Our experience was great. Pick up from the airport... awesome. Quick check-in at the office and off we went in a car with a full tank of gas. Drop off was quick and easy then a free ride straight to our terminal

Do not use them! All positive reviews are formulaic and obviously fake. They are a fraudulent scam. I was told on March 14 that I would get a refund on my rental that I had cancelled well in advance. Now they're sending me threatening legal jargon about "force majeure" and sections of their terms and conditions that they reserve the right to cancel without offering a refund, but ending the message by saying that they are not refusing a refund and a plea to save the tourism industry. I really don't expect to see any money back from them.
Update: I received my refund without further communication from the company. It took 6 months, and I'm still disgusted that they tried to use the pandemic as an opportunity to intimidate me out of it. I will NEVER book with them again. STEER CLEAR! And to those still awaiting refunds, I hope you eventually get them!

Fast service at both the counter and at return. Courteous people that were both friendly and helpful.
No waiting, walked right up to the counter. Nice lady took care of me. I appreciated how quick and easy it was to rent the car. The other car rentals places had long lines but I just walked right up to the counter and was done in less than 10 min. I would definitely rent from them again!
My flight was cancelled to Cardiff and needed a one way rental to get home. Called 6 other car companies who told me they did not have a car available for one way rental. Payless got me a great deal on an SUV.
So I booked Jeep Renegade, well they offered 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for the same price! Really enjoyed the ride.
I like the fact that EconomyBookings is now in the Rental Car at O'Hare rather than offsite. Much more convenient! The customer service rep. Was very friendly and helpful, and offered several great tips regarding refueling and tolls. No problem with the car either.

Although the vehicle I rented online was not available at the time of pick, for just a few extra dollars I was upgraded to a luxury model Cadillac
I rented the GLC300, and usually when I rent nice cars they usually don't have all the options. However, this vehicle seemed to be fully loaded, apple carplay, panoramic sunroof, powered seats, climate control in front and back seats. Phenomenal car and service!

I booked a SUV rental prior to Covid-19 in March 2020 for PICK up at Atlantic City. Of course, the rental had to be cancelled and was done so once the USA went on lockdown. I called and was told that I could get cancelled, but it might be 90 days before my money would would be returned to may charged credit card. I have called *******795 on numerous occasion to get money back on card and there is MUCH difficulty getting a representative. I have call *******795 and try options #1, #2 and #3 and not only do I not get a representative but the call hangs up. Seems like it recognizes my number? It appears now that I will never see my money that was charged for the rental in March 7,2020. When I have finally got a representative after 30 minutes to an hour of trying they say that they need longer that the 90 days. Well it has now been 146 days since the reservation and NO money! I am surprise that the reviews are as good as they are on the site. It will be interesting to see if my review makes it on their site and stays on the site(I suspect not!). I most likely have 5-6 hours trying to get my money back on my card without success trying to speak with a representative. I spent 30 minute calling *******795 today pushing options #1, #2 and #3 and call rings and the call hangs up. I tried at least 15 times. What a wait of time. So, to summarize please, "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER USE THIS RENTAL SITE!" There are reviews on my screen that list the Overall Experience as #1 with same problems. So mine is not an isolated incident!. So again "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER USE THIS RENTAL SITE!"

WORLD CLASS Customer Service! We have rented from this location the past 5 years when we fly in from Rim. I have never been disappointed. The cars are always clean and reliable.
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
