To Refund they wanted access to my Debit Card
Too many red flags
Information and I didn't feel comfortable using
I was so dismayed by my experience with this company. I purchased a dress there for $48 and it didn't work out, so instead of being docked the $4.95 fee for a cash refund, I opted for store credit. I purchased another dress, which cost $23 more, which I also paid in cash. That dress was ill-described on the website, I didn't realize it came in two pieces instead of one, and the quality was not as I expected it to be. The fit was not flattering and I wanted to return this one, and instead of store credit, wanted a cash refund. I never expected that I would not be able to get my $71 that I paid in cash refunded back to me. I contacted customer service, figuring something was wrong. I voiced my displeasure, but was perfectly cordial. Then the customer service rep, Jayme, responded with a smug attitude and didn't even apologize for not being able to help me. I pointed out these policies aren't even written on their website, but Jayme didn't care. She needled me with her responses, signing off, "Cheers, Jayme" while I was clearly upset about this. I can't believe they won't refund me in cash. Now I have $40 in store credit there that I won't use. It is the biggest racket. They were rude, unhelpful and unapologetic. See below for the third email I received from Jayme:

Hi XXX,
Thanks for getting in touch! We're only able to refund customers in their original form of payment - we cannot turn store credit into cash, as store credit is not currency and nontransferable. For that reason, any refund for a purchase that was made in both cash and store credit will be refunded in both cash and store credit (unless the customer chooses a full store credit refund). You are not obligated to use the store credit from your return to make any further purchases.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do let me know.
Cheers,
Jayme Brown

They take a fee to sell your book on their website, but I'm not sure what it goes to pay for as their customer service is horrible. I sent in an email to change my bank listing information where they would be sending payments. I got a sketchy phone call more than a few days later from someone claiming they were going to help me change my payment bank account info. This is sketchy at best as the woman did not indicate this was why she was calling. With all the scam artists calling to try to steal info out there they need to train people better on how to reassure people they are calling that who they are and why they are calling. Or maybe send an email indicating how we will know what to expect or to even expect a phone call to begin with. I explained my situation to the agent who did not understand what I was saying. She basically kept repeating herself as if reading from a book indicating how to respond to certain questions. Like talking to a poorly programmed robot. Asked to speak to a supervisor who understood what I was asking but was horribly rigid about the rules. When I explained that my old bank account still exists but is no longer in my name she explained there was nothing they could do and I should call the bank to have them transfer, except my new account is not w/ the same bank. They said the system is automated and there is nothing they can do. I asked to speak to her supervisor (we are 2 levels up now) and at least got someone how was willing to admit that something else could be done. Looked and claimed there wasn't anything he can do. As someone who used to work for major company's in customer service there is always something you can do in a system. Maybe it requires a certain supervisor passcode or a special work around in the system but there is always something. They said I should talk to the person who has the bank account, but given that I am paying them a fee to use their service I shouldn't have to. And not to mention not everyone would be able to do that. What if I was a previously abused woman and the account was under my abusive ex husband's name? Not helping me (thankfully that is not me) could lead to a lawsuit. Ridiculous. I will be posting this review everywhere I can.
I purchased LeafBlaster PRO on EBAY and self installed to solve a pine needle gutter problem. Easy install and very pleased with results.
Ever hear of Ali-Expess.com? Well, it's China's e-bay or so like it, but BIGGER! Did you know that e-bay is just a pawn in the game of chess? Ever wonder how new items are so cheap and you can't afford to sell yours for a profit? China produces about 70% of all manufacturing that comes to us in the U.S. There is a conglomeracy of China products based in California that China sellers use from a HUGE warehouse so they can ship items on e-bay faster rather than from China, a new one but much smaller has opened up here in N. Y. After doing much research, I now use ebids.net to sell on and Ali-express.com to buy from, ordering direct and bargaining with the seller using e-bay as a tool. E-bay is just another middleman who has gotten too big for their britches, making money buying and selling products on their website. Amazon is a true leader in selling products and is U.S. not from China based. E-bay is just another website that does not care about you or me but still must not conform to regulations as they hold themselves not responsible as per their agreement policy. We can complain all we want and lose money to e-bay but, it is up to us to do our homework and look out for ourselves. Shop around people, make offers to sellers privately and sell on the 2nd biggest selling site to help e-bay monopoly. Wall-mart has the best prices if you settle for their brands and Ali-express if you can wait the extra time on shipping putting the big time sellers out of business. P.S. China will sell from their warehouses but will not let us use them in the United States. To buy quantity, use Alibaba.com and warehouse yourself if you have the room. Please share these websites with others.
