Boeking via EconomyBookings is als eerste erg onzorgvuldig verlopen. Over 1 boeking in totaal 6 verschillende bevestigingsmails ontvangen. Daarop diversen verzoeken gedaan om te vragen wat de juiste bevestiging was. Daarover weer veel mails heen en weer gezonden. Dan daarnaast zeer slechte service van het verhuur bedrijf op de luchthaven. Wagen was in tegenstelling 20% vol wat diesel betreft. Er was zwart op wit een volle tank afgesproken. Ik werd als een hond behandeld toen ik daar een opmerking over maakte. Bij het ophalen en terugbrengen van de auto en het regelen van de papieren werd ik zeer onvriendelijk behandeld. Echt geen service gerichte man. Is beter als deze geen front office werkzaamheden meer doet want dit kost klanten. Volgende keer kiezen we voor een andere verhuurder in Portugal. Groeten. Herman

Be careful! They will direct you to scamming companies! No matter how well travelled you are, the idea is to lure you in with very low prices and scam once in with all kinds of tricks. I was referred to Delpaso in Spain. Terrible! Many customers at the desk were angry (I mean screamingly angry) and i saw a poor old man next to me getting ripped off with purposely very confusing forms and poor communication. What happened in my case - the insurance was intimidately pushed though i clearly stated to not need it. And suddenly the 2 hour rental pickup time' expired. My reservation was gone which meant no car, even though it was paid for! There was one solution: buy 325 euro insurance on a 254 rental and the whole thing would go away. Can you believe it? My son and I had time and patience, but the brutality... Outrageous! I do not deal with crooks and therefore had to walk away back to my good old corporate rental company i should have stayed loyal to in the first place. Will seek justice and money back after my vacation. But they did the same thing to a young family also, who in all fairness did not have a choice with a crying baby long waiting times and heat. They played that out too and took advantage of it. I think its evil and criminal, a shame for modern day Europe (particularly Spain) to keep these kind of companies in business. Be warned!

Asked for a simple modification for my original reservation and not only did they cancel my original reservation that I'd already paid in full but they did not refund me and rebooked me for another reservation that cost more! I has requested if it was possible to return the car one day early and receive a refund but instead face paying for this twice. Unbelievable.
