Evony should be a strategy battle game... instead it is a scam site where Top games installs players on servers who dominate the entire game.
It is unfair and the "ruler" of each server does as they please to anyone the please. The "ruler" will make up their own rules at any given time and break their own rules anytime they like and you have no recourse.
DO NOT WASTE ANY TIME OR MONEY ON THIS GAME IT IS A SCAM OPERATED OUT OF CHINA!

Evony started out as a good game (Civony & Age 1) but soon was taken over by botters/cheaters. Age 2 was instantly inundated with them. Every server is run by a handful of botters with multiple accounts, which are managed by botts, and feed the main account with resources and troops via "glitches". While Evony once maintained that this was illegal, and cheater's accounts would be closed (The STILL stream this in a page headliner), they don't even attempt to do so anymore. They put most of their resources into their new mobile game app now. Of course, the cheaters just claim it's "part of the game" and anyone complaining is whining. If you are thinking about starting up this game... DON'T. It's crap.

For people that don't mind spending over $10,000.00 to even begin to be able to compete works just fine. Understand this game is designed to take your money with very little return for your investment. They trick people with words like "Massive Rewards" where the rewards are just about USELESS! So as long as you don't mind spending big money then go for it. Overall EXTREMELY BORING, with HOURS of wasted time running around trying to collect microscopic rewards really only useful for the low level players. Understand this is a COINERS game which means if your not prepared to invest tons of money this game IS NOT for you

When challenged about glitches that happened after a recent game update (AKA money grab), Evony customer service deemed months of time, effort, consumable items and most of all LOTALTY to keep playing their game a "Dev team strategy" to a player losing 44 million experience points gained towards increasing a level (average player gains 2-4000 Exp per day of playing)
When shown screenshots of the glitch, the game developers refused to acknowledge the errors the update caused, return the lost experience or compensate for it.

Please stay away from this game, its a complete rip off, I've spent hundreds on this game, now all my troops have been lost, I've tried to contact them over a hundred times and not had one reply.

Below is what the mystery puzzles actually look like and you can see it's way different from the game in on level 33. It goes to level 35 and total there are 55 puzzle stages to unlock and the other players have told me that once you unlock all the stages you still don't see a Tiger or gold falling when you win the level. I'm telling you this because this is why I joined the game and it's super misleading!

Let me start and say this game allows cyber bullying and does nothing to stop it, the commercials that you see for Evony is not how the game is my keep (castle) is at level 33 and I have never seen a Tiger in the mystery puzzle levels and when you win the round you get a chest. You don't life or pull anything and money all down you you to collect. Also if you have issues with the game you either make a ticket or send an email regardless it will take days or even weeks for 1 response and that response want not helpful. Customer service I would give a 1 out of 10 and the bulling they allow on this game I have seen racist slurs thrown many many times and how the men speak to women is atrocious! The game does nothing to those people and let's them hurt people and then those people go after your castle burn it down and take all of your resources when it's not a war and it's peace time.

First and foremost it's a pay to win game. If you don't plan on spending any money DO NOT bother with the game. If you do not plan on spending at least $100 DO NOT bother playing. The server I was on the leadership was pre-determined by a group of players that left another and started on a new one. They spread out to make the top 5 alliances. How? Many alt accounts used to draw others to them. They were all big spenders and all 5 we the top power in the server. If you didn't spend money or were in a small alliance you were KOS. If you spoke out in world chat or disagreed with them you were targeted and the rules of NAP were ignored. I'm essence they were pay to win bullies. Personally I did not experience this but watched it all go down. As a long time gamer and someone that has played in E-League I was looking for a mild distraction. I soon realized this game was not for me. It was pretty obvious the powers that be were going to run the server into the ground and purposely drive off any casual pay or non paying player. I suspect it's like this on the other servers as well. I guess what I am saying is if you don't plan on spending mass amounts of money on a time gated (all building is time gated and designed to make you want to spend money by buying speed ups) game pass this one by. It's not a puzzle game lol

This game has lost its core. IT IS NO LONGER ABOUT STRATEGY. This is a game wholely based on coining. I WAS ONE FOR 19 MONTHS. Unless you plan to drop in excess of $4-5k US dollars a month easy, you will not be able to remotely compete. Even if you keep your head above water, to garner new and higher buffs, Evony just expands the game to push to buy new packs. YOU WILL NOT GET THOSE BUFFS WITHOUT SPENDING... A LOT. Don't do it. Don't download it, stay away. Go somewhere else with your time and money.

