E-Trailer needs to change up their marketing on this particular product because I got the unit but then I had to turn around and order the power supply specific to the unit because it's not a plug and play unit! However now that I have a COMPLETE new unit it works great!

Was setting up GMC Denali for flat towing behind Class A motorhome. Found everything needed with very detailed, easy to follow instructions.

Bolt holes need to be checked before shipping this kind of order. I had to woke on the idem to make it work for my needs.
I had to drill some new holes to make it work.

Delivery was 2 days faster than expected. It allowed me to use the rack that weekend.

As others have said, the directions are trash. There is no indication of which carriage bolt to use. I recommend organizing them and start from the longest ones and go to the shortest ones.

This rack is solid on my 2016 RAV4. I had a very similar driving experience as was shown in etrailer's test drive videos. There were no issues folding it up. The bikes we carried were secure our entire trip. I'll add a cable and lock to the bikes if we should ever keep the bikes on the rack overnight.

I do wish etrailer indicated what was included. I wasn't sure if the braided-steel cable lock was included. It is not. Another review may have incorrectly described the socket size for the threaded locking hitch pin. It is a 15/16" socket and it is helpful to use during installation and removal of the rack. Finally, this rack is heavy. I have to take the 2 bike section off to carry and store it. If you are taking it off the vehicle and putting it straight down to the ground, you probably don't need to take it half apart.

I wasn't familiar with Swagman but this rack meets my needs and exceeds my expectations. I wasn't willing to double the cost to get something lighter.

I'm looking forward to my family's next use this weekend.
