I love the affordable glasses I get from this site also the selection is awesome. I have a ten year old boy who loses glasses and thanks to this site I am able to keep enough pairs on hand so he can still complete homework and school work they fit great and he is excited to be able to see he also loves the way they fit.

Selection was okay, once narrowed down by frame size and shape - Unfortunately EyeBuyDirect does not seem to have asian fit or universal fit frames, which greatly limits the selection for me. Could stand to be more clear about lens materials and publish Abbe values without my having to contact customer service. Looking forward to receiving the glasses, and hope they are a good fit.

I had bought a pair of infinity focus single vision lens glasses from Sterling Optical, while they ordered a pair of bifocals for me. Once I got the bifocals I decided I really did miss my progressives so I thought I'd try EBD and get them there.
I really do like the glasses, look and feel. The lens progression is laid out well. The reading portion is large and useful. The flow between read/mid range/infinity is very natural. There is only one slight problem. The infinity focus is a little bit off. When I put on my single vision lens infinity focus Sterling Optical and then the EBD it was clear that the single vision lens is just more crisp. I see this the most in the edges of straight lines on objects and letters. The EBD isn't horrible by any stretch, but it is disappointing.
I called them and customer service was great. They ordered me another pair to be made. Unfortunately these are exactly the same. The glasses are still useful and if I only want to carry one pair I'll carry them. However I do wish that these glasses had a higher quality lens, or better manufacturing process or whatever is needed to make sure they deliver a lens that actually meets the prescription.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
