I have always had good service and prompt responses to my questions from e-trailer. It is my go to place for replacement parts and fifth wheel accessories. Much better than going to Camping World or other RV outlets that have limited selections. I will always be an e-trailer customer.

I love the option to lock up my stuff inside a cage but I still haven't decided if having the tall walls and locking lid are what I will need more than just an open cargo carrier.
For the curious, the lid is not designed to be stored with the carrier when the carrier is tilted up for storage while still in the hitch receiver. Not a big deal because you can always strap it on or put inside the vehicle. Just wanted to know and they answered real quick!
I was charged $2.02 for shipping when I purchased the item. Having to return it they want to charge me $12.20!. The original. Otem cost $13. That's a terrible business practice

I had questions regarding which hitch and rack would work for my needs - my questions were answered almost immediately via email. Products arrived quickly and i installed per instructions. The hardest part was cleaning the bolt holes on the vehicle (a little rusty under there). Very impressed with the personalized recommendations. Will definitely ping trainer first for my next vehicle.
Ordered camper jacks, sent me the wrong ones and had to cancel my trip. Have now received the wrong ones again! Have the rest of my vacation for my trip in 2 days and now I am out of luck with no problem resolved. Horrible will never be using again

Purchased a hitch for our 2017 Kia Sedona. It arrived both damaged in transit from UPS and also had a large number of scratches that someone attempted to cover up with a Sharpie. All they offered was $10 to cover the purchase of touch-up paint and would not replace it with a new one. To be fair, I did have to install it right away because I needed the hitch for a bike rack and couldn't wait for a replacement. But since I installed it they wouldn't take it back even though it was damaged before I got it.
UGH! After waiting 2 weeks to find someone to install I was told it was for the wrong car. My garage has the right car, but the website let me easily order the wrong item.
Customer service claims "something small shows up and says it is wrong, but it is easily overlooked." After arguing with customer service they are sending me the right hitch. Don't order on line - call them to get the right part or use someone else.
I asked about installing the Redarc Tow Pro Elite on my 2019 Land Cruiser. The first answer assumed I had no tow package. The second answer told me to buy a different (and wireless) brake controller because Toyota allegedly stopped including the wiring harness for a brake controller. I replied that I do not trust wireless for a brake controller and asked again. No response. Since then, on another forum, I have been assured that Toyota still includes the wiring harness. I'll find out soon enough, but not through any help I have received from etrailer.com so far.
Ordered my bearings kits on Sunday, and paid $14.00 for 3-day shipping. Received an email Sunday stating "your order has shipped". Okay, now I subtract Sunday, and figured my order will arrive on Wednesday. My UPS tracking stated Thursday. Contacted Customer service. CS rep told me that UPS didn't count the first business day as a shipping day, so the first shipping day would be Tuesday, and my order would be there in 3 days on Thursday. Explained to CS that perhaps etrailer's auto emails should not announce to customers their orders have shipped when it hasn't actually shipped. She went on to defend etrailer, instead of taking a bit of criticism. Hey, to me "shipped" means it's actually moving not sitting there for another two days before it's actual journey starts! How about you?

I was having a terrible time finding out anything about fitting a tow hitch to my 2017 AUDI Q5. So I asked a few questions about hitches and electrical for my AUDI and I received a reply just a couple days later.The answer was more complete than I could have hoped for and suggested everything I would need to set my AUDI up for towing. I will be sure to order from them once I find a highly rated place for the install.

They sent me a 1/2" pin when I needed a 1/4", so they re sent me another swagman hitch pin after I sent them an email about it and this next time it was another 1/2" pin that they sent me, So now I'm stuck with two sets of 1/2" pins that won't fit my back rack, cool. Unreal, Psh
I needed a replacement key, got a quick response and ordered my key. I haven't received my order as yet.
I ordered a Curt trailer hitch, wiring harness and bike rack. The etrailer.com website stated the rack would hold 5 bikes. The only way that MIGHT happen is if two of the bikes are men's bikes. Not real practical for a family with husband, wife and three kids. When I called customer service I was told I would have to pay $32.00 return shipping because the pictures on the website showed the rack holding 5 bikes. When I asked the customer service rep if he had ever tried to put 5 bikes on this rack he replied no. It looks like a high quality bike rack but it will not work for a normal family of five. By the way, the box says it will hold 4 bikes and then in another place it says 5 - something not quite right.
Etrailer had fast shipping and also answered a couple of questions I had. I'm not impressed with with the Reese 5th wheel adapter though. The welds were not ground down prior to powder coating, so the first time I moved the T handle to lock the adapter into place it took the powder coating off. This happened on 3 of the 4 corners and because the welds are so high I can't tell whether I'm meeting resistance because the adapter is locking in correctly or if it's because of the high welds that were not ground down.
