I have booked my flight tickets here. They have quoted me the best price which infact no other website gave me. The prices are low and their customer support is awesome!
When I was eagerly searching for some exclusive non-stop flight deal on web I went to skyscanner to book my flight that redirected me to book a flight through exploretrip first I was worried as it is unknown website to me but finally ended up my trip with a very good deal for Non-stop flight through this website.
During the last 2 weeks I booked up to 5 times the ticket on the route Dubai - Johor Bahru. Each time I receive a confirmation of the reservation, but after a dozen or so hours I receive an email: "We regret to inform you that your reservation was canceled because the payment details were not provided."
During this booking I have already given 2 different cards: Visa and Mastercard. Both cards are money! The banks claimed that no one contacted them about the verification of the card. It's a LYING! During the reservation, the data security key disappears momentarily. Could this site be a credit card thief? Tickets do not want to sell. They will not reply to my emails.

I dont want choose even 1 star too, but no option there. WORST WORST WORST WORST customer support. No one is capable or professional at service, if you have any issue they won't respond in time and if you call them they make you hold forever. The worst customer service NEVER TRUST these guys, I strongly RECOMMEND not to book your tickets through this EXPLORETRIP they don't help you at all.
As a first time user I found the process simple and user friendly. Exploretrip delivers on it's promise to give customers the best/cheapest rates available.
I booked a trip through sky scanner, with explore trip as the agency.
2 weeks before my flight, I got a call from explore trip saying that my flight had been rescheduled by the airline, and that to change to an earlier flight I would have to pay a fee of $125 USD.
The man on the phone could barely speak English or explain what was going on.
Any questions I asked him he could not comprehend.
I asked him if rescheduled changes should not be covered by the airline or the booking agency (as I have had rescheduled/cancelled flights in the past and this has always been the case).
All he could say is "no", and ushered me to "pay the fee before the prices go up".
Confused, and unable to get any clarity from the guy on the phone. I called the airline directly the next day to see what was happening.
They were equally as confused and said that they NEVER charge for rescheduled flights or cancellations, and that all of the fee was being charged by Explore trip.
My friend who was on the exact same flight, booked through another agency but got his flight changed free of charge.
Long story short, after finding this out I called Explore trip to explain that the airline would change my flight directly for free, only to be told that explore trip have the ownership of the ticket and wouldn't change it unless I paid their made up, outrageous fee.
Don't book with these scumbags unless you enjoy getting strong armed and milked for money.
I saved almost 300$ on a flight from Boston to Rome booked from exploretrip initially I was in a little confusion to book my tickets with them but later I realized that they are the best travel agency of which I came across up to now because of their accuracy in pricing system.
On Feb 19th I received a cancellation email from exploretrip so i called them to ask what happened? They told me that there was an error but the reservation is SET and CONFIRMED so I asked them to send me a confirmation email just in to have something in writing.
They sent the email off while I was on the phone with them.
Fast foward to the flight. I sent my mother 70 years old and grandmother 90 years old to the airport and they were told the tickets were cancelled.
Customer support told me that they wouldnt do anything for tickets and that i was better off sending them an email. The manager Rowen was basically pushing me off and wouldnt do anything even though i have the emails showing the mistake was made by exploretrip staff.
Never use this company. They export all their customer service to india and wasted 4 hours trying to get the issue resolved with my elderly mom and grandmother sitting at the airport for 10 hours for a last minute flight.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. The charge me twice and then denied they had any record of it even after I sent a copy of my bank statement. They put you on hold and never come back. Tried to cancel within the 24 hours after being on the phone all day with them, making promise after promise to return my over charged money but also to even get this cancelled. They are very rude and act like it is all your fault. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL CHEAT YOU AND TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN CHARGE YOU EXTRA HIGH PRICES AFTER THE FACT OF YOUR RESERVATION. STAY AWAY!
I have used Exploretrip.com to look for tickets for my two last vacations. Very competitive prices and very easy to do the search. I gave only 4 stars... well no one is perfect, right?! :)
After going through an arduous ordeal to book, they claim the airline changed their availability and then try to get you to pay a lot more for a different flight. This is a complete SCAM.
Their website was broken and I wanted to add travel insurance but it didnt work. So I booked the flight and it mentioned to email customer support to add travel insurance. So thats what I did. Then they didnt respond to my email, I called, left several voicemails because the line was so busy.
And eventually forgot about it.
Now I had to cancel the trip because my daughter ended up in the hospital because she nearly died. I wanted to use my travel insurance and found out they never took care of it and now dont want to reimburse me. I have all proof on email, as I sent follow up emails after each voicemail I left.
