I usually love Express, but I have been trying to order new colors of Portifino shirts for weeks. There are only around 5 colors on line available. I need some new similar shirts ASAP. I am going to have to go shopping elsewhere. Express has always has always plenty of color options to order in these shirts. I am disappointed. Will they be available soon?
I went to express out late mall at Charlotte. They offer me discount if I open express credit card. I did open credit card and paid my bill with new credit card and I paid my credit card bill right there with my cash. Normally I don't keep my receipt with me. I got credit card bill by mail after one month. I got surprised. I got bill which I already paid. No one listen my complain. They keep asking me receipt. Basically I had to paid twice which. Thief employee.
I'm sad I even have to give them a 1 for their customer service. I received an order confirmation code after placing a large online order during the 40% off sale. After waiting a week for my order to be shipped to me, I finally emailed them where they told me they couldn't find the order. Instead of honoring the coupon and replacing my order in which they never fully processed by their own fault, I was told there's nothing they can do. I have never ordered from such an incompetent, greedy company before. So, instead of ordering my work clothes from express, I will be ordering from other companies instead; companies who can adequately fulfill an online order and provide excellent customer service because express falls short by a long shot.
Express has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I work in the retail and restaurant industry and Express representatives are not trained to be hospitable or accommodating AT ALL! They are greedy and I will never, ever be shopping here again based on how their customer service representatives treated me.
I have always shopped at express, but normally just in store. I bought something that was on sale and even payed for 2 day shipping. After 5 days I still heard nothing other than a confirmation email that my order WAS placed, I decided to call them. I get on the phone was first a man who hung up on me, then a very rude woman who told me my order was cancelled because it was out of stock, and acted like I was dumb for not knowing that. I emailed them saying how upset I was, they told me they could honor that price for me if I wanted to buy something else, so I did buy something else, and the guy said that he could only honor me for the BOGO price, which was 20 dollars more than I payed. I told him I wanted to cancel the order, no email back and then 2 days later I get an email saying it's shipped. So upset. Worst online AND customer experience of my life.
Order came extremely late. International processing fees when ordering from Canada. Cancelled items. Sluggish return system (still waiting after over a month). Checking my credit card pending transactions showed several charge corrections. Get your act together, Express. Find managers willing to invest in better staff training and hire skilled IT coordinators...
I would never order again I waited 70 days for skirt it never cam so I called to re-order and it still never came called the company it was never reordered now out of stock and can't get that skirt at all they suck employees shouldn't lie!
I attempted to make a purchase online using a gift card. When I submitted my order, the site said it couldn't process my gift card and suggested I use another form of payment. Several hours later I attempted to place my order again, only to find my gift card now had a balance of 0. After several phone calls, 30 minutes later I was told my gift card had a hold placed on it that will take 48 hours to correct. Its hard for me to shop with a colicky newborn. I wasted all my time. I will never shop here again
I ordered a gift card on December 10,2022 to give as a Christmas gift which should have been plenty of time to ship to me before Christmas. It is December 23 and the gift card still has not come in the mail. If I don't get it by tomorrow, I will not have it in time for Christmas. I called customer service twice and was told it was shipped on December 15 and if I don't get it by December 30 to call them back. REALLY!? It should not take that long to ship a gift card.
I always like express but I totally don like them right now. Am trying to order clothes and accessories online. I used my gift card but for some reason my order didnt go trough. I try to re order them again but then my gift card was zero balance. So weird, so I call customer service only to find out that they put a 24 hrs hold unto it eventhough the transaction wasnt successful. Its awful that I need to wait until the next day to finish my order. Its a good thing I have a gift card to redeem cause if not I will never shop at this store again. Crazy, customer service is of no help either...
