Complete adherence to COVID-19 safety protocol. I can't stress the if you are in the vicinity and you need rental then use the EconomyBookings in Skokie, IL on Skokie Blvd. Also there is an insurance company hassle free auto body shop across the street.
I have been to lots of Car Rental Places and this EconomyBookings location in Skokie was one of the best. Even in this pandemic the staff displayed excellent curbside customer service. I got everything I asked for and then some.
I had a great experience with EconomyBookings. The staff were very friendly. I even got a couple of upgrades for free. I would recommend Alamo to anyone who's looking to rent a car from O'Hare Airport. A bonus about the location is that returning the rental is convenient since it's 24-hours (I think this is true).
The cars were available and the rental process was fast for both pick up and return. Beautiful cars/SUVs.
The best thing I like is that you really don't need human interaction. Everything can be done on the kiosk, and declining insurance is so much easier (my credit card provides primary insurance for rental cards).

EconomyBookings also in LAX have a kiosk where you can quickly receive details about where your car is and avoid long delays waiting in a line up? Alamo seems to be one of few who seem to get when you arrive in town you don't want to waste time waiting for your rental car.

This company is a fraud - we booked a car in 2020 March but had to cancel due to COVID19. The customer service said we had two options - one is having a voucher and the other one is refund but will take 45 days. We chose refund because we do not expect to use their service anytime soon. We wanted to be considerate and not disturb them during a difficult time like this to rush our refund, so we did not call until today (2020 July) to follow up on the refund. Sounds reasonable right? However the customer service says they changed the policy (without telling us at all) that all refunds are going to be vouchers, what is even funnier is that we did not even receive a voucher from them. They do not acknowledge the promise they made back in March to refund us cash. And the customer service would not allow us to speak to a manager. We rarely leave any negative comments for any business provider, but this one is beyond our belief on how dishonest a company can be. We are reasonable people and we are totally okay with delayed refund, but stealing from your customers and hiding essential information from them are just awful and should not be tolerated in any situation.

If I could give this company a "minus 10" I would. 4 months now trying to get refund. With several e-mails proving it was coming. No less they charged my CC charged TWICE for this reservation! Last week told the refund would take 7-10 days and when I explained it's been 4 months she hung up! Keep calling back but no one would pick up and after an hour of waiting on each call-back I would get disconnected. Just now got off the phone and the representative just told me I can only get a credit for the double dipping amount! Are you kidding me? You double charged me... told me in numerous e-mails the refund was coming. And now it's a CREDIT? Why would I EVER want to re-rent from this company? Corporate in NY will be getting a letter very soon. I am beyond angry!
I booked and paid in full in January, the deal had free cancellation with a full refund if cancelled up to 48 hours prior to rental. I cancelled with ample time and was told the refund will take up to 3 MONTHS due to high volume. After 3 and a half months passed I called and they said that they changed their policy and will only issue a voucher now. They could care less when I explained that I had the email confirming a full refund.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! THEY RIPPED US OFF FOR 247.00! Kept trying to talk to get our money back... they blocked our number! DO NOT USE!
Its entirely obvious most these reviews were bought. Go ahead and try and call the contact number they list and you can tell right away this place is sketch. 2 of the 3 menus you can choose simply end the call. If you select the other it will ring for 15 minutes and then auto hang up.
And oh, the fine print. Even if you cancel immediately they charge you a cancellation fee of 75 Euros.
Seriously you are rolling dice with this site. Flipping a coin and hoping it works out.
Had a great experience with EconomyBookings at the Monreal Airport. Even got an upgraded car free of charge. Easy to check in and return car.
I have a choice of rental companies like everyone does, I have tried others but no one beats the reliability, choice of cars, friendly staff and their willingness to go the extra mile for you, the other rental companies in my eyes treat me like a number no personality to them but EconomyBookings always makes me feel welcome.
From reserving a vehicle online to picking it up and returning it the experience was great. The only wait was in line at the airport to check in at the desk.