They told me to go talk to the airline, of course they dont want to deal with their own b. S.
But the mistake was made by exploretrip, not the airline.

I bought a ticket for India from Toronto through SkipLagged (and its not the first time i used that site) It took me to ExploreTrip to confirm the booking. I made my purchase and i received a Booking Confirmation, but I was to receive the e-ticket within 4 hours. 14 hours later, and 3 phone calls to ExploreTrip, the best excuse I got was 'your travel date is far, so your purchase is still in queue'. My 4th call was an extremely polite cancellation which was fortunately successful. Speaking with my bank, they told me that a purchase was NOT made, and that there is nothing for me to worry about. This however isn't the funny part.
I sent a feedback mail to SkipLagged. Next day, i get 2 phone calls from ExploreTrip, one from California, and another from New York. Both said SkipLagged contacted them and they wanted to know if I was still interested. They both got an earful from me and because the call was (allegedly) recorded, they didn't say or deny anything, except say that they are thankful for my feedback and they would let management know. Un-surprisingly, they both didn't know that I had cancelled the trip with one of their agents the previous night.
I still trust SkipLagged, and will continue to do so, since I have booked through them multiple times. ExploreTrip, however, would't travel through them if my life depended on it.
I needed a round trip from Indian to Melbourne and back in India and I got it at a less price than many other websites. I could save much more. This was very helpful.
Best support ever received. All performed as promised. Super on line travel rarangements. Completely satisfied with all aspects of the service. Highly recommend to travelers.
I had to reschedule my trip. Inspite of seeing many negative feedback i was bit scared about their service but they were really helpful. Thank you exploretrip.
Please avoid this website like the plague! Its 'cheap' fares are quite simply bogus and above all it doesn't deliver you a ticket, even if you pay full, high prices for tickets. Yesterday I found a great fare to Europe on the site, pressed 'select' and then entered all the information for 3 travellers. When it came to purchase, a message popped up saying that 'this itinerary is no longer available' and I was re-routed to other fares, much more expensive and the same as airlines' own websites basically. This was only the start, though. I continued and eventually found another decent fare for a flight the following day, booked it, entered credit details and then purchased the ticket. This time I got a confirmation, including an email saying that my e-tickets would be mailed within 3 hours. A day later, the tickets never showed up, despite the flight being only hours away. I tried calling customer service but nobody answered the phone - I wasn't even able to leave a message as their voice mail system was full! Trying to email them, I received no reply. Basically this is a shambolic outfit and can not offer the reliability one requires for good travel. Please avoid this site and stick with a more reputable company. The low fares on this site are really only illusory.
We booked a flight from them and got our flight number reference and our e-ticket not longer after. The same night, we received an email saying the transaction was canceled because of mismatching info. I called my bank and the bank said the transaction went through. I called them 3 times because i had book a pet in cabin and recerved my seat with the real company (air transat)... so no more ticket but still have my seat reserve and my pet in cabin... there system doesn't make any sense... they should not issue ticket before paiement is confirmed!
My flight got canceled, call them to get refund. Agent told me that they will give me credit for it. I told them I want the refund bcos you never know. Since some airlines will be going bankruptcy. Agents says that they will be taking 30% out for canceling fee.? Fxxxxxk. I wanted to talk to his manager... he says there's no one here that you can talk to... he was saying that hes the only one who can help me... and i told him you are not helping me. Only words coming from his mouth was nope no nope no nope... only credit... nope. Hold for 10 minute... let me find out... nope... no... I will be back 1 hour... fxxxk... I was on phone for 90 minutes... amd 70 some minutes I was on hold... I was getting tired and gave up... I let them take my $450... it was so stressful 90 minutes... I will never use this junk again.
Unbeknownst to me i booked my flight to Hawaii through this airline (from my iphone app). I thought it was going well, until everything went bad! I was charged a pending charge for my entire flight, followed by my return flight, following by my departing flight. I have been trying to get them to resolve this issue since last Thurs, its Wed already. Every time ive called the reps make it seem like its my fault and keep putting me on long silent holds that end up with a random automated person saying im sorry were busy. Goodbye. I was told they would resolve my issue once i sent in my bank statement, now they told me they never received my email. No my bank account was frozen and i have 3 desperate overdraft fees from this company and be manager Malone told me we wont refund it bc we dont see the charges even though the Sup Kenna told me they would. I have a headache from going round and round this past week. NEVER EVER BOOK WITH THEM! A lot of Indian reps who would rather argue with you than be accountable and get you results.
Answer: This site is a sham,. They lie, and will not resolve any issues you have.
