spoke with several people at Fashionphile and they spoke with their accounting department who in turn spoke with their bank, JP Morgan. Their bank rep and accounting department claim that the money has left their account yet I never received it. Their bank doesn't have the funds and my bank doesn't have the funds. I provided them with a copy of the cancelled check showing that my bank returned the funds. I also provided them with a screenshot of my account showing I don't have the funds. Fashionphile either wrote a duplicate check to someone else or the check was fraudulent. Fashionphile must have insurance or can dispute the charge with their bank and reissue my check but they haven't helped me. I am out the LV bag as well as $906.50. In essence, they stole my bag due to a "bank error."
