eSnipe
Questions & Answers
Recently I have been loosing many bids last min by just a the minimum amount over my bid that is too often to be a coincidence. I feel some one has a software that reads if there is anyone that is bidding on a item they want so they can see the Esnipe bid and come in close to the end of the bidding a beat my bid and I only bid with 3 sec left of the bidding. Is there such a software?

Don't bid at 3 seconds, go 6 or 8 seconds
If a bid is the same as yours then that means you bid second and the win goes to the
First bidder, you would have waited for the last 3 seconds and become the second bid,
Also, you cannot bid below the minimum next bid increment, I know it's we all want to safeguard paying too much but ebay wont charge you more than the minimum increment
That only increases after the last bid amount.
So go a few bucks more than your instincts or even 10 more, if you need the item because
You wont pay over the last minimum increment anyway.

Not that I know of. You will always see only the minimum amount above your bid regardless as to how much the other bidder actually bid..

I have used eSnipe for 100's of bids on Ebay. What you have described happens to me as well. I am pretty confident that it is the Seller who has posted a high bid on their own item. They do not want to sell it below a certain price. Those same sellers post that same item again for sale if they didn't get a bid as high as they wanted. I am the second highest bidder on Lots of items. Sometimes the seller offers it to me as a "Second Chance Offer." They do this at the price that I had put as my highest on eSnipe. I can choose to accept it or reject it, but it assures them that they get the highest price that ANY bidder placed.
