I made a booking on 29/12/2020 ref number (B*******). The price showing up at the time of booking was only $111 but not showing up total amt while making payment. The invoince came up with $355 for 2 days. This was completely mis leading and $101 immeduately deducted from my bank. I tried to amend the booking but it was not allowing me to do anything. Their customer support wasnt working and I couldnt get any support. I then emailed them to cancel the booking (immediately after booking). They cancelled and emailed back. I requested for a full refund but I got a reply from one mr Nick who introduced as Sales manager and said refund is based on their cancellation policy. I then spoke to one of their customer support (Julie if I got the name correctly) and I explained my situtation. She said there was some issues with their website and already emailed their technical support. She said many customers are affected because of that. I then emailed Nick about it and I didnt get any reply. I felt like this website os operating outside New Zealand and deducting customers by giving misleading information. They will then send a huge invoice and the customers will be panic to cancel it. They are then talking about 48 hrs close to deny full refund (even if you cancel within minutes after booking). Smart bbusiness strategy! Who I can approach
to get support for consumer grievances?
I rented a car with them and also subscribed for a full coverage request. Unfortunately I had an accident and followed all the informations on the site to have the refund providing all the detais. I am still waiting fo a reply and the refund!

Follow up. After several mail they stated that payment would be made after 35 working days... The payment was supposed to be made today but I received a mail stating that "fue to some technical issues the reimbursements will be processed within 60 working days".
This is shameful!
I have no other words. I will pursue the matter with a lawyer and try to make the worst possible pubblicity on all social media!

Follow up.
In a last mail 10 days ago they announced the financial department would make the payment had "been processed on 5. 11. 2018". And also said that I would "receive the refund to your card as soon as operation between banks is completed. It can take from 3 to 28 business days, but usually up to 5 days."
Obviously 5 days have passed but nothing on the card.
My accident happened at the start of august! OF AUGUST! WE ARE IN NOVEMBER!

Despite waiting 1 hour in line for us to pick up the car we rented, they never gave it to us and they don't want to refund my money.

The car was brand new (just 250 km) clean and with full gasoline. No problem at the check out, there is a gas station just outside the car park

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
