EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Everything was easy to order and got them in a relatively good amount of time. Had to have them adjusted but otherwise love them!
This is the third time buying this item. Love, love them! They fit perfectly and get compliments all the time!
Too confusing too many choices Prices quite reasonable
Love virtual try on. Choice options, arrived in a reasonable time. Cute frames. Wish lens quality was a little higher
I got these safety glasses for work and recreation. I really like them And will probably order more for my on duty firefighter work.
Selecting, ordering, and delivery of new glasses couldn't have been easier. The frames received were exactly what I expected and the lens were perfect. Could not have been happier.
Love Eyebuydirect. I've been buying my glasses from them for the last 8 years, and they've never failed me.
Eyebuydirect is such a smooth seamless service the lenses are a little big than I'm used to but for the price I've bought three pairs for what I pay for one in a store. So happy with all my purchases
Have always gotten good prescription glasses at a good price.
My experience has been good so far. The glasses came in like 4 days, I really appreciate the service
My experience was professional handle and product good
Fast and easy. Good value for the money. Handles complicated prescriptions well.
Ut was easy to place the order and I received it very fast and was communicated on each step progressing of work. The glasses made perfectly and very beautiful product. Thank you
We should be able to upload the prescription, as regular person doesn't know the specifications of a prescription
Great options. Quality of the glasses are great for the price. Shipping was quick as well.
It was great that I could try on each pair virtually. The prescription sunglasses turned out just how I had imagined.
The glasses are great, my prescription is exact, and you can't beat the price. I've had a single rx pair of Raybans for years that cost me $200+ and these get the same job done for under $100 (for 2 pairs!)
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
