I was not furnished with the round baler monitor on my purchase. It was late in the day and hectic. The baler had instructions wax crayon written on the baler cowling that the control monitor was in the office. I have informed Chalker's Auction of the circumstances and hope to have correct resolution.

Crenshaw auction…I had prebid on three items, rear tires and wheels, front tires and wheels and a set of forklifts. All for a JD tractor and loader. I won the rear tires and the fronts got a little too expensive for me so I let them go. My problem was, my prebid for the forks was $400 on Thursday for a Saturday auction. So, a bid for $100 was used to start the auction then my bid $200, again someone for $300 was used and then my prebid of $400. In my mind I had won the auction only to hear the auctioneer call a bidder number of an on site bidder. I've emailed them twice with no response. I know this isn't a big ticket item, but what if it were? The prebid wasn't acknowledged at all and that is not just wrong, but very aggravating.

It seems to me that you're bidding process is not able to keep up with the auctioneer as he would be asking for a price that was not even on the bid platform yet. I noticed this several times throughout the auction so it wasn't an isolated incident or a lull that we had went through.

Everything went well until the second day of the auction. I did the test bid and everything worked well until about 1/2 way through the sell I bid on something once them equipment facts disabled my bid button had to call in and was told it was some kind of thing that thought it was a fraudulent bid. Took a few minutes to get it resolved but I missed several items while it was being reset.

I placed a pre bid before auction with Equipmentfacts and also called on site auction company in Missouri because i was concerned how bidding worked, on site auctioneer reassured me he didn't know what my high bid was. It so happened i ended up watching on site auction take place via internet. On line my high bid was 15,000 and someone else had bid 9,000 on line. On site auctioneer started out at 9,000 and very rapidly rose to 15,000, my high bid and said sold and going to Kansas. It appeared that the Equipmentfacts representative informed the auctioneer what my high bid was. Like mentioned the bid rose extremely fast, it hardly seemed logical someone else was bidding. I hope corn head I'm purchasing is worth my high bid. It felt like there was no contending bidder and i was very rapidly bidding against autioneer. I also purchased an 24,000 Haybuster processor approximately a year ago from same big auction company in Missouri and it appeared the same thing was possibally going on and raised questions in my mind. My advice is do not place high bids on Equipmentfacts and rather bid on line live if you can't make it to sale. I like bidding only on Auction time and then goofy things are lot less likely to happen. Long and short of the matter it appears that Equipmentfacts representative was working for the auctioneer in Missouri and not for me the buyer using their services. Oh well, if cornhead JD 612C is a good head after i've driven 390-400 miles, all will be well.

I like the function and interface of Equipment Facts. Auction experience was good and bidding was easy. While looking at items during the auction I could not find a way to make photos larger. While bidding some items would require a huge jump to the next bid, maybe this is the auctioneer doing this but it's a big deterrent to making the next bid. Overall I like Equipment Facts and I have recommended it to friends and family

I wish there was a way to enter my own amount rather than what ever amount the auctioneer sets. Also I saw several online participants that entered a starting bid but the auctioneer didn't call them out.

Thank for for the feedback! We'll let the seller know but the auctioneer controls the sale of the items, even if an online bid is made he doesn't have to accept it or may choose accept the floor bid instead.

At the MGD auction January 21,2025 I had the winning bid of $******* on item #1665. The auction video showed a John Deere 6400 tractor with a front end loader. Upon reviewing the winning bid information, the photos showed a tractor without a loader. I contacted Matt at MGD to rectify the situation. He offered to sell me the tractor for an additional $2500 with the loader shown in the video. We believe we should have gotten the tractor with the loader they showed during their auction for the winning bid price of $17,500. We were unable to pay the extra $2500, so Matt said he cancelled the sale. Today I received an invoice for the tractor. Hopefully MGD will rescind the invoice. Up side, they admitted it was their fault. Down side we didn't get the machine we won the bid on with the loader.

Thanks for the feedback Wesley, we'll let the seller know. Not sure of the circumstances but some rural auctions can be subject to internet issue on occasion.

The bidding was done well, and the speed was really fast. The Auctioneer was really fast working through lots.

One issue I had, when in the final bidding stage of the bid between myself and another bidder, 4/5 times the floor bidder won. I was hitting the bid button, the auctioneer would wait 3-5 seconds before selling the item. When floor bidder was high bidder, he would wait 2 seconds and sell the item. I was bidding, and hit the button, but the auctioneer sold it to the floor bidder. The first one i thought, well i better bid faster. After the second one, i couldn't hit the bid button any faster. Missed out on 4 items this way that I was bidding higher on.

Thanks Klayton! Unfortunately the auctioneer is likely more responsive to the live bidder since they're right there with them.

Be careful bidding online
January 23, 2025

Be careful bidding online. Once you press the "bid" button sometimes the bid amount changes from the amount you intended to bid.

We appreciate the feedback! It's possible with bid could change with a floor bid accepted but the software itself doesn't automatically adjust your bid, a clerk would do that manually.

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, bidding in a mobile environment can be difficult to see everything depending on the auction layout.
