Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

It was an overall good experience. Easy to use and register. A little shot on description of the auction items and how and when you can pickup the items when you bid off site.
Went great. Was a new experience for me. Was very satisfied on the whole sale with listening to the actual bidding g process.
Fantastic! Thank you for the review Joshua.
Bidding was easy and fast, easy to navigate the account setup. Once logged in no need to keep reentering passwords. Got the items I was interested in.
Thanks Justin! Glad you enjoyed your experience with our site.
2nd email. Also I asked about the floor and stringers. Front stringer bent, floor moves—obviously hit something. Not saying I would not have bought trailer, but feel at the least he didn't try to look very much or wasn't totally honest
Thanks for the feedback, Deborah! The seller has been notified of your concerns.
Internet and sound went in and out from the location. I had to bid without any auctioneer sound so i was nervous. I did get the item i was looking for so it worked out.
Thanks for the feedback, Jeff! We'll let the seller know.
So very good bid here and take my item and good price today, i'll go for more
Dear Yoe, Thank you for your feedback!
No problem, they accepted my max bid quickly, might have gotten cheaper if in person
Thank you for the feedback Mark.
Auctioneer ended the auction to soon. Did not take my last bid.
Rudy thank you for the feedback. When the auctions are getting down to the wire, placing a max bid (the most you are will to pay) will help avoid the auctioneer calling sold before you have a chance to get your bid in.
All went well. I had no questions. Bidding and registration were easy.
Glad it all went smooth for you Susan. Thank you for the review.
All good except on the day of the auction the website was not working properly so I could not change my prebid or bid on the item.
Thanks for the feedback Jerry!
Each auctioneer is different, but I didn't like my first experience because they didn't bid each item separately, they allowed people to take all the items for the same price when there were multiple items, so it made it hard to get an item of interest. Some auctions take all day long, like 8am to 6:30pm, it just depends on the size of the auction.
Thanks for feedback, Matt!
I had a problem with my account, so I called in. The guy was very helpful and knowledgeable, had the problem fixed in no time.
Thank you Jerry. Glad you were happy with our customer service response.
Pre-bid isn't what they say. We put in a pre-bid which was supposed to go up in $100 increments until it reach our high bid. They started the bid at our high number.
Dear Stan,
There was a pre-bid for the item by another bidder for $3,300. You enter a pre-bid of $3,500. The auctioneer started the live auction at the next increment of $3,400 which was the covered by your $3,500 pre-bid. There were no other bids, so the item closed at $3,400.
If you have any other questions, please let us know.
Regards,
Kelly
Work very well, no problems at all. Would use it again. Thanks Scott.
Glad you had a great experience Scott.
Haven't heard anything yet on what I bought
Would kind of like to go get it
Jacob, please check you spam/junk folder to make sure the invoice did not go in there. If you have not received an invoice, please reach out to Michael Wegener Implement Inc, at 402-923-1160 to let them know.
Everything went great it was easy to bid and communicate with the seller
Pat glad you enjoyed your experience.
My main concern with internet auctions is you often have to blind bid and "assume" the condition of an item based on it's age, operating hours when available, and a few pictures. Would be nice to have a video demonstration operation of equipment, background info such as who owned the equipment and how it was used (e.g. Rental, farm, construction, landscaping, government, etc.) and a disclosure of any known events in the life of the item (e.g. Flood, fire, etc.) and a disclosure of known issues.
Easy to bid and watch. Works great when you can't make it to live auctions.I will use it again in the future for sure!
Thanks Jeremy - glad you liked the ease of the site.
Email contact information on site isn't correct. Auction company doesn't answer the phone. Multiple useless emails over transportation! This shouldn't be a hard process, buy something at an auction, receive an invoice, pay said invoice, and pick up the piece of equipment. Pretty much 24 hours after purchase and we aren't at step 2 yet. So much for an easy transaction.
Good. Need more information so that I could bid on more items. When an old generator is up for sale and has no info on the KW or size and type of motor, I am unable to bid. I could have bought two of the larger generators had the info been included. Roy
