I found ExpressVPN through vpnexpress.net and have been using them for about 7 months. They have added new servers since I started, and I always get good speeds. Their customer service is also fast and helpful.
Enrolled for 1 month. Month 2 I got charged again. Contacted support and complained. They said they'd refund that second month and cancel subscription I never signed up for. Month 3 no refund but was charged again. Month 4 charged again. Wondering when to investigate a class action lawsuit. Very similar scam to Godaddy
This company stole $99.95 USD from me without my consent through Paypal for a service I haven't used in 2 years. Paypal sided with them and put in the transaction anyway despite my contacting ExpressVPN to cancel my account. ExpressVPN promised to refund me the money and said they did, but they didn't. So I made a complaint to Paypal again and I have to keep contacting them and receive more lies and excuses from them not to pay me back because I "put in another dispute". I have to take legal action. AVOID!
This company is a scam.
They charged my credit card without authorization. Told me my card had been "phished" and they would issue an immediate refund.
I then asked them for the email address and ip address of the person that made the charge. No response. After 5 request with NO response, they finally responded and now say, they have no record of a charge to me at all. Interesting how before i requested some basic info that any reputable site would have, they found me and where issuing a full refund, only to then not be able to find me...
By mistake I renewed my subscription for 1 year period and was charged $99.-. After 3 weeks their Customer service chat told me it is already refunded to my account but it is not in my account and they want you to believe them, no receipt, no refund number, nothing.
I am not renewing my account with them. I thought they were serious bussiness. WATCH IT!
I cannot access channels in Australia due to their fault. They say they will fix it yet still over many months nothing. I follow it up and still they always repeat that they will try to fix it.
Hopeless. Be aware!
I got ExpressVPN few years ago with a good deal from this service, and I'm really satisfied with it. It's a nice working VPN with large numbers of available IP address. Price is not the best, but it worth it.
As an American in China I was constantly frustrated by the great fire wall for even the most innocuous sites like Yahoo. When I started looking for a VPN, I found I could not even access the 5 or 6 top rated ones so I just kept searching. After trying two other companies with problematic download issues, I came across ExpressVPN and no more problems. Download and set up was fast and simple, they have more than enough servers to carry the load. Even when they have switched me to a different server, the transition is seamless, I couldn't tell the server had been switched until I was logging off their connection. Customer Service response must be the fastest in the business. I cannot recommend this VPN highly enough.
That sh*t just doesn't work, not in and not out of China. In China it keeps reloading and out of China there is never connection when using this bad example of a product! In my honest opinion, Waste Of Your Money!
Once I tried to install their buggy software it then bricked my router. Trying to get support to help and I guess I hurt their feelings because they literally BLOCKED me from chat.
So to review...
1. THEIR software bricked my router
2. Tried to get support because they bricked my router
3. Blocked because I wasn't "pleasant" after repeatedly trying to tell them that I could NOT get on the internet... the "support" kept asking me to try a different server to see if I could connect.
It's a little hard to try a server at all when you have NO connection to the internet.
I generally judge a company on when things go BAD not when the go WELL.
In this case... they failed so miserably that I sincerely hope they go out of business.
Now I'm off to buy a new router so I'm out however much that costs?
I contacted ExpressVPN customer service because it blocked and diverted to voicemail many perfectly legitimate incoming local phone calls. Also, their software prevented me from emailing large attachments like short videos (everything worked with Exprss VPN disabled).
They sent me some canned "fixes" that were totally wrong; for example, they listed a sequence of steps i was to follow in their own software's setup, except that such sequences were simply not available. Time and again. AS a minimum they should know what their own software allows a user to do.
When I asked them to call me for a person-to-person tech support, to get some usable fixes to the problem, they flatly refused and I have their emails that say so.
I therefore give them "one star" for their having no viable customer service and for being aloof and unwilling (technically uninformed and inept)) to answer basic questions correctly.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS VPN.
Thank you ExpressVPN for giving me the best VPN services I ever had. I tried several services in the past and I never really felt secure. I also tried a paid service from another VPN provider just last year only to find out that there's still some sort of leakage. Been using ExpressVPN for two months now and I never had any similar problems. Thank you so much because I finally found the best service for me.
I bought ExpressVPN to unblock Snapchat in school, becasue a friend told me VPNs are great for this. I only bought the 1 month plan to try it out. So far its been fast and very reliable. Will get 12month plan once I have the dollars.
I really like this product, I was skeptical at first but this company is legit. I had some issues with my account cause I made a mistake with the username, but they made it super easy to fix. They have LIVE CHAT with a HUMAN BEING pretty much 24/7, so you get top notch service all the time. It's really great. I wish every business had this. So tired of having to read "FAQs" that don't answer my question. LIVE CHAT is so much better! Also, they make it easy to start and stop your membership at anytime. You just toggle it on or off in settings. Super easy. Reminds me of AMAZON PRIME. Highly recommend this service.
Torrenting and many other website are blocked in my country. I was very keen to know how I can unblock all these websites on my PC. It took 2 days to find the reliable and secure VPN to all these stuff, and I found Expressvpn on most secure vpn. Com and all the described features on that website were same when I came accross to use its services. Great services
The link I clicked said "free trial" but they still charged me. I had a hard time getting my money back.
Despite being within the "30 day free trial period" three email requests to remove a 1-yr subscription charge to our credit card were ignored. Out of frustration I contacted our credit card folks and requested a "chargeback" against ExpressVPN and also sent a 4th email to ExpressVPN this one with the header "Without Prejudice". Six hours later the charge was refunded.
Sept. 24 Update: Despite ExpressVPN's claim to offer a 30-day Moneyback Policy they have just charged our credit card for a full year. We've notified our card company & I just sent the following message to ExpressVPN via their website:

Despite several messages to ExpressVPN advising you that I would not be installing/using Express VPN and instructing you to cancel the subscription and any bills you have charged an entire year's service to our credit card. I have filed a formal complaint with our credit card company and have requested that they issue a "chargeback" against ExpressVPN."
RANT OF THE WEEK in response to a Customer Satisfaction re: issues with trying to install ExpressVPN on our AppleTV:
Absolutely NO USEFUL support provided. When we could not get ExpressVPN to work on our AppleTV 4 I tried contacting support only to discover that all I could do is send an email enquiry which would be answered sometime in the future hardly convenient or helpful. Your online tutorials are confusing & sometimes contradictory and provided no meaningful help. Eventually after several emails I was told to contact your Live Chat at the provided link except there was no link in the email. When I pointed that out in yet another email I was told that if I couldn't see the link then all the Chat lines were full and to send an enquiry by email. ARE YOU KIDDING? Over a week of screwing around with your absolutely rubbish service; we want an immediate refund/cancellation of the charge on our credit card.
Recently switched from a free service to ExpressVPN. Yes, the price is a little higher but you can definitely get your money's worth in terms of connection reliability and server choices.
Great app with a really nice layout. Selecting server is really simple and the network lock protects my privacy even when i'm disconnected. Highly recommended.

Answer: If you subscribe for ExpressVPN services they will bill you for their services not for Netflix subscription.
