Our gokart lasted 1 month then stopped charging. It seems like an easy fix…but because they have the actual worst customer service, we don't know how to fix it. Like all the previous reviews…we too do not get called back. Do not buy from this company. They are Terrible. Still waiting on my call back after emailing multiple times and calling for the last 3 days.
For two years I've been emailing brad first was I received the kart on the on a slab 7ft long with no instructions was told look at the picture with 2 bags of nuts and bolts of all different sizes and this was during COVID well when I got it together it would not run said it was the pitcock had to pay for that sent the wrong one got it to run for 15 min before it stopped running got with brad take it to a shop told them it would be awhile got it in the carburetor was bad they will pay for 2hrs of labor I can get a new carburetor 100 and something plus shipping told them got the same one for 75 sent the bill and carburetor they said it took to long didn't reimburse me and keep the carburetor still not running and nobody will touch this piece of junk
Got a 250cc Pantera atv it need a new carburetor and a crank case vent hose. Jeff after about the second time I ask where my replacement parts were stopped responding to emails. This was bought for my son for his birthday. $2,500 new atv that doesn't run. This seller is scamming people. Do Not Buy from Familygokarts
I am so disappointed in this company willing to fix an issue that is a manufacturing issue. The weight limit was never exceeded, our 7 year old only daughter weighs 67 pounds. This was a birthday gift that our entire family pitched into to purchase for her and she barley got to enjoy it for 24 days, the corner of the frame had snapped.
The front light came broken, fell off the first time she rode it.
Not to mention the "surprise $140 extra fee for delivery"" added fee to get this delivered after we paid for express shipping, we also paid for them to unload it and my husband had to meet him down the street at a dollar general and put it in our vehicle and unload it him self since they ONLY deliver on 18wheelers and they were not able to come down our road or driveway (it's is paved 2 lane road). That little fact alone should be mentioned on your website.
They offered a reimbursement of $30 to fix the frame, NO welder will fix this for $30 or less. Especially not one that will provide an invoice.
We will never purchase another product from this company. So disappointed and left a little girl so upset she is not able to use her birthday present, let alone a waste of almost $1500. We work extremely hard, for money to be wasted in this economy.
It took them 7 weeks to send the Certificates of Origin for for 2 scooters that I had purchased.
Unless you are prepared to wait this long I wouldn't order any motosports vehicles from them.
They do not issue the certificates themselves like other sellers but have to request it from the companies they buy from, then they sit and wait for it to arrive at their office and then mail them out at their leisure. Horrible service. I will never buy from them again.
3 days ago I received the go-kart a Trailmaster 200xrs from FamilyGokarts. There were no assembly instructions. Spent time on the website and watching videos. They have no instructions about the 200xrs just similar go-karts. I called twice the 2 women over the phone are rude and I was not rude with them. Their support is email only and they don't get back to you for hours. After some time charging the battery next day it does not start. Spent the next 2 days emailing back and forth still nothing. Don't buy from here! Had to call a local shop and having them to fix the issue. Lesson learned don't buy!
I've experienced the same issues as in other reviews about this company, rude staff, additional shipping charges after purchase. Beware of the warranty scam. I purchased a Trailmaster TM 29 dirt bike for my grandson as a Christmas gift 12/25/2022. Also purchased the extended warranty or as they call it Service Package Premium for $79.99. Now I understand that these dirt bikes aren't as high quality as the big-name brands, so when a bolt broke no problem trip to the hardware store and replace with a grade 8 bolt, Kick stand spring brakes trip to the hardware store and replace with a heavier spring, nuts & bolts fall off trip to hardware store get replacements. But when the exhaust pipe broke completely off where it connects to the engine and the kick start lever won't open up, I called FamilyGoKarts for warranty replacements. Durning back and forth emails with Jeff (the support guy) I sent photos of the broken bolt and kick stand spring. After 2 weeks of what appears to be stalling from FamilyGoKarts I received an email on Friday afternoon stating none these parts would be covered warranty, and all had broken due to the way the bike was being ridden. Not really sure what they mean by this, the bike had only been in service for 2 months, ridden off road only in my yard and around the neighborhood on paved roads. I called trying to speak to Jeff, but apparently you can't get past the very rude lady that answers the phone to speak to anyone. While speaking to this lady she informed me that they do not cover the warranty, the manufacturer is who covers the warranty and who I should contact. I understand this but as a dealer wouldn't you be handling the warranty? And why are you selling me an extended warranty to 12 months? She would not give me a way to contact the manufacturer. To sum it up, you buy a new product from FamilyGoKarts with a 6-month warranty, buy the extended warranty to 12 months but you have no warranty at all and if you ride it you're riding it wrong. This is a very shady company to deal with. If I could have left negative stars, I'd give them a negative 5-star rating.
Holy guacamole my son's 48v ATV is awesome. He is LOVING it. We take it to the local parks and he is burning around on it in our neighbourhood. It is legit FAST. He is 5 and already learning so much about manoeuvring a vehicle and road rules etc. He is very respectful when around others and wears his helmet.
I ordered my wife a scooter for Mother's day. I order it in pink due to the fact that she is a survivor of breast cancer. They told me that it would be about a month. I called and they told me to send an email. I email and they said they are waiting for the shipmen to come in. Still nothing. I requested a refund, no reply. Keep in mind this is now October 22nd. There customer servie is HORRIBLE!
Paid for order and called to confirm order per their policy. I was told one item was not in stock and told that I would also be charged more shipping fees when I had already paid. I was also told it would be weeks to be shipped out and none of this was said when I paid! Plus the lady was rude and rushing me in the end she hung up on me! Save the hassle and go elsewhere!
