I noticed that when I bid on item and it had days to go people would start biding on that item as well. However if I wait until the last few seconds of a auction, often there are way fewer bids. This makes wining a item less expensive. With so many people on eBay charging outrageous shipping/handling charges I searched for a way to keep the competition at a minimum.
The answer is esnipe. A low cost alternative to biding myself. I can set it up to bid at any time before the end of an auction and it always works. I have never had a filed bid using this system. I don't get caught up in biding wars and never bid more than what I started out to bid. I love this system. I see people end up bidding more for an item than it can be purchased out right for. Its crazy. Get some management involved in bidding on eBay and try esnipe. I use it exclusively to bid on eBay.
I lost a bid that was significantly higher than the winning bid for a rare discontinued item.
This was reported as "ebay connection problem" and that I should read the server report.
This page is loaded with reports of this problem and the only recourse esnipe is willing to
Do is give bid points to the customers who lost auctions from this server glitch that is clearly
From esnipe's side.
How about making up the difference of having to purchase the item at a higher price than the auction winning price.
This is all too clear that esnipe is not as reliable as they boast on their page.
ESnipe takes security very serious and responds in record time! I've enjoyed the use of eSnipe and now took the time to review them when they exceed my expectations. Thank you Support at eSnipe.
Esnipe sounds like a good idea, for the website. Having observed esnipe, I fail to see why you need it. If you want something on ebay, all you have to do is bid the maximum amount you are willing to pay. If you don't know what that is, you shouldn't be bidding. Ebay only increases the amount you bid by one increment, say $1, more than the last bid. And it does it instantly. If the bids become more than your maximum, then you are outbid and the auction ends for you (costing you nothing). Esnipe does the same thing, except you have to pay not to bid. I have won close to 100 auctions this way, but it is much more fun to do your own sniping. And let's say you told it to bid 4 seconds before the end. That's still enough time for me to beat you, unless you bid more than my maximum. But hey, to each his own. I am not criticizing, just making an observation. Happy bidding, no matter how you do it.
Been a member of eSnipe for a long time now and I love this site. Because of eSnipe, my collection grew from the earlier days of eBay to present, and still growing.
They don't give a sh*t and when you want to finally cancel the crummy service, they offer a credit for unused points, but then refuse to follow-through. ESnipe started out with potential, but there are so many better sniping services out there now. I think eSnipe was sold a few times and is currently operated by one guy in his underpants in his mom's basement. Try Bidslammer. It's free and uses multiple servers.
I would give this site a zero if I could. They charged me a dollar for bids that should of only been 25 cents. I buy beads and bulk bid on a whole heap one night thought I saved myself a bundle the next day and a nights sleep but guess what. They ended up costing me twice as much as I would of considered paying in some cases. I of course complained and they sent me a $#*! n bull excuse that they charge 100 points for non us bids. Oh really? Because I didn't read that pearl in your "how much does is cost" in your Q's and A's. Theres much better free sites people can use. DONT use this site people they are dishonest and rip off merchants
Advantages.
1. Esnipe Bidgroups is THE KILLER APP HERE. Bid on a bunch of similar items with the intent of only buying one. Once Esnipe wins one, it won't bid on any more.
2. Find a better deal or change your mind, you can't cancel an ebay bid. You just have to wait and hope you get outbid. But you can cancel an esnipe bid.
3. Some chump ebayers keep upping their bids once outbid. But not if you snipe them at the last second.
Thanks to esnipe owners, they make a huge work to constantly update the ebay API. Last time they last 20 minutes only to fix the inconsistency. Good job.
I just logged on after a couple of years and my BidPoints are still there! Pretty cool that they didn't expire after all this time.
This service if for when you really, really want to win some item, this system will give you your best chance. I started using eSnipe years ago after forgetting to check up on an auction of something a really wanted right at the end of the auction. With eSnipe, you can just set it and move on with your life. It's always exciting to get that notice of a win when you weren't even thinking about it! Great for use at work when you might not be able to access eBay right at the critical moment. You don't need to use it every time, just on the important items.
If I lose an item on Esnipe It's because I did not bid high enough, and not because I wasn't fast enough that's not really a problem, as Sometimes I win more than I should but at least I'm winning, thank you Esnipe
ESnipe has been an absolute game-changer for my online bidding experiences on eBay. Before I delve into the details, it's worth noting that while I haven't tried other bidding programs available in the market, they might be equally good or even better. However, my experience with eSnipe has been so positive that I haven't felt the need to explore elsewhere.
Here's why I wholeheartedly recommend eSnipe:
1. **User-Friendly Interface**: The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate. Even for someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy, setting up bids is straightforward and hassle-free.
2. **Reliability**: I've come to trust eSnipe implicitly. It has always placed my bids accurately and on time, ensuring I don't miss out due to any technical glitches.
3. **Bid Timing**: eSnipe's precision in bid timing means I've often been successful in clinching deals at the last moment, without unnecessarily hiking up the price or getting involved in bidding wars.
4. **Cost-Effective**: The nominal fee eSnipe charges is a small price to pay considering the convenience it offers, and the potential savings from avoiding overbidding.
5. **Excellent Customer Support**: On the rare occasions I've reached out, their support team has been swift to respond, thoroughly professional, and very helpful.
In conclusion, while there might be other great tools out there, eSnipe has given me a seamless and efficient eBay bidding experience. It's eradicated the need for late-night bid placements and reduced the anxiety of potentially missing out on coveted items. If you're an avid eBay shopper, I'd certainly recommend giving eSnipe a try.
