This APP Blows NUTS

I'm 22 mins from DownTown Chicago I'm 3 mins from the Illinois Border. My town borders Illinois. If I head north out of my town 5 mins I'm in the south side of Chicago around 100th and LSD. This app says because I'm in Indiana I can't use the app. They are absolutely stupid/don't waste your time on this garbage...

Everything sounds great just 1 year after I signed up with them they will increase my insurance almost $250 ADDITIONAL PER MONTH! So thats where the big lie hide. Yes for 1 year it was great but after that you ended payment for the car $440 and then $320 for "insurance" what a ripoff. And you lose your $1800! Really? DONT DO IT! Almost $10K a year for a car that you have to returned and dont have even the freedom to drive more than 10K miles a year! RIPOFF!"

Cannot shop for Uber car

I have been trying to shop for a uber car for weeks & the app is keep giving me the message "oops something went wrong". Fair cannot seem to get it right. It's a headache.

So first off I tried to get a challenger everything was good but then car was sold. At least I was notified 10 hours before pick up. Next I went for a 2016 Ford Fusion eco boost. I can't fit a car seat in my mustang so here's the alternative. So everything is good. I contact dealer and arrange pick up time it's early then the guy works but he says he will be there early. I go to dealership and sign papers in 5 minutes ready to go. But a tire needs air in tire. So now I drive off on my 2 hour drive back home. About 30 miles in check engine light comes on. Another 50 miles tire pressure low. Come on ford. So I get brand new tires and check the code for the check engine light it's a bad cat. My dad changed cell phone is providers so I had to get my own. Problem is they can't change numbers on fair app. My dad used my upgrade and the owes 900 on an iPhone so I can't keep number. I have for about 8-9 months not been able to log on. I do my regular maintenance but need help with check engine light. I have emailed customer service and 10-15 times with no response also when I call they say they can't change the number. So what do I do? Besides that I got a car and it's amazing has all of the extras with some power.

This is truly AMAZING.

I dropped my car off with a smile today guy goes you ready to look at something new I told him I will never allow a car to trap me again then he asked what are you going to get I told him check out Fair.com he almost fell down and couldn't believe it either I think they wanted to shoot me because I told 3 customers on the floor and all three walked out of the dealership wanting to research Fair.com. I have leased a Mercedes for the last 10 years this last lease made me realize how much I hated being stuck in a car I didn't want anymore. I've been doing a lot of traveling lately using Airbnb which is also amazing I spent about 6 months on the road and I'm thinking to myself I can't believe I'm paying for a car that I'm not driving. Now I'm simplifying my life and getting a functional practical car and just giving it back when I'm out of the country. I hope fair destroys these leasing companies for holding us hostage all these years. The party is over for those old school companies fair understands modern society that people don't wanna be obliged to things. Good luck Fair i think your company was a serious game changer

Lawndale Station

I'll start by saying that I prefer the Fair/Uber plan to Lyft's Express Drive. When I first learned about the plan last June excellent service at Fair. The guys at the Lawndale station are like ninjas (shoutout to Dave and Ron!) and get you in your car and on the road in minutes. And that's how it was for a while. Until of course it wasn't. The weekly rate started creeping up the number of rides required per week went up even the deposit went up. As of today they want a $200 deposit plus $241 for the week and you have to do 125 rides (up from 90!) to offset just $195 of the cost of the car. That's almost $450 upfront just to get on the road and start earning. With the other guys you're in a car and on the road with just the deposit. Like I said I prefer Fair

Worst experience ever. Bank charged twice for cars. $800 Not refunded for over a month. Gone to their dealership 3 times and zero cars there. Still haven't resolved or helped getting me a car. The part that is very bad and/or illegal is they charge you immediately for a weekly rental and you believe you have a reservation and you actually do not. False advertising. The app says 1-6 cars available and their dealership has zero. The multiple managers on the phone and in person have done nothing to help. All I want is a car so I can work again for Uber... which is all they promised after reserving a car and still 6 weeks later have not done. I except a real resolution... not the run around. Filed a complaint with better business bureau to make them and everyone else aware of how unbelievably stressful and frustrating this company and experience has been. The Only nice thing they did was say my first week will be free of charge and sent a $100 gift card. But I'm still CARLESS! And this is completely UNFAIR to do to me and many customers who rely on and need a car for work and to survive in Los Angeles. I still have hope that Fair will fix this problem... by sending me a car... to my home... for all the stress and headaches... instead of pretending us customers have a reservation when In fact they don't have cars... that's the right thing to do now... the fair thing!

I love Fair. Leasing a car with them couldn't be easier but their customer service always leaves me wondering if they're trained at all. I wanted to get a referral code from them the other day and called the customer service. It turned out they sent me one last year and it expired. A representative I was talking to said he was not sure if they could send another one as it was up to the marketing team and he didn't really know how they work or how to talk to them (?). He also said he'd try to reach out to another department that might help but again he was not sure if they'd even answer. I'm just surprised that people working for the same company have such bad communication that one department can just simply ignore other department's inquiry. Or this particular rep didn't know much and didn't know who to ask if he needed additional information. It'd be great if the customer service was a bit more knowledgeable or at least knew who to ask and was willing to go an extra mile for their clients. So far most interactions with them end up with me needing to go that extra mile. Btw

Fair'd a Kia Optima. Took me 7 minutes in the app and 15 minutes at the dealership. Perfect. Monthly payments come out and I am notified a few days before. Don't let the other reviews stop you.
