EconomyBooking make sure to show you "cheap prices" in order to attract customer to do the reservation from them.
In car rental, the show prices without full insurance packages, when you start to add them price increase dramatically and the worse is that full insurance package is not really full and when you take the car they inform you it's recommended to add their full insurance package! Which eventually make you pay double.
Do not use them or other 3rd party agents. Just rent directly from the known rental car agencies and take their insurance packages.
They won't refund you, they will smear you with laconic answers. It's just not worse it.
Never use this company! I booked a rental back in July and €250+ was taken but, absolutely NO rental confirmation email was sent to tell me I EVEN had a car. So, I ended up having rent from ANOTHER company. After several emails back and forth telling this company that they needed to refund my money for a non-existent reservation, I was told that because I agreed to their rental terms they wouldn't be able to refund my money. How can you agree to something you never received?
I am definitely NOT recommending economybookings.com as they seem very unprofessional and I received better service from other more reputable car rental companies.

I received email from Economybookings stating:
Your booking B******* for a total sum of 1070.79 SGD (726.33 EUR) at Chitose Airport, Japan has been cancelled.
However, my credit was charged Euro. I had tried to contact economybookings and no reply nor feedback.

Rented car from Las Vegas location for our honeymoon. Didn't realize we had to take 2 shuttle buses to get there that should've been our 1st clue. We were over charged 2 weeks after rental for smoking in the vehicle. They told us they smelled it 24 hours after we dropped off car - didn't make any sense. When you ask to talk to a supervisor - I was told there was none. As I was expressing my concerns - I was being accussed of discriminating and being bias toward the guy, WOW! This hole in the wall place is crazy. Next time rent from a well known place. Priceline mis-guided us... Lastly when I asked for documentation on policies I was told there were none. I have contacted my credit card for unathorized charges, and will follow up with the BBB!
Economy Booking has a bad way to stolen your money
I have reserved a car by Economy Booking, but at the airport, the front desk does not accept my credit due to it's prepaid. So I have booked with another company with the same card.
I have talked with Economy Booking to refund my money without benefit.
I summary, they have stolen my money.
Next step I will contact with MasterCard to stop the exploitation.
SO, my advice doesn't use Theft Company (Economy Booking) ever because they will steal your money and they don't respect you.
Absolutely disgraceful company!
My flight to Pisa was delayed by 2 hours which saw our arrival time land in Pisa after 11pm. The shop closes at 11pm which I'm OK with. The following morning I came back to the airport to collect the car and was told my "Voucher" had expired. This company ROBBED €230 of my money.

I rented a car last month for my vacation. When I got there, they said they didn't have any car, so you should rent a car at another rental company. I was really annoyed, but I had to do. And They said that I absolutely can get a refund back within few days. But I couldn't get my money back yet. And I don't know if they would refund it. Don't use this site if you want to keep your money safe.

Hired a Nissan Tiida off cutprice for my holiday last week. It was a great car, clean and tidy, ran well. Picked it up straight at the Orlando airport, didn't have to take a bus like the last company I used on the Orlando. Dropped it off back at the airport when I went home. All in all I'm very satisfied with Economybookings

I rented a car from here today and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I dealt with two of the friendliest and professional ladies that got me on the road super quick and subsequently the drop off was just as pleasant.
The price ended up doubling itself. There were things that weren't written when I paid, and a few minutes later, when I wanted to cancel the reservation, they just didn't answer the phone on their service line for hours. I never reached them. When I ended up picking up the car I booked, I discovered the place wasn't open during the time EconomyBookings said I could return it, and needed to return the car to a different city or pay for another day of rent. A horrible experience.
I have used Economybookings Name Your Price feature for booking car rentals two times with stellar results. I know that I got the best deals because I had done my research at other websites, such as Economecarrentals, Arguscarhire, Autoeurope, etc. To save money, you have to spend some time in researching other sites to understand what a "great deal" should cost. Economybookings is not going to be always the lowest but if not, it is very competitive, for car rental bookings. Economybookings is one of the best.
My fight was cancelled after the vehicle pickup time and Economy Booking will not give me my money back even though it was no fault of mine, the plane broke and they blame me, Sorry if you deal with these people nothing but a bunch of forgieners trying to get as much money from you as they can.

Used this company to rent a car with Thrifty. When I arrived Thrifty refused to rent me the vehicle under the Economy Booking reservation. I had to pay for the rental AGAIN, renting directly with Thrifty. Economy Booking will not respond to my claim for a refund. This company is unprofessional, and scam artists.
I have been a member of the EconomyBookings Rent-A-Car family for many years and again they have not disappointed me. They always are pleasant to deal with and when situations arise they are quick to resolve the issue.
I booked a Hyundai Elantra at LAX by paying 158,83 for 5days with full coverage. The confirmation notice said I don't need to pay anything at the rental car desk. However, they let me pay additional with my credit card when I got there. On my credit card bill after the day, they charged me with another name: U-saved car & truck rental $219.7. I paid a total $378.53.

I booked a car through Economy Bookings and made a prepayment of 87 USD and then arrived on the date and time at Nelly Car rental in Punta Cana and they said sorry we don't have a car for you and we don't see any prepayment. Either I take a car that is more expensive or nothing. No money back and no other car to rent. I had to call the police and went to the police station to file a complaint against Nelly Car for mistreatment and theft.

Took my money and never got back to me. I booked a car rental with economybookings and later wanted to extend the booking a few days. I called and they told me to cancel the first booking and reschedule the longer booking. He was rushing me off the phone but I felt uneasy canceling the original booking so asked him to stay on and walk me through it. Once I canceled I confirmed with him and then he realized he made a mistake. I lost my original non-refundable booking and $500. He told me to contact support and they never got back to me. I tried emailing and calling with no answer or solution. Point of story: Don't book with them, terrible customer service and poor booking experience.

I was quoted a price of $451.89 for a RAV4 toyota to which I agreed and paid(non refundable)but when I got my booking it stated that a surcharge of $130.00 will still have to be paid to Dollar rental car co. At time of pickup because car is being dropped off at different airport aprox. 100 miles away. When I arrived for pickup of car the counter was closed, was told by Dollar to take a taxi to nearby airport in Tampa at my cost which I refused(was almost midnight with wife and children and dog and still a two hour drive to hotel in Orlando. Economybookings refuses to refund my money and Capital ONe has yet to get me a refund!
They answered all my questions, made sure I was taken care of, helped me out with a problem on the vehicle I rented and made my return as quick and painless as possible when I told them I was late getting to the airport for a flight. Much appreciated EconomyBookings staff!
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