Wow, we're so grateful for your kind words! 😊 It's fantastic to know our sniping tool hit the mark for you! Thanks for choosing us! 🎯
This is a case where the less people know esnipe is available the better my chances are of winning the items I am bidding on, I have been happily using esnipe for over 10 years.
BEWARE USING ESNIPE. They will randomly remove your ebay sign-in password. Then after your auctions end they will inform you. "EBAY PASSWORD PROBLEM".
This has happened 3 TIMES TO ME!. It's always after I change my ebay password.
1. I log on to my esnipe account and change the password to my new ebay password.
2. Log on and off 3-4 times to make sure password is WORKING PROPERLY!
3. ESNIPE THEN CANCELS ALL MY NEW AUCTIONS BIDS.
It never fails. This is a BAD GLITCH for a auction bidding service
I'm done losing bids cause of them. HELLO AUCTION SNIPER!
I THINK ESNIPE GOT HACKED AND THE HACKERS FOULED UP THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM, BUT THEY WON'T ADMIT IT. I CAN'T BID ANY MORE. I GET THE MESSAGE "SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR EBAY INFO". I'VE PLACED DIRECT BIDS ON EBAY SINCE AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY EBAY INFO. THE PROBLEM IS ESNIPE. I HAVE SENT 5 EMAILS TO GET THIS CORRECTED AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK. WHAT TRULY LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. LOST 2 IMPORTANT BIDS AS A RESULT.
I AM CANCELING BECAUSE IF IT WAS HACKED THEN SOMEONE NOW HAS ALL MY PERSONAL INFO AND CAN USE MY ACCOUNT. THE PROBLEM NOW IS I CAN'T FIND OUT HOW TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT, AND I CAN'T GET ESNIPE TO TELL ME HOW.
WHAT A JOKE.
KEN ROBINSON
Ebay no longer recognizes esnipe. You can't authorize them without ebay saying your password was compromised. If you send esnipe money, you're giving it away. Steer clear.
I cannot be there for auction endings, but Esnipe is! And it keeps me within budget, not getting caught up in bidding 'fever'...
Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing eSnipe! We're thrilled to hear that our service helped you save money and win auctions. Happy bidding!
I've been using eSnipe since 2006 and think it is a great tool for end of auction bidding.
It is particularly useful when you just don't have the time to sit- and fume about losing an auction. When there is an item i really would like or need, I use eSnipe. Otherwise I just use the Buy-It-Now option.
I've both won and lost items in auctions with eSnipe. The ones I lost were simply too popular and went way above what I bid.
Some people report that esnipe never even bid on a item. That's happened to me too but ONLY because at the time my bid would have been placed, it was already above my highest bid. Esnipe states this in their terms and it perfectly understandable, correct software behavior.
You simply purchase "points" then use them as need be. My points purchased in 2006 are still good, they do not expire like cellphone rollover minutes.
My "points" purchase have paid for themselves over and over again. You do not need to be there for the end of auction, it works whether you are online or not, their servers do the work. I must admit, it is fun to watch yourself win an auction in the last 4-6 seconds of an auction without lifting a finger!
Out of the dozen or so time I have used this, it has NEVER failed to place a bid when my bid was higher then the current bid.
Placing a realistic bid is key to winning an auction. If you place a bid for $50 for something you KNOW will sell for $100, you simply won't win with any sniping software. Of course, I still do this knowing I'll probably lose and still get lucky on occasion.
This software is one of the best of it's kind and highly recommend it. If you do a lot of auction, then it;'s worth buying 1000 points. You can find out what their current pricing is, but 1000 points buys $1000 worth of eBay merchandise.
Happy Bidding!

Answer: Yes you can bid, eSnipe doesn't know or care about your other bids - it only does the last 'snipe' you program it to. But if you do bid on an item you're telegraphing your interest in the item to other bidders. Doing a minimum bid does prevent the seller from modifying the listing so I guess if you want that you can enter your lowest bid and wait for your eSnipe bid to activate at the end of the auction.
Answer: Don't bid at 3 seconds, go 6 or 8 seconds If a bid is the same as yours then that means you bid second and the win goes to the First bidder, you would have waited for the last 3 seconds and become the second bid, Also, you cannot bid below the minimum next bid increment, I know it's we all want to safeguard paying too much but ebay wont charge you more than the minimum increment That only increases after the last bid amount. So go a few bucks more than your instincts or even 10 more, if you need the item because You wont pay over the last minimum increment anyway.
Answer: Yes. However, if eSnipe also places a bid you will be charged "bid points". ESnipe is basically a clone of you. That said, you cannot outbid yourself.
Answer: No, that is not true. I used eSnipe for four eBay auctions last night (and won them all!) And I just placed bid on three more eBay auctions, which end tonight.
Answer: Why don't you ask esnipe about your problem. I have no problems about esnipe and privacy breaches.
Answer: Unless your bowling you must be referring to paypal. You buy in advance user points from esnipe, how you pay them is your business, and you can not buy from ebay unless you have sufficient points.
Answer: The seller will ship the item straight to you. We just place your bid@ the last second. You will pay and enter your shipping information through eBay as usual. Please reach out using the Contact Us button on our website [ https://www.esnipe.com/contact] and include your phone number in your questions. We will be happy to give you a call!
Answer: Sorry for the delayed response. We just recently joined the SiteJabber community. When we created our site, we built it to support multiple auction websites. However, we only support eBay auctions (All of their websites). You can sign up and try our service for free!
Answer: Yes, I do it all the time. So that the seller doesn't think there's no interest and Add a buy it now and have somebody else get it before my bid is placed.
