The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to perceived deceptive practices regarding refunds and subscription management. Many users express frustration over the lack of suitable matches and the prevalence of fake profiles, leading to a sense of wasted time and money. Customers frequently highlight inadequate customer service, with limited access to support and automated responses exacerbating their concerns. While a few users mention positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment suggests a need for improved transparency, better quality control of profiles, and a more responsive customer service approach.

Watch the offers that they have bc One Payment option for 24 months, no is really one they billing you 3 or 4 payments. Is a fraud
Absolute crooks. They mislead you into thinking you're signing up for a month and there's a 3 day grace period but then charge you for a whole year worth hundreds. When I contacted them immediately about this while the transaction was still pending, they said no cancellation, no refund. They said the 3 day grace is only good in a couple states and didn't care about the fact I couldn't afford the over $200 year membership. I thought I was purchasing a month. They are very unethical. Absolute crooks! They steal peoples money. Shut them down!
There is a petition with change.org to get them to change their policies so people don't get screwed over like they are now. I just signed it. For all my fellow ripped off people, go check it out.
Very useless website
They would rather you match up with 70 year olds if you're 20 just to say there are matches
BEWARE! I canceled my auto renewal only to discover it was turned back on and I was charged hundreds! This site is a money hungry scam!
Do not sign up for it. First of all you're roped into a scam where your supposed matches are actually mismatches. Second of all, the matches are people who either don't use the site anymore, or planted to rip you off. Your scope is small and you're not able to refine your search at all. With said frustration, here's the pain. When you go to cancel your subscription and not auto renewal it, you're going to be still billed for everything. Meaning, that left over money for said subscription, they're going to bill you for even though you didn't renew it. You're going to be up a creek without a paddle because they have a non existent customer service, but yet they hound you for your fees.
I was a new customer and was filling out my profile when a question came up about how I feel about climate change! I was thinking WTF? My feelings on climate change are of NO consequence to finding someone and I am just afraid that eHarmony might use this information for political activism and either try to get me to join their fight or shame me. NO WAY! I contacted eHarmony to completely delete my account!
Signed up for what I thought was a trial and found out I was locked in for 1 year. There were no one in my area period so I wanted to cancel and they would not let as they don't guarantee anything but to take your money!
Never mind that their prices are more expensive than other dating sites, but what pissed me off more was no monthly option for membership. You get to ONLY choose 6 months, 12 months, or 24 months embership! Free membership only is a childs game, and others photos are blurre out. Money hungry a bit?! I had over 20 messages in 1 day, but because I could not afford to pay the 6 months, I cancelled it! Customer service never got back to me to see if I can at least pay for 2 months membership, which still cost me over $120! Shame on the owner!
Many of the people have the same experience, they don't refund money, they just keep it even after telling you they will refund your subscription it will not happen.
Bunch of thieves.
Eharmony has the worst customer service you can imagine. The company itself is manipulative and attempts to con you at every turn. Never use this site.
They mislead you into believing they have people in your area, then use bots and fake profiles.
Horrible company, all they care about is money and scamming people.
Easy way to loose money and all the matches ( if they are ones, not really) are in other continents, pretty far away and the account chancelation impossible
See these customer complaints and petition to have them removed from Australia https://chng.it/rBs9M4pDCF
I was on their site for quite awhile and never made a connection. They either sent a message then wouldn't respond or wouldn't respond when I sent a message. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
It's a joke I spent less than a day actually maybe 20 minutes at the most and paid $70 which they refused to refund me and then are trying to charge me another $270 all of their responses are generic it's such a scam
They don't care if their "system" works for you or not. If you want to cancel their policy is FU, pay us...