I like Express clothing, when they left Canada it was a shame. If you're placing orders online from Canada, watch out for hidden charges. Although it's not stated, you're ordering in USD which immediately increases your CAD total. They also add a hidden, sneaky charge, in my case, an extra $68USD that wasn't notified in advance or itemized on my bill. I only noticed it because I checked my credit card the following day and the amount was significantly more than I anticipated. When I subsequently checked my order document, there was a total for merchandize, tax - $0, shipping - $0 then the overall total was +$68USD. In my opinion, this is fraudulent and illegal. I called to ask for a refund of the entire order which they told me they wouldn't do. They did, however, refund the $68USD sneaky charge. In addition, they make it very difficult / expensive to return international orders. Very disappointing, I will not be shopping here again.
I went in to make a return and after standing there 25min with my fussy kids the girl told me to come back another day or later. I came back 15 min later and again she was just standing there and said my receipt is expired and wanted to give me a almost half of what I paid. I have the tags and receipt. I left and called another nearby store and was told she should of done the return for what I paid. I called cooperate. We will see when they call me what there solution is.
Ordered online. Spent not a few dollars but a few hundred. Upon checking out the site was glitching. When my order finally went through there was an extra $100 added on. All that was done was a recalculating of my order to the correct amount. The issue is the $$ they took out is still going to hold to my account for up to 5 business days and it is in the wee morning hours of saturday morning. That is an extra $100 for a week that I planned to have. Very disappointed.
I live in Canada and so each time I place an order I get charged the International Processing Fee, however, I also get charged this fee for items that get cancelled and never makes it into my shipments. I will no longer be ordering from Express as they say the International Processing Fee is prepaid regardless of whether or not your items will be shipped. Due to two items being cancelled from my recent order, 50% of the charges for my order were the International Processing Fee! That is just ridiculous... I will no longer be purchasing anything from Express!
I used spend hundreds of dollars a year at this place. It was were I bought all my suits and dress shirts for work. No more, I bought 2 pants with the tags still on it and lost the receipt. They would not let me return them. By the time I found the receipt, it was past 60 days and again they won't let me return them... don't waste your time with this subpar company. Shop banana republic instead, better quality clothing and better costumer service.
I spoke with Scott he scheduled me a interview with angela@ 1pm i arrived 1900 ridge road@ 12:45 because scott said come early to complete application i already told him i filled application out online so when i arrived angela said she found my app so i was waiting for her to interview me angela told me to come back in 15 min then it will be 1pm i did come back@ 1pm angela interviews a guy before me and i already been there i never got a interview and i was waiting for 3 hours horrible horrible place waste of time
I ordered a racerback white tee of medium size and to my dismay i found an extra extra very extra large tee sent to me. The tee cost me 11$ on black friday and now if i need to return or exchange it i need to pay 7$. So i will never buy again from them. I wish i can give them something like zero on the rating.
Do yourself a favor stay away from express online order. I will never buy nothing on express, they charged my credit card and them canceled my order. They didn't even send me an email I had to find out myself after 16 days. I lost my money and they couldn't help me until now. They costumer service are professional liars. Please find another store to shop online, not this one they will drive you crazy.
I used to love Express, the clothes are always trendy and super cute and there's always a coupon. Today was the 4th time I went to Express trying to use a coupon and was denied because the item was on sale. At one point in time, you could use your coupons on sale items, but now clearance. Now they're restricting that again. Additionally, because the store was on sale, I couldn't use my reward. In recent years, I have had 5 sweaters tear at the neck and shoulder seams and have still given them a chance, but I think it's time to pay my card off and say goodbye.
I used to spend hundreds of dollars every quarter on express.com. They started closing the stores around me and I have to do my purchases and returns online. Not once was any order smooth sailing. Unless you have 2 hours to spare waiting for the customer service rep on the phone while the song "I don't want to waste your time" plays ironically, you should stop buying from express.
Oh, the quality of their clothes have went down hill as well.
PRO-TIP: If they ever tell you that they will not charge you the return fee for a defective item, NEVER BELIEVE THEM. This has NEVER EVER happened to me. I have NEVER gotten a full refund.
