I love this site. However there were MAJOR issues with the website in their Black Friday bogo sale and I planned on getting 6 pairs of glasses. I had to order the next day and I only got three pair. I was very disappointed. Other than that the glasses are great. I now have about 6 pair from this site.
I like to keep one or two spares around... well because life happens & sometimes glasses break. The prices on the website are always so reasonable that I can order more than one pair & I can save mine & my family's prescriptions on there for future orders. They always send out update emails on the progress of the order so you're completely informed. Shipping is always so fast & your new glasses arrive looking even prettier than you thought they'd look.

I've been attempting to make my purchase for the past few days and it continued to state the website was down for maintenance and the vision was getting a little blurry. The items in my shopping cart were continuously deleted making this order very lengthy and having to wait a few days to order the glasses my daughter wanted. I cannot review about the glasses yet but the website is complicated to filter to your liking without being overwhelmed. Yesterday for CyberMonday their site was down all day. I called to order, and they were also having similar problems. I didn't like how they did have their csr overseas. I do not judge for some businesses and what type of service they are providing over the phone, but when it comes to technical support, it frustrates me because the communication barrier makes it very hard and longer than anyone wants to be on the phone for simple problems. Maybe like chatting would work better.
I tried for over 2 hours trying to check out but the website kept going in and out. The buy one get one pair of glasses was also unfortunate because they said BOGO Pair! When in reality it was only the frames and not the lenses that I need so I can see farther than two feet infront of my face. I just hope the glasses are worth it.

I saw this website from Instagram and decided to try to get a new pair because my glasses recently broke. It happened to be Cyber Monday and were doing a buy one get one free deal with free shipping. I though "Perfect!" IT TOOK SO LONG FOR ME TO CHECK OUT THAT THE PROMO CODE EXPIRED. I was pissed. Also, I wish you could buy the frames without paying 7 dollars for lenses that I'm just going to have replaced with my prescription lenses. The cite also wouldn't let me check out with different shipping and billing addresses even though that is completely common and AN OPTION so that's stupid.
When I edited the lenses because the site didnt record the first time, it added the glasses with the lenses and kept the frames in checkout and I had two pairs and site would not delete! Very frustrating experience and took hours to get a pair of glasses. The first time was easy.

I've ordered from EyeBuyDirect before and I loved my sunglasses! I ordered another pair of sunglasses and a pair of regular glasses because of their BOGO advertisement for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. However, the website was extremely slow and it required me to refresh the site multiple times. I will give the benefit of the doubt because it was Black Friday and there were a lot of people trying to order glasses before the offer ended.
I had the hardest time ordering from this website! Every time you add something to your cart, want to view a product or submitting something, there is an error page!

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
