Zero Support

If you book, you better hope you don't need their support after the fact. Called several times, their hold message said a wait time of 5 minutes. First call 20 minutes no answer, second call 40 minutes no answer. No email, no online chat, only a number they do not answer. Airline cannot assist until 24 hours to go direct around them.

Searching for a reasonably priced flight aint what it used to be. Prices have rocketed what with having to pay for seats and luggage. I was so amazed when I came across your flights. Easily the cheapest!

They proved you with good price but with ABSOLUTELY ZERO SERVICE.
That is what you pay for. For whatever you decide to book with them. You need to cross the finger. When someone went wrong on the agent side, flight/hotel/car rental. You are trapped. You wasted your time and provide a lot of personal information to beg for a refund. In the end, they were not able to refund you even the another party made mistake or so. Please think 4 times before you book with them.

Since booking our flights from Naxos to London we have received countless emails telling us that we need to contact them in order to make sure we still have flights. Each time we have contacted them and spent at least 15 minutes on a phone que. Then when we try to check in we receive an email telling us we had not responded to an email (completely untrue) and our tickets are cancelled.
Absolutely disgraceful service. Do not book with this company unless you want to spend ages on the phone and have no flight at the end!

I purchased a round-trip purchase on eDreams for my friend to travel. When she reached the airport she was told the booking was never confirmed, and to complete she was forced to purchase a separate, one-way ticket directly from the airline. After considerable effort dealing with their customer service department, eDreams agreed to make a partial refund - less than 50% of the cost they charged me for round-trip ticket, and far less than what my friend paid for the separate ticket. Their business model is theft, pure and simple.

They Canceled my flight at last minute and won't give refund, can't contact them tried calling to no avail, no reply to emails, DO NOT BOOK with e dreams. Scams...
I tried to speak to their manager Mr. Peter Smith - the most stupid manager ever... He just dropped off my call...

I got a good itinerary, price and overall booking experience was great.

However, I could not pull up my reservations on the airline sites. Had to chat with support to get a new code for one of the airlines, and for the second one I was told that my flight was booked with CitizenPlane. CitizenPlane FAQ shows their conf code is a group booking and will not show on the airline site, I cannot do online check-in, etc.

I am glad I paid the extra $11 for Standard support or this could have been an even bigger hassle. The Bot that is used to start the chat before you go to a human should be more forgiving and direct to a human sooner, I had a very niche issue but there was no way to avoid jumping through the bot's hoops before a human came in to the chat to help. The human was very helpful for the one airline, yet the concern remains

A) Why did I get an incorrect airline reference
B) Why do I have to deal with CitizenPlane when I booked with eDreams
C) Why do I have to trust but cannot verify whether the airline actually has my booking for the CitizenPlane flight

THIS WILL COST YOU AVOID!

Save yourself the stress and book directly with the airline or with a reliable company.

It seems eDreams have a tendency to book your flight with a randomised email which becomes an issue when checking in. You will the receive a message to contact the airline as your email does not match with your booking reference.

This is what bit us as it meant we had to check in at the airport costing us £55 each, a standard airline charge for check in.

Having called them to receive a refund for this charge, they started making up all sorts of excuses, even though we were told that the randomised email was due to a technical error.

Long story short after multiple emails and phone calls back and forth. Save your self the agro this is not a credible company.

Whatever you do stay away from this company. They are a scam. I paid extra for exchangeable tickets which they refused to honor and would not return my phone calls. I challenged it through my credit card company and they lied and stuck me with the charge.

Shocking SCAM

Since 2022 I am still waiting on a refund for my cancelled flight. I have been in contact many times and I am always told that the airline did not pay them back the money, so I am not getting my refund. This is shocking in itself and in customer service. There seems to be no one at all that is willing to look into this. After mail and trying to get someone on the phone, chats, I am not even put in contact with a manager. What kind of a scam are you running by keeping money of your customers and hoping they give up to claim what is theirs... All customers beware of this!

Heads up out there! It looks like a great price! Beware the charges for a seat on the plane. And I still haven't heard back on if I can check a bag or what that fee will be. I booked anyway. Wish me a pleasant travel experience?!

Hidden service fees

They do not include several service fees (including their own) in the "Final Total - includes all taxes and service fees" button. You continue with your purchase, and not until after is your order confirmed do they reveal the real price you paid. Flat out refuse they did anything wrong over the phone or email, and eventually stop responding to you. Stay far far away.

Unpaid refund
February 28, 2022

It's been two years since eDreams cancelled my flight and I have yet to receive my refund. I have called customer support 10+ times over the past 2 years, the waiting on the phone line is long (~1hr) and every time they tell me it will be approved within months but they have never followed through on their promises. This is very bad service, I will never fly through eDreams again.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience
I wish I had the option to give eDreams zero stars. The company is a total scam and waste of time. I cancelled a flight that had flight insurance which means I should receive a refund. I have waited over three months for this refund. I have called customer services for the past month and a half trying to get my money back. They continuously tell me to wait 24-72 hours longer for my refund because it is 'with the refund team', they're 'waiting for the airline', or 'the bank is taking too long'. I have been given one of these lines every time I speak with an employee. I do not blame customer support as they are just doing their jobs, however, the company as a whole is trying to keep my refund money and doing anything they can to slow the process down. I will NEVER use eDreams again to book a flight or any other product they sell. EDreams is a terrible company.

Bad experiance

The first problem that I was aware of was when I tried to check in online, I got this message "This booking, ------ appears to have been made through a third-party travel agent who has no commercial relationship with Ryanair to sell our flights. Therefore, Ryanair has blocked this booking".
Then when I eventually followed a verification process, The boarding ticket that I printed, stated Non-priority and no extra cabin bag that I had already paid edreams an extra €105 for. I contacted Ryanair and they said that this happens a lot with edreams and if I want to book the priority and extra bags, I will have to pay them another €105. I have already spent hours trying to resolve the issue and eventually got an auto-reply confirming the receipt of my query with case number and they will get back to you with an update.
I you want a stress-free holiday do not book with edreams.
