The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to perceived deceptive practices regarding refunds and subscription management. Many users express frustration over the lack of suitable matches and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of wasted time and money. Customers frequently highlight inadequate customer service, with limited access to support and automated responses exacerbating their concerns. While a few users mention positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a need for improved transparency, better quality control of profiles, and a more responsive customer service approach.

Fake site with bots, trolls and 100% fake profiles. All these pretty girls you see available in you area will be gone when you sign up and pay. I hardly got any meaningful letters on Eharmony, just a couple of non-sense letters from obvious scammers. Of course, I am not entitled to a refund, just like everyone else because it's a dishonest and fraudulent site.
Disgusted to find that when I wanted to cancel my 24 month subscription after 2 months as I found I wasn't using the site, they wouldn't let me and wanted me to keep paying for the next 22 months, even though I wasn't going to use the site and requested several times that they delete my account as they don't give you the option on the site. I'm currently seeking legal advice. Nowhere on the welcome email, FAQs or subscription details on the account does it say that the subscription can't be cancelled. They've quietly hidden it in the T&C where you'd never spot it because... what kind of dating website has a lock-in contract?! Avoid at all costs.
I should have followed my gut when I realized that they do not allow you to see options before signing up because there is a reason... terrible options. There were very few people in my area and there are a lot of scammers on this site also. Once I signed up and realized that the options were not good, I asked to cancel and get my money back, but once you sign up you are stuck. I would highly recommend staying away from this service.
I am amazed by the site. I am a kind intelligent woman. Looking for an intelligent. Kind, honest man. The worst site I have ever been on! The men are uneducated, immature, slovenly. I am an accepting person. I have no set criteria of how someone should look other than to be presentable. If someone reaches out to you and you don't get back to them right away it could be because you have a very busy life. Or that you don't check very often. This goodbye response that is used is such a childish option. Grown men who's egos are so fragile that if you don't respond within 30 minutes to an hour they must get rid of you. This is the absolute worst site I have ever been on. If I hadn't been required to pay for a certain chunk of time I would've already deleted my information. Nice women looking for an educated accomplished kind nice men should definitely not be here.
It's a crack head business, absolute scam and rip off! They have taken to misleading their customers, using fake photos, bots, encouraging all kinds of scammers. There is no background check. Scammers are never banned. They have made several attempts to put unauthorized charges on my bank account. Cancelling your membership is a real challenge. So just avoid this site, it's not worth a minute of your time!
I recently got eharmony. My kids signed me up for this because I had gone through a divorce, and they wanted to set me up. They did this without permission, contacted eharmony very next day, because clearly in there ridiculous policy it says can be cancelled within 3 days with a bunch of hoops to jump through. Anyways they denied my refund because I live in mass. What the hell does living in a certain state have to do with my refund, if eharmony claims they are there for help u find love, shouldn't all eharmony customers be treated the same lol. This is by far the worst dating site out there, it is the exact same thing as free ones trust me don't waste your money. On top of it they r ridiculously expensive over 100 dollars for there cheapest package lol just trash. Owner beware!
I signed up for EHarmony and immediately regretted it. You cannot see when a user was last online and even though it might look like you have a ton of matches, most of them aren't active! A friend of mine signed up 5 years ago wasn't able to delete his profile and GUESS WHO I WAS MATCHED WITH. He hasn't been on it in 5 years! This is misleading for a company to charge so much and hide behind their disclosure of "we don't guarantee the quality of your matches". EHarmony is actively scamming people by leaving up fake, inactive profiles so that it appears as though there is lot of potential to match and meet but that isn't the case at all! Look up their reviews on the Better Business Bureau and you will see!

No no no! Never ever use eharmony. Total scam, total ripoff, total let down. Watch a live experience here.

