I was sucked in to eyebuydirect by a facebook ad, and then again on recommendation of a friend. I have purchased four pairs in the past few years; I really appreciate the amazing coupons. All of the glasses I have received are wonderful and I love being able to change my look so inexpensively.
The first time i purchase from them they made sure every i order was correct. I thove how accurate they were.
No many choices but prices are good.The checkout for the prescription lens could be more intuitive. Suggestions for selections an explanations are confusing. Simplify the process by adding additional steps is not a detriment.
I tried to get a back up pair and purchase my lenses and bogo was promoted but didn't let me get the back up pair using it. Don't advertise if it doesn't work.

When you lead with "Buy one, get one free glasses" kinda sounds like you mean two pairs of glasses. But when you checkout the code doesn't remove the lower price pair. So you check out the terms and conditions and that's where you bury the lenses not included. Want to do bogo frames, cool just say so, don't mislead people.
That aside, the shopping process was pretty easy and the try on feature was pretty neat. Website is much better than mobile version. Looking forward to receiving glasses, I hope they worked as promised.

I am a repeat customer and I love how my glasses perscrption is saved so I only have to update it if it has changed. The lenses are comfortable and there are so many different styles to pick from.
Thanks to FBI spying on me complaining about glasses I saw the ad on my instagram. I gave it a chance and boy am I happy I did. I got my first two pairs Chillax and Cosmo before my new pairs now are Bright Side (for outside activities) and Wistful (for everyday use.) I'm super excited for my new pair!

Have had difficulties returning when things are on sale. I just wanted the price I paid to be reimbursed, but that was not the case. I still shop here, though, knowing it's cheap and I like a certain frame - but I will never stray from that frame again.

When looking at eyeglass options at brick and mortar stores, I was shocked at their prices, plus the extra cost for lenses and other ad-ons. I decided to give this site a glance and was amazed by the huge selection of frames, many very stylish. The ease of adding a prescription and ad-ons is key for me. The final price was even better than I thought'. Very happy!
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call.
