Bought a pair of sunglasses in november of 2020. (Win (Clear Blue)). I guess they use a tint? It's bubbling 6 months after purchase. Low quality. Disappointed. Won't order again.
The birds and I bought several, which are indigenous to the area in which I live are larger than life painted metal sculptures. I had purchased one at a local gift store which had them way overpriced. I found them at www.lightbulbs.com and they were reasonably priced. The ordering process was smooth. The problem I had was that it took them a month to ship the glasses. I contacted them 1-2x a week after going 2 weeks without an update. I ordered on Feb 5th and they said they shipped on the 25th. It wasn't until I called and a backup pair was ordered for free that they actually shipped the original pair from the warehouse that night. This was around the 1st week of March.
During this time, I opened a case with USPS to see where the original pair was, which they told me they never received even though EyeBuy told me two times that USPS had them. When the backup pair was ordered, I realized USPS was telling the truth. I ended up receiving both orders around the same time (the backup pair was sent through UPS) and I shipped the backup pair back (they offered to let me keep the 2nd pair for half off but I wasn't doing that). The sad thing about all of this is that my sister ordered her pair on Feb 12th, contacted them the same time I did, and receive her pair that next week. I didn't get mine until March 12th.
The back and forth about my glasses' location was tiring. I'm glad I got them now. If I were to order from here again, I would pay for the UPS shipping in hopes that EyeBuy will ship on time since originally, they said my glasses were ready on the week of Feb 25th. This is not everyone's story and others have had success with the site and USPS shipping. This is what happened to me and hopefully, it won't happen again. If I decide to use them again, especially after this.

If you wear progressive lenses do not order glasses from Eyebuydirect. I ordered the Someday frames with the premium progressive lenses. The lenses were so distorted I was unable to see anything in focus. I received a replacement pair. The second pair were somewhat better but still unable to focus on objects and my depth perception off. I almost fell when going down a step. After this occurrence I wanted a refund but told I could only get a replacement pair. The same exact pair would cost an additional $20. I have opted not to get a replacement pair since there are no guarantees that this pair would be any better and for an additional cost. I took my glasses to an eyeglass place to check what might be wrong with the lenses. Since the frames were perfect circles, the lenses were placed on the incorrect axis, resulting in the distortion. Consequently I am out $140 and I am currently wearing my old glasses with an outdated prescription. Eyebuydirect does not offer a refund, only replacement, even though you are unable to properly wear their product. Buyer Beware!

I had ordered two pairs of glasses on February 1st, to replace a broken pair of glasses. I would be happy with waiting even the maximum 14 days for my order, since I was excited for the new pair coming in, and didn't mind wearing the broken pair for a little while longer.
What I didn't expect was tracking the package coming from Austin to my hometown distribution center, only to be sent back to Austin to an unknown Post office, only to sit there for 7 days. Now it sits at a distribution center in Austin, 19 days after the order. There hasn't been any correspondence whether there was a mistake, and clearly there isn't any intention to honor the delivery times they stated on the website.
If you want a good replacement for your glasses, either intend to wait a whole month with eye buy direct, or order warby parker which at least has local stores and better quality and delivery.

Our 365-Day Product Guarantee means Customers are eligible for a one-time replacement pair within 12 months. A one-time replacement pair will be only issued if there are clear defects in material and workmanship.

This is whole thing is frustrating. All that I ever wanted them to do is honor their own policy and repair the glasses. At no point did I ask for different or new frames.
Either they cannot comprehend simple English sentences, or they are purposely being obtuse in order to avoid honoring their own policy.
I initially received my glasses with the wrong prescription. I took my new glasses to my eye doctor and he confirmed that the prescription was not correct. I called the customer service number and they confirmed that the prescription was wrong. They shipped new glasses. Did not like the fact how long it took for me to get my replacements, plus the time spent going to my eye doctor. Overall very satisfied with my new glasses and would definitely recommend to anyone needing glasses.
This website has beautiful dresses that are very long - too long for most women with no petite sizes. I have ordered four and none were practical for alteration - all had to be returned. The website advertises "easy returns." That is highly misleading. When I tried to return the dresses, it took three phone calls and one email (never returned) before I received an email telling me I had to take photos of the dress with the tags on, write all the return information on the outside of the box, pay for the return ($37.00), email photos of the dress, the outside of the return box, the proof of mailing to couturecandy. Then I received notification that I would be charged the original shipping fee plus a handling charge, and they have stated they would have to inspect the dress before they would credit the return. I realize the dress was expensive but this is not an easy return - very misleading, particularly the fees charged and time involved in returning the product, while my credit card remains charged! I have asked what those fees are but have not received a response. I also asked if the company has petite sizes - answer no. I am 5'5" and normally do not wear petite sizes. These dresses seem designed for a person who is 5'9" or taller and would be wearing 3" heels. I cannot recommend this website at all. For years I've ordered from more reputable dept. stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bloomingdales, Nordstroms. They always have easy returns, with a website to print a return label, a small fee for the return and no other hassles. Some sell Terani. Dillards sells Terani and they are hassle free. In addition just leaving this review was an exercise in futility. I had to find the order confirmation, photograph it, make a JPEG, enlarge it to more than 300 pixels before it would accept it and then attach it as proof of purchase before I could complete this review. Forget couture candy. It is nothing but trouble. Go to a reputable department store and leave this company behind.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
