Convenient car rental service. We booked the car before the trip to Europe on their website. Before payment we were not asked. The car was quite fresh and clean, the salon is also well-groomed. In General, not expensive and very comfortable.
I was always served nicely at this EconomyBookings station and I can only recommend them. The employees were always friendly and did a great job. I didn't have any waiting times and as far as I remember I always had cars which were almost new (under ******* km) and in really good condition. Overall I only made positif experiences at this place for their service and their cars.
I booked via economy bookings and was running late. The car hire is called Alamo in Bordeaux and its one of the worst. I was told to come next morning instead but different staff refused me when I went to pick up the car next morning claiming didn't know who told me. They insisted economy bookings needed to modify the booking to that day but economy bookings said they can't help, they can't do anything. When I asked for a manager, I was told no one is available. Avoid this company. I clamed money back from my credit card but they should pay more to cover my new car rental.
I booked a van rental through them on March 6,2020 to visit my grandmother. Due to COVID-19 nursing homes were quarantined. I cancelled my reservation on 3/13/20 and was told I would receive a full refund with 45 days. It's been 59 days and still no refund. Now when you call either of the numbers the phone just hangs up on you. These are the two numbers listed: *******795 *******384 When you email the customer service queries email and explain details you get no response. It says you will get a response of acknowledgement within a few days and that doesn't happen either. I'll have to refute the charge now. Awful, such a shaddy company!
I did not think it was going to be a great experience, however I was blown away. Staff was helpful, I got my car on time and got a nice car. I will definitely be considering this company in the future.

Arrived at Cairns airport and our passport was misplaced, we have Canadian Driver's license with our home address, in English and a Nexus card with same. Within 10 seconds we were told we were wrong not to have our passport, and that they were overbooked, and no cars available. Alamo couldn't get rid of us fast enough and quickly explained that we will not be able to get a refund from them, its a third party! I will never book through EconomyBookings as we now must submit a request for a refund - basically beg for a refund. What a great travelling experience. Thankfully Hertz right next door did have a vehicle and oddly our documentation - English language wth a full home address and a valid credit card was more than adequate to take our money AND give us a car!

The car was just right for our family of 3. Roomy. Economical. The service was great from picking up the car, to being ready to drive it, great on mileage, so all in all a really good rental company. All checks done and on our way to airport so great service.

I have been to lots of Car Rental Places and this EconomyBookings location in Skokie was one of the best. Even in this pandemic the staff displayed excellent curbside customer service. I got everything I asked for and then some.
I definitely do not recommend this company.
My mistake was the fact that I have not checked reviews before booking with them. If i did, i would have cancelled immediately.
I booked a car with them oversea for a day trip and when i went to pick up the car, the company did not accept my driving licence. So i have called
EconomyBookings and asked what should happen to the money and I have been told to email the support email and I should either get a refund or at least I will have to pay a fee.
One week later and several emails sent, i still have not received any answer from their support team. They have just cashed the money and now they just dont answer anymore.
I use the services of rental last year, prices are reasonable, cars are always available. I book a car in advance and always arrive with confidence. Have never failed. And always the machine is clean and with a full tank. Conveniently. I advise.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
