I reserved a standard SUV in Florida to drive home to Illinois. Upon arrival, there was a compact SUV for me. I declined as my son and our luggage wouldn't fit. Another customer was returning an economy SUV, so they "flipped" it for me in under 10 minutes. It was only after I arrived back at our condo I realized there were other mechanical issues. I tried to contact the number listed for a replacement car, but was connected to someone who did not speak English and I couldn't understand a thing being said so I ended up having to keep the SUV. The AC would randomly turn to heat, where we'd have to roll the windows down driving. The cruise sensors would randomly work, so the last 6 hours I had no cruise. The key fob had a crack in the plastic and was falling apart. Upon return, I wished to discuss these with the agent in Illinois. He mumbled how I'd need to contact the agent I rented the car from. That was it. He took the keys and shrugged his shoulders saying I had to call the Florida pick up location. Why? The car is in Illinois now and I'm at an Enterprise office, but the customer is expected to continue dealing with your companies vehicle issues? I've rented solely with Enterprise for 15 years or so but next time will do some shopping around and won't be using Enterprise any longer.
Rental Jeep was on empty when we picked it up. Not on 1/4 gas tank but actually empty (have photos).

Roach infestation on a 2024 blue jeep in the San Juan (Carolina) enterprise location.
Big issue with our luggage and bags. Returned rental off early (wanted to return earlier but we were on the west side of the island in Rincon). Had to use very expensive Uber ride-share for rest of trip. (To hotel, to eat, to airport. This has never happened before. This location has great service and professional employees though.
From reversing on line to pick up and drop off. Perfect! The car was clean and ready to go. Great work to the team on 102nd and Glisan location.
I rent from the Hazleton branch usually at least twice per month. I have no complaints at all on anyone who works here. Every associate and I mean everyone, is always kind, accommodating, and usually has a smile on their face. They always give me a decent selection of vehicles I prefer to drive.

We were traveling out of town and had commitments therefore I was just happy to get a car. But I have noticed a downward spiral in the vehicles available. I did not receive the vehicle class I reserved nor the options that I reserved. The vehicle that I did receive was a downgrade, it had a broken middle Consol, and the check engine light went on. During our travels I felt trapped and what could potentially be an unsafe vehicle, I had my family with me so it was very stressful and the whole time I was worried that this car might break down or worse. I did not pay for that experience I feel very unsatisfied.
It seems through observation and from what I have heard from other enterprise rental locations that there is a shortage of vehicles therefore the company needs to make sure that vehicles are distributed equally throughout the country and if there are not enough vehicles the company needs to invest in more vehicles and ensure that the vehicles that are available or safe and have reliable mechanics to make sure that gets done.

The car I rented was in great shape and ran well. The people at the counter were friendly, helpful, and great to deal with. This is the second time I have rented from Enterprise and will continue to do so!

It was very easy to rent from Enterprise while my car was being repaired. I was picked up at the repair shop and when my car was ready I was able to leave the car there for pickup. Really easy!
It was nice staff was able to accommodate my last minute reservation; however, a few employees appeared annoyed and frustrated when closing out my rental and providing shuttle service.

I have been renting with Enterprise for years and they have never let me down. Their cars always run well and are always clean inside and out! I may only rent two or three times a year but I am always treated like a star! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and always cheerful. I know I can count on them to have my car ready when I arrive so I can be in and out in minutes!
