Arrived too late for Christmas, so following the company's instructions, I sent it back. It was returned to me because the airline rejected the package siting battery inside. So now I am out the cost of the device plus the $50 postage.
Careful, they will up your order upon checkout and make it impossible to action a return in the 30 day window.
The device works ok but not worth the headache of dealing with the company. There are plenty of translators out there, go with a different company.
This is a company that harvest emails online, then they go spammailing you with everythime another email account, so you cannot block this they use different emails and this change everytime. Next step is they will reply to this review and ask for your email, telephone number and reference number of your order, but we dont want to share our private details to this company after a while you get a mail from trustpilot to verify your detail, as you dont share your details they remove your review. They have my mail adres already and that is enough.

I thought I was going to get a great deal on this Enence product...instead it has been a nightmare. I tried to cancel the order as soon as it went through. I saw it was going to cost ALOT more than I anticipated. Then, when I saw that, I immediately, wishing minutes tried to cancel the order...No luck, they said the order had been shipped already...Couldn't believe that, as I had just ordered it minutes before. So then I write and say I will want a refund. That ws a joke too. I didn't realize it was going to cost me almost the price of the product to ship it back to Germany!. I don't recommend this company at all.
I ordered one translator and they charged me for 4! I realized their mistake 2 second after order was placed. I immediately called snd successful Then I emailed customer service to cancel my order. I got following
'Your order has already been processed in our state-of-the-art, automated warehouse, and we regret to inform you that modifications to the order are no longer possible. We will ship it as soon as possible.'
Don't buy it. The translator is not standalone. It requires your phone data and an App to use it. They promise a 30 day return. The catch is they make you return it to Germany. Postal companies cannot return internationally using air given the battery. Enence refused to provide an address within Canada that would enable me to return the device. I've emailed them multiple times with no response. I've phoned them multiple times. They never answer only leaving you to listen to music until you hang up. I'm out the money I spent but hopefully this review helps someone not spend the money. Review their fine print.
November 2024 - Within an hour of the order going through, they wouldn't cancel it and now won't respond to return them. Been trying to return since early December. No response. Do not buy!
Ditto: practically impossible to return; must be returned to Germany; my cost for the product, 2 translators, $138. Cost to return to Germany, $77! Return address on the package was NY. Why then, does it have to be returned to Germany? The included instruction "manual" lists a US phone number in Eureka, CA, which is out of service, and the email address given is also invalid. I had to go back to the website to try to contact someone about returning the product. "The digital gift": A recipe book! Why did I want to return the translators? Ditto: You must use your phone along side in order to translate, BUT only IF you're near a router. Even when I had my unlimited data phone next to the device, the translator wouldn't function if I wasn't near a router. So it is falsely advertised that it works without internet connection. It absolutely needs to be close to i'net. Doesn't work if you're traveling. If you ARE near a router, the translator seems to do an adequate job, as noted by the responses of the people we were trying to communicate with. But generally, not a good product. The Enence site does not have a way to post a review on their site!
We had ordered two on Black Friday (2024) not realizing it was in US dollars. Called them right away to cancel, but then realized they had charged us for four! Marlon at customer service told us he would cancel the order, call the warehouse and send us a confirmation email. We did not get that so we called them back. They said it was too late and we would have to go through the trouble of returning them. There is no way they could've shipped it within the five minutes we called them! Very disappointed with this company and would not buy anything from them.
SCAM. Don't do it. Made the mistake of ordering from EcomLT LLC the translators. Minutes after realized it was junk and called to cancel. Minutes later! The rep accepted my cancellation said it would be refunded but REFUSED to issue a cancellation Confirmation ID. I also followed up with a cancellation request by email. The following day, I rec'd, "I'm sorry, your order has shipped email", unbelieveable. Now to return, impossible, beware! Can't reached them, return at own expense to GERMANY. Invoiced in TN, shipped from IL, but you pay return postage and fee to return to GERMANY. Scam, shady, dishonest company. I am seeking the help of PayPal to refund this huge mistake. A simple return has become impossible and cost more than the product, what a scam of a business. There is no way it sent before I cancelled and the rep must have simply lied to me, indicating it was cancelled. Been a headache. Stay away, much better options out there. Don't fall for this scam.
I was excited when I purchased this product because I was hoping to use it on a trip abroad in February, however the device makes a horrible loud "chirping" sound when you engage it to speak, and then again when it disengaged when you're done speaking. I've been trying to return it since the first day I received it and keep getting the run around. VERY DISSATISFIED!
I ordered 1 and they charged me for 4.I spoke to a CS agent within 5 minutes of realizing what they did, she said she fixed it but I was still charged for 4. I have sent emails to them since and I have still not recieved any answers, but have still not had the charge reversed and fixed. I did get an email saying my order is on the way though. Terrible terrible service... don't deal with these people. They are a scam.
Just like everyone else intended to but 1 they charged for 4. Called to Cancel immediately and realized they were crooked when they knew exactly what happened and offered free warranty to continue transaction for 4. Received items in 4 days TRACKED when was estimated to take 3 weeks. Now I'm supposed to PAY to ship to Germany when product came from New York.

I then looked into the company and discovered many people have had the same experience. I disputed the ordeal with my bank, and now they're telling me the company is legitimate. I will be out $231.00 when it was supposed to be 79.95. I guess I'm stuck. I want to make people aware of the scam before they fall victim.
I like many other victims ordered one translator, was immediately billed for four. I called their company and was told they would call me back the next day. When they did call they informed me the order was already processed, and there wasn't anything they could do. I did receive the four units and I had already put a stop payment. I emailed them a bunch of similar complaints, and now they want proof I only ordered one; which is impossible. Don't purchase anything from the fraudulent comapany.

I responded that Amazon the most efficient logistics company on the planet cannot process orders that fast and to send me my money back. They also said as soon as a tracking number was uploaded they would send it to me, So much for their commitment!
Technology continues to advance and this product is the best of all, it translates in a precise and concise way. Now I have no problem communicating with people on trips or having fears that they will not understand me, I recommend it.

I wanted to return some translators purchased and the address to return is in Lithuania- it costs about $500 for shipping! However, goods were sent to me from a warehouse in New York. I called and tried to reach a solution with Enence but was told "I'm sorry but unfortunately the merchandise must be return to Lithuania." What a deterrent for customers to bear the loss because returning is very costly! And the post office told me the address they have in Lithuania is listed as suspicious. Be careful - this company is not reliable - not purchasing from them ever again.
Product does not match functions and their customer service consists of one person and she refers you to a form on the website that is useless. There's no such thing as a refund, even after complying with all their policy requirements. Not helpful at all
