My 14 year old has just had 49 pounds taken out of her account when she hasn't Evan purchased anything from them. She just visited the Web site. All she had was 50pounds birthday money in her account and now just 1 pound because of this stupid 49pounds monthly charge!? I will be contacting them as soon as she's home from her friends to get refunded as its discracefull. How are you FABLETICS aloud to get away with this!?. Surely not!? Unterly discusting ripping off all the innocent people and it's still happening.
Easy to order and prompt dispatch. The VIP conditions re payment and debiting your account are made very clear. Paid for express delivery but the item got no further than the courier. Customer service (in the Philippines) on the 2 occasions I used them, was polite and all had good English. After a week from my first call - having been promised I would hear back in 48 hours - I phoned again to be told the item was now out of stock - I cancelled my order and withdrew from the VIP scheme. I will NOT use this company again.
I ordered two leggings from Fabletics and they arrived last month. They were of great quality. This morning when I checked my bank account, I had been charged an extra 49 quid for a 'VIP Membership' fee which I have had no memory of signing up to. Turns out "When you chose to take advantage of the discounted price upon checking out your first order, you were activating the VIP membership of your account." This is absolutely ridiculous. I did not get that £49 back and I'm SO upset about this.
I ordered from here over a year ago. I bought some basic black leggings as part as the first order deal which was £24. It gives you the chance to sign up to VIP memebership so you can get discounts with a fee. However you get the opportunity to skip a month so they don't take the fee away, however if you forget to skip a month they will take the fee. But the clothes I got are of great quality, they still look brand new. I recommend this company!
I saw fabletics advertised on FB and liked the look of the clothes and so ordered two pairs of discount leggings. When they arrived I was really pleased with the quality but then realised that I'd been signed up to the VIP club which I hadn't realised I'd actually agreed to! Ok so I read the T&C about having to skip a month before the 5th day of that particular month or get billed for £44.00! And thought this won't work for me... I have a hectic lifestyle and am not always up to date with my emails. I kept it for another month and ordered two tops, again brilliant quality, what I don't understand is the harsh agreement policy of taking large amounts of cash from your account unless you have time on your hands to cancel it each month in the small window of opportunity... I have therefore today cancelled my VIP membership now I own a couple of outfits, as let's face it, how many work out clothes do you actually need? I feel the company has made a real mistake in doing this as I would have remained a customer and carried on using their site as and when I needed to... I hate feeling tied down to any agreement and hate to feel like I'm being ripped off... a shame as the products themselves are without a doubt exceptional quality... I shall be looking elsewhere however in the future for further purchases... what a shame...
The outfits themselves are great- I ordered 2 outfits and both were good quality and were delivered quickly.
However, MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT GET VIP. I was very unhappy to find out that the VIP option automatically takes £44 from your bank account especially as I didn't realise that I had signed up for the VIP option- it automatically pops up for you to fill out your information when you make a purchase.
When I saw the money had been taken from my bank account I called (on a paid number) asking to cancel this, but was informed that I could only cancel my membership but then couldn't use the £44 until I re-instated the membership. I also was told I was not able to get a refund as it is in the terms on conditions that money will be taken automatically, however this is NOT CLEAR.
I will certainly not be using this company again due the lack of communication and lack of refund. It is such a shame because the sportswear itself is great and if it wasn't for this issue with money been taken automatically I would have bought further items.
Made a purchase as i was "deliberately" mislead by the advert to buy "2 leggings for Gbp. 25.00". What they don't state clearly is that once you place the order you are automatically enrolled in their VIP membership programme!
Stay away as their customer service follows tactic answers that don't lead anywhere.
Purchased some leggings (which I love, even though they took ages to arrive) for £15. Just randomly had £44 debited from my account and have recorded the phone call so if I don't get the refund then I will be livid. This company is the biggest scam operating in plain sight - I never signed anything that would have agreed to the £44 'membership' payment yet they have taken it anyway.
Don't buy products with this company. They are a bunch of crooks. Once you make your first payment they automatically make you a VIP member, which means that if you don't have time to read their terms and conditions or their emails (which, let's face it, is most of us partly because normally when you buy something off the Internet you don't get conned into this money laundering), you end up paying them and extra £44 a month every month until you realise they have ripped you off. Frankly you can find better quality clothes at better prices with companies who behave in an ethical manner. Do not make a purchase with fabletics!
Worst experience I have ever had! This is just a Scam!
They cancelled my order 4 times and I had to keep chasing them! Eventually after several frustrating calls and emails with people who do not know what they are doing, I asked for my money back which was meant to be back into my account within 10 days later another month passed and still nothing!