Dating profiles were limited and the quality of participants left much to be desired. Don't waste your money! Use free sites like bumble, tinder, FB. Heck, even Match has better outcomes than eHarmony!
I don't suggest eHarmony to anyone! Do not waste your time, especially your money! If you sign up as a regular user, you can't see anyone's pictures because they're purposefully blurred and you can only message someone once. However, if you'd like to pay, you will be LOCKED-IN on a 6 MONTH account. I tried cancelling only after 2 days, realizing I wasn't a huge fan of this website and nope, you're permanently locked in for 6 months, having to pay over 200 dollars. I e-mailed them explaining my issue and thoughts and they wished me luck and basically told me to be on my way... that they wouldn't do anything for me. So I told them that I'll be going on every social media platform and warning everyone of their lack of satisfaction to their customers and their fraudulent practices. Absolutely disgusting behavior. Do NOT sign up.
I wouldn't bother wasting money on this service. Most of my contacts were deleted by security, the remainder were just weird. I had so few contacts anyway that it didn't merit the time.
Eharmony is the WORST dating website I have ever tried, and when I tried to cancel they said I was past my trial period. There was only 14 people withing my 15 mile search! Awful site, awful customer service, and awfully expensive! Three strikes you're out!
Watch out, I decided after one day the service wasn't very good for me and lots of mismatched men that I am not interested in, emailed to cancel and was told too bad - now paying for 6 months on a service I don't want. They seem to be more money focused than customer satisfaction
This company should be pushed right out of business. They advertise for a free trial? But they run you through their whole system getvyour card info, then charge your account ASAP. When you try to cancel they will not answer your calls or emails until then have made sure your card run the charges. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM...
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY...
First of all the membership is to expensive. 2nd of all the dating site is useless unless you live in a State or City with a larger population. And if you want to cancel before your membership is up... you will not get refunded for the remaining months you had left. The shortest membership for me was 6 months only and hated it after the first month. Do yourself a favor and save your money and dont waste your time.
Eharmony is a phony site! I don't know what kind of superman or Brad Pitt or Rockfeller you must be to get at least two or three real letters there! I've got none of them. Customer service guys balk at cancelling my membership and they want to keep charging me for a year. I just want to tell everyone: avoid Eharmony, it's not worth a minute of your time!
I was last on eharmony a few years ago. I don't know if it's improved. You have to answer dozens of questions and it is not a dating site. It seems to tout itself as a relationship site only. I think you HAVE to date someone before youg et into a relationship. I was on the site for a few weeks and had one person contact me and nothing further happened. I have no idea why. Did not even get a bite. And eharmony is the most expensive of all the dating sites. There was NO REFUND. I'd signed up for three to six months if I recall and didn't even use it a month. Poor policy.
I live in a city of 1.5 million people. For some, that's a lot and to others, not so much. Regardless, I assumed (incorrectly) there would be plenty of matches, so-to-speak, given the size and being a baby boomer. NOT a chance. I've widened the scope of possibilities and in 2 month, have received 8. One would think and so I thought, I'd get some matches each day or a a few each week... What a waste of money and time. I even wrote them a note inquiring. I was sluffed off with their standard form letter... widen your search... a bunch of bunk. NOT impressed. I would never recommend this site to anyone.
Number one i shouldnt have to pay hundreds to just talk to people like hello and if you have questions there is no customer service really
Shortly after my membership I had challenges getting into my account. I spent an hour on chat trying to get it to work, they said they could only change the password and I would not have access for 7 days. Before the 7 days was up they blocked my account due to "security" issue. I made it clear via chat that I did not want the service due to the problems. After they blocked it, I was tired of dealing with them and getting nothing in return. They charged my account $139 for renewal, after they blocked me and me telling them I wanted a refund for the service I wasn't getting. They continue to just hide behind e-mails and "customer service" jargon without assisting me other then quoting "terms".
Answer: EHarmony is over rated and it's a lot of mumbo jumbo... If you're going to pay for a site match.com is set up much better and for a free site plenty of fish is really a nice site... BillyPrewitt.com
Answer: No. They won't refund you.
Answer: On your profile where you get asked questions like whats your fav movie and so on. Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