This game used to be fun but now it has become a black hole of disappearing funds, time and sanity. The lack of customer service, the constant glitches and server connection crashes, the routine money grabs and the unbelievable level of greed is beyond control. The player gap has grown so wide that if you do not spend 5k per week (that is literal no typed for effect) you can not achieve or acquire any of the items that would allow you to be competitive or protect yourself. They frequently cheat you out of your items/troops and if you are lucky enough to get a response from CS the first thing the will ask you for is "a screenshot of the occurrence". You could have video, a YouTube channel and a written statement but if you don't have a screenshot of the occasion happening in real time then it's your fault. They also frequently ignore the older servers because they "have no value" to their bottom line and are hoping that the players will quit and start again on a new server. You are held hostage to the server you are sent to and can never move after you have made your investment. This game, if it were an actual business would have been burned down by now and the CEO put in jail for fraud. I have played this game for 3yrs (I am embarrassed to say) and I believe this weekend will be my last

I have been playing for a while. The game is a total rip off. Inorder to get strong in the game you have to spend alot of money, then when you start getting strong, your own team mates kill your troops because you forgot to put your bubble shield up, by the way, you have to buy bubble every day which is quite expensive! Next almost every week the game send zombies to attack your city so yo have to spend more money on shield and troops! The list goe's on and on. It, after a while of playing gets more and more boring, the people in charge of the game act like nazis, and if you break any rule like not killing enough monsters or forgetting to put your bubble sheild up they kick you out of your clan and they get other clan members to invite you into another clan so you have to start over again and spend more money --->PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Game is designed for you to buy everything. If you do purchase anything the game glitches so much you never get what was purchased. Evony team will call you a liar and say you did get it

So I tried this game for a while on a different device, and it wasn't working for me and had low quality and wasn't like it was at all in the ads, and I thought maybe my device was just not working… I was wrong a complete false advertisement. So I Checked the reviews and AND THERE aRe MAJOR GLITCHES a review said?! Not to mention it takes like a WHOLE lot of levels to actually do the puzzles in the ads, what a disappointment.do NOT recommended.(F. I. Y. -the package stuff is from a review I read)

Evony is essentially an interactive, bellicose, and fantasy game based on fighting and kingdoms pitting against one another. Think GoT asthetic with historically imagined characters.
When I first joined Evony, it seemed chill enough, but it also made me realize that with the multiple attacks and scouts on my kingdom, I had to join an Alliance and pair up with individuals with more experience. When I did join an Alliance, they helped me grow a moderate amount.
Eventually, most of the active players who also doubled as efficient leaders left the Alliance. After that, I felt more independent than in an Alliance.
Later on, I reached out to another Alliance to help grow more. That Alliance transferred me to another alliance before I finally settled. When I did, I understood that the alliance I had now joined was one of the top alliances worldwide. Like, seriously, the stats were crazy.
Recently, however, the alliance has become more like an obligation than something that was built for fun. I understand that the people are in an alliance which needs very active and participating players, but it seems like they take it more seriously than necessary. Like, they're scared to take a break at any point. It feels like a job.
This is my 2c, and I know that there are also a lot of complaints regarding money and how the lags and game performs overall, so I'll leave that here.
Hopefully, if you're reading this, you'll avoid this game.

My husband has spent $1000's dollars to play this stupid f-king game. This game is destroying my life and our marriage. He is addicted to this crappy game

The last time I wrote a review for this game, I was a mid-tier player. However, since then I reached the best of the game though the bots and glitches I had outlined in the previous review. What I found was saddening. Unfortunately, there are two problems which make this game unplayable at the top level unless you have the funding to manage it: One glitch, involving the poor quality of the servers, allows players to trick the server into doubling their troop counts. The stratagems as they are so called that are needed for this method cost money, meaning if you have money, you can double your troops as often as you'd like. The second issue is third party players, professional coders, have created a botnet system which allows for the sale of stratagems from what are called "Lord accounts". A botnet creates thousands of new accounts, each of which can spin the wheel for a free item daily. Some of these items are very valuable in game, and access to them and use of them can be bought for a literal subscription fee to that third party of developers. So, though this game was honestly a lot of fun, none of the prior exploits I had found brought money into the conversation. These top tier exploits do, and a lot of it. Sadly, I will have to strongly advise staying away from this game because of it.

Customer service is almost non-existent. And when they do actually get back to you, it never really fixes anything. Even after spending thousands of dollars.

If you have issues with anything in this game, they are very very SLOWWWWWWWWWW to respond let alone act. I purchased a $100 packet in which I did not receive. Provided all bank information and documentation for them to continue to tell me they are working on it. I believe this was a ploy to avoid me going to my bank. Their representative Ricca took a week to finally tell me i was out of luck that they sent it, no questions just done. Great customer service, NOT. AVOID THIS GAME, as they have constant issues with serer maintance and purchasing any packages at YOUR OWN RISK

I downloaded this game in hopes of just doing the puzzles...right what was i thinking...DUH. No they want you to play a bunch of other BS just to do a few puzzles.
