I got exactly the frame and lens options I wanted for a price that was in line with other online retailers and cheaper than my local optical shop. My glasses took about six weeks to arrive, which was slightly longer than I'm accustomed to from a brick and mortar store, but not so much that I was surprised. My prescription is very high and I also require progressives, so I'm accustomed to a considerable lagtime before my glasses arrive.
Eyeglasses.com is one of the only online glasses retailers that carries my prescription and provided the option for 1.74 high-index lenses -- necessary to avoid the "coke bottle" look in a prescription as high as mine. I was able to utilize a sales and coupon code to bring down the price. The glasses I received have the correct prescription in the correct frame, and I am very happy with them. I am recommending eyeglasses.com to all of my friends with higher prescriptions.
I ordered, paying extra for Rush service. They charged me right away but a month later still not shipped. Glasses weren't in stock. When were they going to tell me? I did get a refund quickly once I called but why charge if you don't have item in stock.
The website was easy to navigate and easy to use. The delivery could have been faster but the shipping updates were appreciated. In general, it was a very good purchasing experience for me.
Maybe, once upon a time, EG.Com was reputable--but, as with all good things, they passed;
Screwed up my order--twice, charged me--twice, then refused to honor a doctor's remake--twice.

Couldn't have been an easier order - simple single vision lenses & frame. I'm absolutely furious... my son, who's currently sitting his exams has been without glasses and hasn't been able to see properly for well over a month! I ordered these glasses well over a month ago now, and they STILL can't even provide an ETA - apparently the glasses haven't even been dispatched yet! This is an utter disgrace. Just incompetence and 'don't care/no customer service' hiding behind a Covid-19 excuse. For heaven's sake do not deal with this company. Their 'customer service' is the worst I've ever encountered in my entire life - all I get is sarcasm and a 'couldn't care less attitude'. Do yourself a favor and do not deal with is firm.
I ordered my glasses 11 days ago. I figured the glasses would be received within a couple of days. So when I emailed the company, I couldn't believe that I was told that it would take "months". Attached is a picture of their reply. I'm thinking I would get my glasses in "days" and they take "months". Wow!
There is a discrepancy between the "Trial policy" described by your customer service representatives and your written return policy. It should be easy enough to add verbiage to your written statement regarding 30 days from date of shipment to clarify a grace period up to the date the last pair ship associated with the one order. I'd still like to try the Dolomiti but I didn't want to be on the hook for the $500 amount of the other frames on that order.

My wife ordered an frame but never received it. Called the company no answer. E-mailed company no response. Our credit card was charged. Contacted credit card company and was credited charge by credit card. Credit card is investigating this fraudulent company.
The glasses were everything we expected and more. A big thank you to Eyeglasses.com for helping us throughout this process. Will be ordering again soon.
I sent in a high-quality Ray Ban frame to have the sunglass lenses replaced with my new prescription. The service was on time and the lens quality was fine. But the plastic frames with the new lenses in it were badly bent, so that the fit was way too loose. I called Eyeglasses.com customer service and was put on a long hold; then their robovoice offered a call back. However, never got the call back.
I ordered glasses on May 2,2024. It did not mention on the website that the glasses were backordered. I received an email on May 6 stating that these were backordered until May 24. I did not hear anything so I called in to get an update. I spoke to VEM And she said it might be another three weeks she's not sure. I asked to speak to a manager manager. She was extremely rude and told me one wasn't available. She asked me numerous times if I wanted her to process a refund and I stated numerous times no I would like to know when I will receive my glasses. She hung up on me when she was supposed to transfer me to the voicemail. I tried calling back and was on hold for a very long time. I emailed for a manager to call me and it stated they were processing my request. I just received an email stating that they processed my refund of $263.971. I never asked for a refund and 2. This is $100 less than what the order was. They just robbed me of $100 and nobody can seem to help me. I never asked for a refund and what you just did is highly illegal. Do not order from them as they are a scam.
I ordered the silver finish, but I got black instead. Didn't want to return them a second time since I wouldn't be refunded for the lenses. I guess I will have to look like Harry Potter...
I sent in frames (rimless) for lens replacement. I never heard from them and after several tries, I was told the frames were broken and they tried to get me to buy new frames from them. The frames were in perfect condition when they were sent. This company claims they were broken. And claims they look over every frame before working on them. The frames came back with both temples removed and one lens out. This is despicable and they should be shut down. They lied to BBB and I can assure you that NOBODY would have sent in frames in the condition that they were returned to me in. I have a very small face and they destroyed a $250 pair of frames beyond belief!
I have had the lens replaced once before with another company online and they came back in perfect condition!
Everything worked perfectly, just had a misunderstanding with shipping to Puerto Rico. It should be clarify that shipping vouchers do not apply to Puerto Rico

The first time I received my glasses the prescription lenses were completely wrong. The prescription was too strong and I couldn't wear them. I sent them back it took almost a week for them to receive them. But once they did receive them the turnaround time was really quick the second time. And I got them about 4 days after my glasses were received by eyeglasses.com. The second time I received them the prescription lenses were correct. However I need to take them somewhere to have the earpieces adjusted because they're uncomfortable when they sit on my ears and are rubbing and causing irritation.
This had to be the absolute WORST online purchasing experience I've ever had. Before I even ordered my first pair of prescription sunglasses I contacted customer support and asked if i could have gradient lenses instead of full tint, which I was told 'yes'. The glasses came with full tint. I contacted them and they said to return them and reorder, which I did but then was told I had to pick a different frame. Which was an additional cost! Again I asked if I could get gradient lenses and was again told yes. When the 2nd pair came they came with full tint. I returned them and asked for a full refund and they said 'no' only store credit. I then sat on the phone for over 45 minutes waiting to speak with a manager who told me it was up to the Returns department who would email a final decision.
When I asked for a phone # for that department I was told there wasn't a direct number that call communications was gone via email. What a SCAM company!
Only retailer that carries the frame I wanted. Sold at a sales price and delivered SO quickly and packaged in an indestructible manner. What's no to love.
Answer: If you have a significant correction like me their quality is poor! Go somewhere you can trust will have quality control and customer service to help if your lenses don't actually correct your vision.