I was, like most people, excited to find a company that made reselling easy for the seller. I thoroughly inspected every inch of every piece of clothing I sent in only to be told that almost half of those items were rejected due to staining. The clothing they claimed was "stained" included 2 dresses that I wore one time each and looked BRAND NEW. These were White House Black Market dresses that retailed for over $200 each. I would have accepted the offer on the additional clothing (a measely $55 for 13 items) but they DO NOT RETURN THE REJECTED CLOTHING if you accept an offer. Prior to making a decision on whether or not to accept their offer of $55, I decided to look into the company only to find out that MANY others experience the same problem. Rejection of items claiming to have been stained only to find that their items are later sold by the company. I decided to reject the offer. I received the items back today and reinspected them. They are ALL in pristine condition, as I knew they would be. They lied. They claimed the items were stained and WERE NOT. I caution you highly to be careful. NO matter how closely you inspect your items prior to sending them out, they will claim some are stained. They DO NOT OFFER THE OPTION TO SEND THE REJECTED ITEMS BACK IF YOU ACCEPT THE OFFER THEY GIVE. THEY CLAIM THEY GIVE THE ITEMS TO GOODWILL. HOGWASH!
I, ve ordered some coins some time ago. Never received them. H. M. C. S sT. LAURENT AND H. M. C. S iROUQIS COINS.
Sold items to pay my rent, eBay decided to hold my funds for 2 weeks even though I've been selling for over 15 years on eBay.
They r OK sometimes u can get some good deals in sometimes their stuff to high I just hate some products take to long to ship
For small sellers, eBay has become extremely unpleasant. Ebay favors the big box retailers and has engaged in mass purges of thousands of small sellers starting back in August (you can Google all of this). These weren't "bad sellers", these were good decent small "mom and pop" sellers who were suspended from selling. The Guardrail or Quick Decline and "trending" hang like a Sword of Damocles over small seller's heads. A couple of low DSR (Detailed Seller Ratings, BUYER OPINIONS) can derail a 14-year selling career on eBay no matter if you have 5,000 positive feedback. Ebay slaps 21-day holds (illegal in most states) on sellers' PayPal accounts (sellers have to pay for the hipping of items out of their own pockets while waiting for their payments from buyers to be released). Ebay granted itself permission in the October 26th User Agreement to no longer make a seller's items visible on the site based on hidden "criteria". Yes you read that right and can Google it. This is just the tip of the iceberg here, there is much, much more... a great deal of which is covered in a Kindle eBook I wrote (available on Amazon), NOISE: The Decline and Fall of Ebay. Vangoe.com and Toucandeal are both great alternative sites to eBay.
Been using eBay for years and I always felt safe and secure, I am always updated at every step of the way
I have been an ebay member for 22 years and have over 10k, 100% feedback. I have seen their policies change over time. They no longer have a method for protecting sellers from buyer fraud. I'm not like some of these reviewers who don't understand their seller requirements. I had a good thing going for a long time. But there is zero protection for me now, and that is a problem.
