I paid extra for 2-day shipping, but it took four days for me to receive my glasses. When I tried to get the extra back that I paid for 2-day shipping, I was told the best they could do was give me 15% off my next order. I had to file a dispute through PayPal in order to get me $19 back. I feel that the site has false advertising when it says, "2-day shipping" or "order today for delivery tomorrow." So, don't bother paying extra.
I don't care about named branded frames and all of that I just needed glasses and these are amazing. What I paid for 2 pair of transition thin lenses is less than what I would have to pay with insurance for 1 pair of the cheapest frames and lenses.
It's was smooth for the most part, all of the issues I had were not from the website but with my Rx. It is to strong so no matter where I go they are not able to fill it quickly so other than that mo issues so far I will keep track of shipping if It takes long then the allotted time I will be upset and change my review check back I. 7to 14 days
It was a decent shopping experience. However I do not like how when I set filters it does not work. Such as when I select male for gender, it still includes women's sunglasses. I do like the selection of styles. Lastly, from the time I ordered to the time I recieved my sunglasses it was 2 weeks. My eyeglasses were purchased the same day from another company and received in 4 days.
My experience was fine. I thought I would receive the glasses sooner, but overall it was fine. However, my glasses are too big for me and I can't see out of my progressive lenses. I will order another pair at another time, but I have requested a return for now.
The ordering and selection process was simple and easy to do. My only issue is that the reading part of the lens is not where I am able to read adequately.

I got my updated prescription not too long ago and wanted to get some new glasses that actually fit my face, fit my style and for the right price. I was told to try EyeBuyDirect and I wasn't disappointed. I came across the heart eye frames and just had for get them. When I received my order, out of the box I thought they were going to be small. However as soon as I tried them on, I don't even want to use my contacts, I love these glasses so much.

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