They are thieves. They misrepresent their so-called 50% discount on the first month of their Premium package for $17.95, then $35.60 for the remainder of the year. That is, until you click the subscribe button, and there they had PayPal as an option the first time I attempt this (which disappeared after I called them), then noticed they changed the amount instead to $103.20 for four monthly installments. And you had to click "yes" to this agreement or no sale. Then they took away the PayPal option, and bumper the price up to $22.95 the first month, then $45.90 after. And likewise, on their subscription page they demanded to charge $120.49 for four months. That's quarterly, not monthly! Talk about a ruthless, heavy-handed dirty trick. I took screenshots, and called customer service. And unless eHarmony hires only folks with thick Indian accents, they claimed their office was in L. A. Yeah, right... When I asked them about this deception, they said that deal isn't for US customers. And you know what? I didn't see anything on their website that said anything about a US exclusion from their 50% off deal. They are just a bunch of liars and cheats. Point-blank. Don't throw your money away. They are vile, greedy, and rotten to the core. Stealing money from people who just want to find someone to love. Sub-human. Thoroughly disgusting. Soulless opportunistic jackals.
This is the worst online dating site. Not only are 80 recent of my matches without photos and 99 percent with completely opposing political views, today I got a match with a porno profile photo! Two hour after reporting it, it is still there. Several of my matches have been blocked for being fake profiles. I could tell immediately. None of my matches have been slightly suitable. Customer service is non-existent, and the tech is difficult to navigate. Don't subscribe! They take a lot of your money for absolutely nothing, except frustration and disappointment!
This website is truly terrible. For me to write a review it was really bad. I made the mistake by paying for a year instead of doing a month to see if it was worth it and it is NOT. Please do not waste your time or money joining this website. You will be disappointed and unhappy. It's so bad I will let them keep the money and still delete my account.
Eharmony is awful. I canceled my membership after 2 days! They proceeded to charge me the following month and when I talked to customer service, they told me I'd be charged for 2 more months because I didn't cancel on time... absolutely terrible customer service! Would not recommend this app at all.
Answer: EHarmony is over rated and it's a lot of mumbo jumbo... If you're going to pay for a site match.com is set up much better and for a free site plenty of fish is really a nice site... BillyPrewitt.com
Answer: No. They won't refund you.
Answer: On your profile where you get asked questions like whats your fav movie and so on. Replace any answers you have already left with offensive language which in turn will violate their terms and conditions and they will have no option than to close your account. As for getting a refund good luck.
Answer: I called my credit card company because I cancelled within the three day grace period. Eharmony tried to say I had waited too long and therefore would be no refund. My credit card company disputed the charges, my account was credited and I was just notified that the dispute has been approved. No more eharmony charges. Hoe things work out for you.
Answer: You can't opt out. You are locked for the whole duration of your subscription even if u dont use it anymore they will charge ur visa regardless untill ur contract expires. I have to spend 11 more months to a site I cant use coz Im a transgender woman and no man in there wants me.
Answer: Well I have but I No longer on those sites anymore because they are scammers of course and I was on match truly.com and I deactivate my account off there as well but however sometimes I register on that website match truly.com even though I'm No longer a member on that website anymore because I still see the same lady Anna I'd Number is 60780729 and she's still online right now just like any other ladies you see on that site so I go on there just to waste their time and use abusive behavior against them to teach them a lesson and I don't pay money for that so that's why if you Noticed just pay close attention to the lady Anna on match truly.com and you will see her on wishdates.com and many other dating sites so I'm just tracking these websites down and you can see the ladies are Not real and can you tell me what Normal person would stay online 24 hours a day and seven days a week that's Not a Normal person that's a Networker and they like to make all kinds of excuses for themselves so don't listen to Nonsense about what they say because if you keep talking to these fake ladies they will Robb you out of your money so pretty much wasting your time because you are Not getting anywhere but a dead end and believe me I know what I'm talking about because I was on that website for two years and believe me they are phony and so is the customer support they are fake and they think they are very intelligent human beings and they think they can manipulate people so just watch yourself and be careful because I'm still seeing the same ladies on that website today from two years ago they are Not real and they are Not looking for anyone
