Booking a car in Catania Sicily with the question that I could return the car at 6 am. I received the confimation with Surprice cars rental and a discription how to reach this agency from the airport. But after 1hour walking around there and asking where this agency was we found some one with a transporter who brought us 5km ftom the airport at an industrial terren where nobody was. We were afraid and found out that Surprice cars was now Numberone. They asked 36 euros extra because we were to late and didn't accept to return the car at 6 pm. We refused and went back to the airport and rented a car at another acency... for the same price as booking. Never again with booking as they offer partners without knowing who are where they are. Now waiting if they will return my advance payment but this it not sure as they write. Better booking yourself directly at the airport, also there you find price offers!

I was charged Euro 30 for 1/2 tank of petrol and told to return the car empty. I do not like this in principle because one cannot return the car empty. It is a way to add a couple of Euro to the rental in free fuel for the Rental Agency. But Economybookings said that was the policy and the rental fee was attractive, so I agreed. So far so good, BUT:
• When I picked the vehicle up, it actually had less than 1/2 tank of fuel (about 7/16 in my case).
• From as empty a tank as I dared go I put in Euro 30 of fuel. This fills the tank to over 7/8 on the gauge,
When I pay for 1/2 tank of fuel, I expect to get 1/2 tank, not an excuse that "it is almost 1/2 full". When I pay Euro 30 for 1/2 tank of fuel I expect that is what 1/2 tank of fuel costs. In fact Euro 30 comes close to filling this car!
When I wrote to Economybookings about this, they did not even have the courtesy to respond. That is unacceptable.
In fact, the price was good, even with the overcharge on the fuel. But I would never rent with Economybooking again on principle. They simply do not have the courtesy to even respond to comments. This was also noted in some reviews I saw before renting from them, but I discounted them. I no longer do.
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
I booked a car withrough this group and pre booked my excess insurance but when i arrived at my pick up they would not accept my access insurance and i had to pay 18 euro a day on top of the £130 i had already paid to group booking. When I came home i sent an email to them and got a statement back not an answer but a staement quoting i could have cancelled this prepaid before i went How can you cancel something you have been sold that you may need without been aware that the car rental comapny do not accept their excess cover DO NOT USE THIS COMAPNY

B******* - Still waiting for due refund debited from my AMEX card first on the 27th November ($29.40) and then adjusted upwards to $30.53 on 29th November after YOU cancelled the booking.
I booked a rental car in Sydney using the app for Economy Bookings. The booking was confirmed and payment taken. However on arrival at the car hire company I was told there was no record of my booking by the rep at the desk. I then called the customer service number of Economy Bookings and was told there were no available cars for the class I had booked from the confirmed rental company. My phone was on speakerphone and the representative at the desk of the rental company shook his head and told me that yes they did have cars available. The Economy Bookings "customer service" rep on the phone then told me I would have to go to a different rental company in a different location (I had already got a taxi to the one I was at) AND IT WOULD COST MORE. I then declined and said I would book directly with the rental company I was already at as they had a car available. I asked if he could refund my money and he very rudely informed me it had not been taken. I told him I had checked my account and it had. He then said "Fine" and hung up the phone! Both myself and the rental company representative at the desk were utterly shocked by his rudeness and the terrible service. I urge anyone looking to rent a car to NEVER use this middle man service! I can't see that it is of any benefit to the rental companies either. Had I not been at the desk I may have thought it was their fault.
I made a car reservation for a family trip for the holidays. There was something wrong with the site when i made reservation that i didn't receive any confirmation so i made another reservation and got confirmation. It turns out the site created a reservation on my first attempt. I called customer service to cancel the 2nd reservation and was told i will get a refund. A month later i never receive any refund so i called my bank to dispute the charge. I called the car rental company to confirm my reservation and was told EconomyBookings canceled my reservation. Called customer service and i told them that my reservation was canceled and did not receive any notification about it and the rep just said how can he help me when i told him i need him to activate my reservation. The rep said no and i asked that i want a refund then. He said i need to call a different team but when i dial the number it just kept hanging up on me. This company does not have good customer service support or courtesy. If you made a reservation make sure to call the car rental company to confirm.
Only EconomyBookings work stably, it is a reliable and large company, I also like that there is always a connection when I have questions, they are solved instantly
Made a reservation ($303) that was confirmed. Two hours later, it was canceled with a reason of "UNDEFINED". UNACCEPABLE with card is charged and have to wait 45 days for refund with no reason for cancelation! Complete SCAM!
The staff member was very friendly and waited for us 1h after closing to do the check when we returned the car. The car was brand new and we got an upgrate
I always have A Great experience with EconomyBookings. I have worked with both EconomyBookings (Goshen & Elkhart). If there has ever been a problem, they do their best to correct any problems.
I pre-paid for my car through Economy Bookings to be picked up in LA 4/8/16. The instructions told me to have the airport shuttle take me to the Cell Phone Lot and America Car Rental. They said they would send a shuttle to pick me up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I saw a shuttle that I thought was from them. Was taken to Allied Rent a Car. Called America Car Rental and they said they would have as shuttle pick me up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and was told that even though I had a reservation they had no cars available! I was so angry! They said they would have a shuttle pick me up in 15 minutes to take me to the airport to rent a car (Allied Rent a Car had none available). About 30 minute later I called them back. Joseph from America Car Rental said he would pick me up in 15 minutes. He did come and I asked him to take me to my hotel room. I was able to contact Hertz who picked me up at my hotel and rented me a car. My flight got in at 10:05am and I got a car at 5pm. Neither Economy Booking or America Car Rental have given me a refund even after many calls and emails to both of them.

I rented a car with 30 days advance, before my trip and inmediatly Economy booking charged me all the payment on my credit card. Then, they confirmed that the rental car could not provide me the rental.
Its almost a month and still I do not receive any response. The reservacion was cancelled, where the money has gone?
I sent several mails still no response.
Better to rent a car personaly. THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ECONOMY BOOKINGS.

They are fraud always refunds in wallet and refund card charges is high around 60 euro. Please stay away and dont waste your valuable money here.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