Today on a call with a rep, I was told too bad, so sad for an item a buyer switched out. They don't have a way to allow pictures to be uploaded for proof after a buyer returns the wrong item, but they won't do anything without proof. The software doesn't allow sellers to upload pictures with a report of a buyer misusing returns, but they are supposed to somehow consider what I wrote, without any proof. Really no different than the phone call I was on, where I was told, again, nothing without proof. And I get it, I have proof but they don't allow you to upload it. I was told I could send the pictures through an email, and hopefully they will connect it to the report I submit (with no proof) that goes to another department. When I asked why seller protection changed for the worse, he mumbled something about partial refunds, indicating that he didn't understand the question or was just blowing me off. This was an English speaking rep too. Each year I watched seller friends say no more and leave for other platforms. It may soon be my time to go as well. I know that ebay doesn't care about me. I'm here to warn new sellers who hear stories from the past and mistakenly believe that they will be protected as sellers. There are predatory buyers who know new sellers aren't up to speed on the ins and outs of a scam. And now, ebay no longer has your back. I was given a 'courtesy' coupon that did not cover the full cost of the item stolen, and scolded that it won't happen again. Yeah, thanks, I'll try to recognize fraudulent buyers before they purchase from me next time. I have had less than 10 buyers like this over 22 years, but I'm the one getting the warning. If they don't care about a 22 year long customer, they certainly don't care about you. Sell your stuff somewhere else.
THIS is a good store where you can buy items with low price they also have a open box item with low price very friendly
I have used EBay for quite a long time I have never witnessed a decline of service integrity and value this service is the worst
Enjoy bidding on Corvette part and Corvette accessories. Purchased Corvette seat repair kits from C&S Corvettes, in Sarasota, FL. They work great!
From today i leave ebay (BUYER FOR MORE THAN 6yrs) because they just told me i was not a good buyer because i was not folowing their policy. In the past years (3yrs back) i had fewer problems with ebay because 3/10 packages were missing or delay and i didn't even want to take refund or email the sellers. The past 2 years, i was 7/10 packages missing or dellay and when i mean dellay 6or more months. And a lot of them was bad quality, not as subscribe and a lot of mistakes were made or even damaged! Instead of giving a new policy for the buyers because we loose our money for scammers they ban the buyers for buying. I am not going to buy again because they change the policy good for sellers to sell more junk and fake packages and buyers say "thanks" or banned! They told me i was doing report or refund/return request sooner than the old days and i told them the truth. I am not raiting generaly but i realy feel so bad for ebay because the buyers will leave in sometime. More than 1000€ all this time!
JUST A FRAUD AND WASTING OF TIME... They gave me a coupon wotth 250, which can be used on a minimum putchase of 350. I had ordered a micro sd card worth 489, they said to deliver it within 10 days. But when i didnt gt it till 20 days, i call them and enquired about my product, they said it will reach within few days and it is with the courier company (Aramex), so i call the courier Aramex and that bull $#*! courier company keeps promising me that they will deliver my product as soon as possible and these courier company took 20 days (in 20 days i call them for 15-18 times) and after 20 days they sent me a text saying that my product has taken back by the seller and if i want to get my product then i had to contact ebay,
I call e bay and said about my problem they said me that i will gt my product by raising e bay guarantee claim, i claimed it and got a paisa pay id. They said that they will contact me within 5 days bt even after 15 days they didnt, so i call them and asked about my e bay guarantee claim then they said that they will not provide my product. So after wasting my 2 months of time and money on phone calls, i got nothing... so please beware of such frauds.
Any website, if I like something then I expect the prices to remain the same if you change prices- I want purchase it!
I recently better than item and within 3 minutes of ordering I found the exact same item for $20 cheaper on eBay I tried to cancel the first order and they said order rejected how can they reject an order when it was only placed 3 minutes prior and it was evening at that it wasn't like the company slept a shipping label on it and put it in the outbox in those 3 minutes so I ended up stuck with two items instead of only one when I tried to return the first one the more expensive one I immediately got a phone call from the seller begging me to keep the item literally begging me to keep it and they would discount me it started at $20 then $40 it ended up being a $60 discount but I ended up with two items that I only wanted one of I felt so damn guilty I went ahead and accepted the $60 discount and it was all because eBay rejected the cancellation order eBay what are you doing to sellers that make them beg me to keep an item at a discounted rate you guys have gotten to be a joke. Buyers beware canceling an item is not as simple as it used to be especially in the first 5 minutes.
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
