It sucks to be a user of theirs honestly It was ridiculous of me to even try using them in the first place! From the name alone, I should have expected the foolery. I didn't even see it coming, thankfully! I was only a victim for a short while. These scammers messed with the wrong person. No way was I going to leave almost $200,000 with them. I took the law into my own hands, reported them to a security firm, urfa.io, and I was able to pull out my withheld money. For all victims like me, do the same and file a complaint.

I firmly alert against drawing in with E*TRADE, as my experience proposes they work as a trick organization. Be careful about any contribution, as it might bring about monetary misfortune and negative outcomes. I've gotten my cash back and that was just way I could go about it. I found support from. (I Involved THEIR Site URL AS MY Showcase NAME AND PROFILE PICTURE ON THIS Audit INCASE YOU Want Assistance AND Believe Should Connect with THEM). Note: I did this on account of the severe arrangement here and truly I simply need to help whatever number individuals as would be prudent to get their cash back.

I also lost a large amount of money to these guys. They kept telling me the money was available to withdraw, but I had to pay for this and that first. I ended up paying twice, hoping that would be it — but then they came up with more excuses and tried to convince me to deposit even more to "meet a threshold" of 300,000 EUR. A lady even called me, sounded very convincing, but by that point I had done my own digging and realized it was all fake. They weren't who they claimed to be, and my money was already gone. Thankfully, I decided to take action recently, find by googling cwpsc — and I'm so glad I did. I truly thought my losses were permanent. This is not a company I'd recommend to anyone. Please stay away. It's not worth the pain, stress, and financial loss. Not everyone is lucky like I was.

Welp, they completely screwed up our taxes. We have had to pay penalties and fines because THEY are having major issues with their tax reporting software. We have to probably hire an attorney now to clear it all up. It's costing thousands of dollars.
AND
You better hope you NEVER have a family member who needs you to do power of attorney for ANY reason. They will make you submit forms, get notarized documents, etc. NUMEROUS TIMES. THEN will tell you that THEY gave you the "wrong one". You try to call in with the account holder on the line, they deny. SO, you try to go to an office with the account holder, no appointments available and VERY few locations, making it very difficult for someone older/infirm to do ANYTHING they need to do. They will NOT help. Foreign people answer phones and have NO IDEA what to do if what you need or ask isn't in their script-book. They deliberately wait, drag things out, won't return calls and obfuscate their own policies and withhold access to YOUR LOVED ONE's FUNDS until something happens to them, then they will likely "absorb" said funds. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT USE E-TRADE!
We moved ALL of our money OUT. Trust broken. End of.

Beyond grief but still grateful for the opportunity I have to share my experience which was mostly bad until the end thank goodness for how it ended this scam company stole all my pension from me after I was sugarcoated to thinking that we would get massive returns after realizing a few months later I was scammed reported them to my local police who referred to me Urfa.io who helped me recover all again thank goodness for how it ended I advice no one to use etrade

Horrible customer service

The wait times on hold are ridiculous 20-30 minutes just to get someine on the phone. Then, they again put you on hold. One representative will ask for certain credentials or informtion to get into the account while others ask for additional information. Very frustrating...

I had an awful experience with E*Trade. I trusted them with my investment, but when I needed access to my funds, they suddenly became unavailable. Customer support was a nightmare—they kept giving me the runaround, avoiding my questions, and offering no real solutions. It felt like I had lost everything. Thankfully, Zelrit LLP stepped in, took action, and helped me recover my money. I can't thank them enough for their help.

They are Clueless...

My Roth IRA account has been restricted since 2019. This whole year, I have been trying to either get it unrestricted or transfer my money out. It is ridiculous that this issue is still unresolved. It is worth filing a complaint with FINRA, moving my accounts elsewhere, and passing along knowledge of this long-running issue to others so they can be aware.

Despite the fact that my case was valid, customer service did not respond upon my request even after a few exchange emails. Had it not been for S I M O N C H's intervention, I would have ended myself deeply in debt and lost all of my money, including the account.
They saved me and returned all of my money.

AVOID E*TRADE AT ALL COSTS!

Absolute Nightmare Customer Service Experience

I've been trapped in a two-month bureaucratic hellscape trying to unlock my brokerage account. Despite repeatedly submitting all required documentation (W9 and Social Security card), E*Trade refuses to unlock my account.

CRITICAL ISSUES:
- Endless phone calls (45-90 minutes each time)
- Constant runaround from customer service
- Perpetually "busy" managers who never resolve anything
- COMPLETELY BLOCKED from trading or selling stocks
- SUBSTANTIAL FINANCIAL LOSSES due to their incompetence

Their system is fundamentally broken. I've lost THOUSANDS of dollars while they play bureaucratic games. This feels like financial imprisonment. No company should be allowed to prevent a customer from accessing their own investments.

Run, don't walk, away from E*Trade. They are a nightmare for investors.

So apparently E*Trade allows their new hire trainees to manage wire transfers now. Either the Trainee messed up, or the Manager messed up, but due to someone's oversight, they did not submit the Wire Transfer in time (we requested at noon today, and they didn't submit until after 4pm when the federal reserve closes).

This has caused us to miss our closing payment on the home, which has delayed closing until payment can be received, which won't be until Monday. We've had movers scheduled, utilities transferred, and other financial costs and losses due to E*Trade's mistake.

We will be leaving E*Trade first thing on Monday.

Good luck, if you choose to stay with them.

Horrible interface if you need to reset your password. Super frustrating, can't do it online, requires you call customer service with up to 30-minute wait, and then when you go to give them feedback in their feedback form to improve their system it says "unsafe characters in comments are not allowed", even took out all the hyphens - icing on the cake

I sent them a fax to open an account. Still no reply after 9 days. I call them to hear what happened. They said that it can't be opened. It would have been nice to receive an email... Only positive thing: there is a human being picking up the phone and being able to answer questions.

Have been very happy with E*Trade for years. Since Morgan Stanley took over, customer service seems to have evaporated. Going back 2 weeks I've only received 3 of 12 dividend payments across all my accounts. Never had a missed payment in the past. Live chat tells me 1 to 10 days for payment to appear. When asked if I should expect this going forward, the reply I got was "Correct". Moving everything to Fidelity.

Customer service calls used to be answered in 10-20 mins. Now it's a minimum of 1 hr. And even then they can't get anything right. They got my Roth and Regular IRA contributions wrong and had to make several calls to fix their error. Each time at least 1 hr of waiting before a human came on line. All this since Morgan Stanley acquired the company. Not surprised - the first thing they do is cut cost by letting people go without any thought how it affects customer experience. Will look into moving my accounts somewhere else.

I've never been so poorly treated as a customer. Rude customer service, limited trading ability, they will never be helpful towards the retail trader. I switched to TD Ameritrade and made 400% profits with everything you need at your fingertips.
