EyeBuyDirect.com sells prescription eyeglasses and frames, as well as sunglasses.
The company has garnered a solid reputation for providing affordable, quality eyewear, with many customers praising the extensive selection and effective virtual try-on feature. Satisfaction with product quality is prevalent, particularly for prescription glasses, which are often noted as a cost-effective alternative to traditional retailers. However, concerns regarding slow shipping times and excessive communication, particularly following orders, have been highlighted as significant drawbacks. While most customers express overall satisfaction, the inconsistency in delivery and customer service experiences indicates room for improvement in operational efficiency and support responsiveness.

Wish there were more accessories but I really like the glasses options. I bought three different frames and I love all of them. Super cool, cute and stylish. And good quality! The metal frames are sleek and strong I don't think my glasses will be breaking any time soon.
Finding glasses you like is hard enough as it is. Finding them online however is a whole other experience. The delivery time was slow and not quick and easy to return as they claim to be. I took my chances because the website said they won't "ask questions," however for me to return my glasses, I needed to call or email someone. They asked a million questions on why I was returning and continued to offer me discounts to get me to replace my pair after numerous refusals. I will be sticking to in person purchases.
It was easy to fill out the eye forms and picking out frames and making sure the prescription was accurate. Any questions that i did have were answered right away. I did have a little trouble understanding what the sales rep was saying
The glasses were very pretty & I loved the look of them. Price was great but I my glasses were fine looking far away but reading was not good & I tried for a couple of days. I chose a bigger frame than I usually get & wondered if that made a difference.
Fast and easy. Great price for quality products. No complaints whatsoever.
The process was easy and when I made a stupid mistake with my purchase the person on chat was extremely helpful to correct my mistake.
I came back because of the excellent service I received the first purchase
I loved the frames I got and everything but something was off with the lenses. I could see with them so well and then after a couple days of wear they made my head dizzy and lightheaded. I think my PD was off plus a new prescription I received from my eye doctor that just made it really bad.
Great experience, great customer service with good communication. Will be back.
Love this process always great prices and good selection! It was super easy and that's what I love about eyebuydirect! And the service is great!
Very solid frame and very clear crystals. Could not ask for a better pair of glasses.
Great value. Needed new glasses and it was easy to choose and get prescription uploaded
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
