We booked EconombyBookings for our trip to Mallorca and thought we had a good deal. We decided to pay extra in EB for Full insurance coverage. We first had to wait more than 80 mins to get a place in the line as many people were there also waiting. We were told that we were not fully covered so either had to pay 1200 EUR for deposit for the car's liabilities or pay 149 EUR for full coverage... after being there for almost one and half hour you just want to leave with the car so we didn't argue that much and the person in OK REntal was very rude... to our surprise we also had to leave deposit for the gas and if the car is returned full then we were "only" gonna be deducted 30 EUR... which was not the deal we thought we got with Economy Bookings... all in all... a terrible experience...
Booked rental car in Salzburg on 15 aug got confirmation mail, 8 hrs before i got a mail stating that my booking has been cancelled. We are supposed to travel to Hallstatt region by car got cancelled due to this..
I was charged for a rental which I booked. I must have made a mistake and selected the wrong city. I could not cancel or make a reservation change as it was the weekend. I sent an email to support to cancel and change the city and no correspondence to date. This was May 16th 2022. They charged me the full amount. I have sent multiple emails to dispute this and still not a peep back. Also, I am learning I have another charge Aug 4th for the same amount. I did not book anything. I have since cancelled my card and have the financial institution investigating so I can recoup my funds. This is over $1000 CAD I have had tied up with Economy Bookings.
They are not reputable. They will become insolvent in a matter of time once the scamming catches up with them, This is absolutely deplorable. I cant even believe it!

I bought CDW coverage based on the wording they used saying the car would be fully covered. They do NOT say that their coverage is CDW in the true sense of the coverage from an auto rental company. Economy will ony cover ABOVE the CDW coverage that you buy from the rental agency. I felt this was deceptive. The wording is vague at best. That was $150 spent in error. The prices with Economy are good, generally lower than with the agenies however, when I needed customer service - that lacked severely. The company processes payments outside of the US so be careful as you will probably be charged a foreign transaction fee on top of the car rental charge.
Horrible, scam, and saddening that this is happening. Why would I be expected to have proof of flight tickets if I am not flying? Shouldn't that be a question prior to making payment to stop the reservation process?

I reserved a car at ATL for Christmas Eve the day before and even called Thrifty to see if it was legit, which they said it was, but when I went to pick up the car on time there were NO CARS! Deception! Do not use this dis-service.

This was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Our counter person (Sharhan) was professional, courteous, and patient with all my questions and concerns. The vehicle we were issued was clean, and above my expeditions (2017 Camry). We will return to EconomyBookings for our future car rental needs!
I had a good experience ordering a car from Economy Booking, company Firefly. It was a good car and good service from Fire fly at Valencia airport. I received a part of the deposited deposit, but I missed my detailed fee, which was deducted from the detailing of the deposit.
According regulations Firfly should list any charges for my order (detail).

EconomyBookings.com sell something called 'Full Coverage', but when you get to the place where you rent the car it's clear that it's a scam and that only the owner of the car can actually insure the car.
When trying to get a refund for this they just point to their T&Cs without showing any understanding of the situation.
Will not use again!
A side note is that we called the customer service and wanted to launch an official complaint and even though we called a UK number it turns out that they are in Latvia and they don't adhere to UK law at all PLUS they don't have a complaints department.
This location has provided me with the best customer service I have ever had. All of the employees at this location provide a superior customer service enviornment. I rent from EconomyBookings a lot and I have been to many locations and this one is by far the best. They are efficient, informative, and I have never seen any of them without a smile
Probably will use their service again, I do have a problem with the gap between the cost of insurance online and the insurance directly with the rental company. It os always the same story.
I choose to oay more (much more) at the front desk.
At arrival in SFO we had a very long wait -despite at least 6 counters open and operating. The rest was very fine. I got an upgrade (a larger car) and everything else run very smoothly, includoing drop off at SFO airport.

Booked through EB with Full Coverage in May for a family trip. Had a slight incident, but thought no biggie since we are covered with Full Coverage as so one thought.
Have sent already a dozen email to their Full Coverage and Support as well as phoned them for an update.
Till now there is no answer and the customer service is only there to sell.
Totally unprofessional and the WORST service I had ever encountered.

The company is very good. I have been using car rental services for more than one year. In the middle of the summer I was in Italy, I ordered a rental car from the company EconomyBookings, I was surprised by the valuable, very low prices, as for Italy, a big plus is insurance...
My choice was a four wheel drive Nissan pickup truck! Everything worked out Great with over two feet of Snow predicted the following day. I had no issues at all getting around that week, Thanks EconomyBookings!

I was linked here from SkyScanner, where I was quoted a seemingly very good value price, which was the same once I had transferred over to EconomyBookings. I went through the process paid the original amount, and as you can see in my screen shots I was told "Final Price For Rental" but once I got the email confirmation you can see I was to be charged nearly 3 times that! I luckily paid the £17 extra to cancel for free. Never again.
When arriving from my flight the renral car place I booked through them were out of vehicles. So the rental car place canceled my reservation with no problem. I send Economy bookings an email about it so they could refund my money and all I get is the same email return that they cannot find my reservation. I sent a copy of my plane ticket and reservation with the booking number so no idea how they can't. I book from this place regularly but will not anymore as I see how they treat a valued customer. I suggest not renting from them as if you have a problem you won't get a fix to it. It's been over a month and they will not even call me when I've sent my number to talk to a real person. Obviously they don't care and just want your money.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