They just take your money and cause endless amounts of frustration!
My daughter purchased an item in April this year for £17.95. Having checked over my bank statements yesterday I have just seen that £44 has been taken for 4 months! A whopping total of £176! It's disgusting. My daughter said she had no idea that she was committing to anything at all - she thought she was just buying her item and had she known she would never have bought anything. I obviously telephoned and cancelled the membership this morning. However I would like my £176 refunding so come on Fabletics do the honourable thing. I'm a single parent and don't have his sort of money to "give away to a greedy company". The order number was *******. You will be able to trace me from that order and I look forward to receiving my refund in full. Others beware!
Clicked an add on Facebook for Fabletics, found 2 yoga pants that looked nice on the website and ordered them for 29 euros. All good. Everything normal. Did this before - you order, receive the package and keep the products if you like them or send them back. In this case, the leggings didn't really fit as I expected and, therefore, I sent them back. Now imagine how you would feel if, instead of seeing your money back into your account, you see that 50 more euros are withdrawn. Looking up closely I found out that, unknowingly, given the wording and position, I agreed to a membership (paying them 50 eu every month). Why would you agree in full awareness to a membership for ordering clothes every month eludes me. Would be as if the clothes are good for one use and then you need to replace them constantly. At this point, they are not willing to give my 80 eu back.
I have ordered an outfit for 27 pounds almost 2 months ago, and for three times in a row, they never found my address whereas they have "confirmed it" many times. It doesn't come from MyHermes, but from Fabletics who doesn't do their job, and let you think everything is fine. This is so unprofessional.
I am a student and recently bought myself two sets of workout gear for my course at college. Little did I know that two weeks later nearly £50 was taken out of my bank leaving me with NOTHING. No money for food... I was told on live chat that the problem would be resolved, my membership cancelled and my money returned. They said after 4 days the money would have cleared and would be in my bank. I never received this money. I'm still £44 short. Such a shame as the products are ok.
I made a purchase six months ago, failing to notice that it was in fact well disguised subscription service. I failed to realise that they have taken six payments of £44 from my PayPal account, money that I simply can't afford to give away for no goods or service in return. I'll now try to claim my money back, but this company really need to examine their unethical practices.
Just found out that I was enrolled in some sort of VIP membership with Fabletics. The company took 44 pounds out of my account without any of my authorisation or agreement. They obviously did it illegally keeping details of my card while I ordered two pairs of leggings last months for 24 pounds from them. To say the truth the quality of their products is far from what I expected! Though i kept the leggings... as did not bother to return. How come you can be enrolled into the membership online and to cancel it you have to call or post them letters as online or e-mail services are not available with regards to this matter... What a shame involving such an iconic actress name as Kate Hudson into all this mess... Will try to get into contact by phone with this company and get my membership cancelled... Will never be dealing with them again... If my money is not returned I think I will be looking into taking legal actions against Fabletics... Please do not order from them anything!

Total Scam! They lure you in with an attractive offer and tell you to sign up for a "VIP Membership" in order to get the deal. However when accepting terms and conditions in small print, you are unaware that you have just agreed to pay 49 pounds a month in order to get these deals. Only individuals who read every single terms and conditions they accept will be able to escape this scam. Of which I know not a single individual who does so! This company should be reported and told to CLEARLY make their customers aware of the deal they are signing up to. I have since filed a complaint with trading standards as i believe this is outrageous and unethical.
If I could I'd rate them as minus 5 as they have conned me out of £44, claiming I'd agreed to a monthly membership fee. I read the details carefully when I placed my first discounted order and it was not clear anywhere that I would be charged monthly as a so called member.
The customer service rep was insistent that he could only refund my money that was taken from my credit credit with no authorisation nor warning, if I remained a member.
Why would anyone want to be a member of a fitness clothing brand at the cost of £44 a month? £524 a year... thats an insane concept!
I've cancelled this ridiculous membership but they are refusing to give me my money back.
What a scam.
I made a purchase of 2 leggings more than a year ago, i realised yesterday through my banking app that the is a company that is taking £44 from my account every month.
Turns out it is Fabletics and no they have not send me leggings worth a years supply they just take my money. I was on the phone with them for close to an hour yesterday demanding an explanation and a full refund. This cannot be legal, I saw an advert for a sale but turns out it is clearly just a way to scam people.
£44 was taken out of my bank account as stated it would on the site but i have had no credits / credit option to use on purchasing an outfit?
Also i sent back some items that poorly fitted over a month ago and no refund / credits for the site have been given?
Could someone please explain why this is happening?
Also where is this so called skip a month option located on the site?