Don't waste your time with this company. They are nice to you when you are placing your order. They do a great job making you believe they stand by their product but once you take delivery they are rude to you if you have an issue. We order both of our sons Tao 500 watt electric atv's. One came damaged and one was perfect. I did exactly as they say to do and write it on the shipping receipt. I called the next day and was told everything had to be done via email. I've waited weeks now for a response and they got back to me saying it would cost me more money for the broken parts to be sent to me. I have an atv that won't work and they won't make right on it. These people are the worst type of people that you can deal with. One issue was that the chain guard support snapped off on shipment. Which is a huge safety issue but they don't care that a 5 year will be riding it and not having th chain guard could be a huge safety issue. Whatever you don't buy from them. I would give them zero stars if I could. I'm glad I used a credit card cause it's now up to my credit card company to fight them.

We purchased a go cart for our son for Christmas. The sales team was excellent to work with and shipping went flawless. The sales team sold us a warranty that was worth the money. Everything arrived as expected and the go cart operated great, our we could have been happier. Then it broke. On April 17,2022 we submitted a warranty claim. It has been down hill sense. It is now June 20th and we don't have replacement parts. On May 20th I was told 7 to 10 business days and warranty didn't cover shipping. I paid for shipping and was told I would get a tracking number. Never did. The experience started out great but has turned into a giant crap show. They don't communicate, when you call you are told you have to email. No response to emails. If you truly believe in customer service as much as you say you would back that instead of just selling as much as can regardless of you ability to support it. Based on our experience during the warranty claim we are looking else where for our utv.
The absolute worst customer service I have dealt with. Jeff Backer was nice until he got payment, then turned into an absolute jerk. Didn't have any product after payment went through. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Bought 2 Vitacci 125 ATV's for my boys for Christmas. Staff was friendly and helpful during purchase, but like everyone else's review, unresponsive after that. The ATV's are not bad for the price, but these are BUDGET toys... Good enough for a kid to learn on, but I doubt these will last the test of time. The quality of the product was decent for a purchase price under $3,000 for 2 quads, but I wouldn't trust this brand for heavy duty use. My kids are small and the load is light. My order came a day late and I ended up assembling the 2nd one on Christmas Eve only to find out that the 16mm fine thread castle nut that secures the rear wheel was missing. I ordered a 4 wheeler, not a 3 wheeler. I spent my whole holiday running around looking for a replacement, no luck. I ended up pulling the rear hub nut off of my yamaha raptor and it worked. Got the ATV's ready 15 minutes before the boys got home. Now I need a replacement for my own quad. Half of the tires do not hold air and I have to air them up every time we ride. One bike began running very poorly and won't idle. Nothing ruins your day like good money spent on something that doesn't run and a kid whining about it. The company was slow to respond and never acted on my requests for the missing parts nor offered any advice on the motor problem. Ally was the one who responded to my service requests and I have received no help at all. I will not do business with this company again nor order any more crap from China.
I purchased go kart for Granddaughter in July of 2021, received damaged noted on BOL. Not a big deal I thought boy was I wrong! Vapor return from crankcase to gas tank broken off, took pictures sent several times no response, called several times also no response emailed many times no response also found out seat beat was defective (would not lock) neither a big deal just send me the parts and I will fix. They wanted me to pay for shipping the parts NO Way their defective and or broken in shipment. I finally disputed charge on CC, CC company gave credit then because I had not sent Kart back reversed charges, sent back Kart and FamilyGoKarts sent refund check for Kart minus shipping and restocking fees ~$832. FGK drags the process out so long that the CC won't give credit back. Family GoKarts is the worst company I have EVER done business with. NEVER EVER do business with them. Total time July of 2021 received partial refund Feb 2,2022. They received the Kart on 1/7/22 did not get partial refund until about 2/7/22 over a month late and I had to make a call to get it. The WORST COMPANY EVER!
Family go kart is helping fulfill a wish and a dream of a young man. My grandson has MLD and will be losing the use of his legs. I called family go kart and Jeff helped me out with a full size kart that I believe we can outfit for handicapped person. Will follow up later. Many thanks.
I bought a Tao G 200 Quad as a Christmas gift. I understand that this is from China, and is not a high quality product, but it is worse then I could of ever imagined. When it was shipped my rim was bent and my battery cable did not reach the terminal. I had both issues fixed myself. After a few hours of use the Exhaust manifold cracked and the unit is starting to rust. This unit is absolute garbage. Every time I call the company they make you email them, and then few days later the owner Jeff Backer will E-mail you back saying he needs a picture or a Vin number. My Quad has been down for weeks and I have not made any progress. You cannot speak with anyone in the Technical dept. Apparently the owner is the technician. This seems like a large company due to the website but in reality I think their are two employees and it is ran out of their garage. They are very quick to pick up the phone when you are ordering a product then the customer service ends there. This is by far the worst company that I have ever delt with. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!
I bought a 50cc scooter from them in October of 2021. When the delivery driver came, he said he didn't want to unload it because the shipping container was so damaged. After taking a look, I decided I didn't want to mess with accepting the delivery and possibly having to return it for damages. I asked for a refund in November and am still waiting to receive my money back. This is HORRIBLE customer service.
Buy something and first said it was in stock and then it wasn't after I paid. Then called and they tried to upsell me. I asked for a refund and told me it will be 7-14 biz days. I called paypal and now going to be 10 days. Be aware!

My item shipped in pieces when I discussed assembly with Jay. I called the company once the go- kart arrived in pieces and it's been a nightmare. Please save yourself the hassle. They are rude after your payment has been received. Just DONT shop here.
