Farfetch acts as a middle man between the customer and other boutiques around the world, so that is why the product quality and service may vary considerably. I would recommend reading the reviews of the specific boutique you'd be ordering from through Farfetch (https://www.farfetch.com/reviews) before making a judgement call on whether to order!
Please, avoid this company like a plague. They have the worst customer service ever. They simply don't care about gaining new or retaining loyal customers. They spend tons of money on google adds and SEO so whenever you are interested in something their site pops up right away. On the other end, they don't provide an assisting - by any stretch of this meaning - customer support. I had an issue with one of their promotions, gave a call to customer service, was dragged on the line for about an hour and was instructed to send emails with proofs, to be eventually told that they couldn't offer me a code for the promised 10% off. This was ridiculous as any online business can do a little favor and stand for their promises by generating a unique code for the specific customer. I know it from actually working in the industry in the past. As a person with professional experience in online business, I know when online retailers tell you the truth and when they lie. FARFETCH.COM IS A SCAM. Yes, big time liars. AVOID.

They have a very pretty site and everything, but the products aren't what they tell you. I ordered there on Black Friday and received my order a few days ago. I spotted pretty quickly that even though it was well made. It's a fake. I sent them a mail 2 days later (2 days ago by now) about this and that I want to return the product, but they didn't reply to my request.
I want to have my money back and the correct address I can get the return to before the 2 week period ends but they don't answer that quickly at all.

The logistic in Farfetch.com overall impression was good; The customer service staffs are helpful for all my returns. It was my first time to buy things in Farfetch.com, I bought 7 pairs of Chie Mihara shoes from 5 different boutiques but turned out all of them are just highly imitated products from China. It is difficult to tell if you do not have the original one on hand to compare. Luckily one of my friend told me that there have many many imitated branded shoes which made in China now selling in Europe and i immediately ordered an original one form Chiestore.com to compare then i discovered all of them are fake. It was a nightmare because the price of the imitated goods actually just similar with original one. Luckily the customer service staffs helped me to return the shoes and chased back the money from those boutiques.

They changed pricing policy and instead of showing prices in Euro as it was before, are now showing in my local currency and with a reiddiculus convertion fee which is almost 10% worse than if convertion to Euro would be done by my bank which means that for items worth 1000 Euro in my basket I have to pay the equivalent of 1100 Euro in my currency (!).
Guess what, even when all items in my basket come from Italy, France and Germany (so the prices are natively in Euro) and my card is in Euro, I still can not pay in Euro, they won't let changing currency. Isn't this a discrimination? They found a new way to make extra profit, converting currencies.
It's better to shop directly from boutiques.

I literally do not know why there are so many bad reviews! Me and my family have been shopping on Farfetch.com for 3 years now and only had the most positive experiences Items were received quickly, packaged beautifully and we love the free shipping and returns (especially the free DHL pickup!) so its super convenient if something doesn't work for you. Their pricing is amazing and the selection is hard to compete with! I never shop in my local department stores anymore (I live near NYC) and literally only shop Farfetch. I definitely can vouch for their amazing service and 100% customer satisfaction and I shop ALOT. And I only buy very high designer items.

I bought a dress online. So far so good. Never got an email of confirmation of the purchase. After a week and 3 calls from me to farfech customer service, I learned that they can't fulfil the order. So took them a week and an extensive follow up from me to them to realize they can't fulfill the order. In my last call to the Customer Service (Connie is the name of the lady I was talking to) - all I got from her was "I DON'T KNOW" - All I got from the Customer Service in regards my issue of having bought and paid for a dress that was never going to be deliver was - I DON'T KNOW. Didn't offer any solution, didn't even let me speak, she will continue speak over me. As I couldn't speak and Connie wouldn't listen, I asked to speak with the manager which after 15min of waiting didn't even attend my call -apparently it was busy with another call. Finally I suggested To Connie -once she finally let me talk- to go a size up on the dress or check the same dress in different colour. She helped with that request. The situation now is: I have to wait another 24h to see if the third party boutique can fulfill the new order. I am guessing that if I don't hear back within 24h I would have to chase farfech AGAIN... is this for real? I am starting to think that the website is a total scam.

I bought a coat online two weeks ago with my credit card but after few days they sent me an email that the coat's price was wrongly marked so they cannot send me the item due to wrong marked price thus they offered a 20% discount.
Then I tried to bargain since the payment was made so the contract should be formed when they accepted that payment. However they no longer replied for two weeks. This is the worst online shopping website I have ever been to.

I bought a down jacket and the size guide in the website was indicating 48European belongs to US M size. But when I received the item there was written 48 belongs to Size S. I said them they accepted that they are wrong amd they told they will fix the wrong info in the website. Then they proposed me to exchange, I said OK, but when I sent item back for exchange they wrote me that the bigger size is expensive and I need to pay additional fee for that.
This is a not serious and non competent company.
They even didnt take resposibility for their fault.

The site tells a bunch of lies about when your order is going to be shipped. The 1-2 processing time is total Bs and false advertising. They hold your money and theyre basically a middle man i will never shop here again and i would never recommend them to anybody.

Hey Everyone, stay away from these guys. I purchased a Silvano Sasettin shoe that was described as Shell Cordovan on their website, which turned out to be false. When I called Farfetch, they promised me it was Cordovan. After delivery, I thought something was off, so I contacted Silvano Sasetti and they admitted it was not Cordovan. However, both Farfetch and Silvano Sasetti claim they cannot control the vendor's descriptions on the website. Of course, no refund despite the inaccuracy.

Well for starters I live in India, We have Diesel outlets here but I saw the jeans going for a huge discount on the website. I immediately ordered them, The jeans were being sent from Portugal. I placed the order on 13th August, The jeans went to Netherlands and then came to India on 15th August itself and well due to Customs clearance it took additional two days but I got my Jeans on 17th August. I verified the jeans with Certilogo for authenticity, scanned the QR code that Diesel jeans come with. The jeans were authentic, I also went to the Diesel Jeans boutique here, they verified it's authenticity too. I'm really happy with my shopping experience. Don't buy from them! This is a scam page! I've tried to buy something from them and never managed to do so. Firstly, they always give me an error page saying the payment didn't go thru. Secondly, when their customer service tried to help, my orders went thru, but after a few days they say payment didn't go thru even though money is withdrawn from my credit card. They say they need to verify me by Calling me. For what? How insulting! I use my credit card online and in physical stores everywhere without any problem!
I will never buy from them! Imagine when you think you have found a bargain, you place on order, you get order confirmation, money is withdrawn and a few days after they claim order is cancelled because they couldn't verify my card.

Answer: In my experience, as far as genuine items go, yes. My recommendation to you is, research the store you're buying from, because your experience can be 0 or 5 stars depending who you're buying from. I bought a new Valentino bag and received an used one from a store called Gente Roma. Farfetch did nothing other than contact the store and politely reply back to me that there was nothing they could do about it! They made the sale, they're making money off me, off course they should have done something. Nope. I could return the bag, which was an option regardless. Gente Roma was so disonest about the condition of the bag, I was afraid they would blame me for sending back a used bag and only give me a patial refund. I felt my safest option was to keep the bag. On the other hand, when I bought a pair of Valentino shoes from Exelsior Milano my experience was flawless. From the fast shipping, to the packaging to shoes that had never been opened. Moral to the story: if Farfetch doesn't have to get involved, you're golden. If not, don't bother with them. Call the Pope or your credit card and dispute your charges instead. You'll have a better chance of getting something.
