I purchased 8 games from them back in 2004. Had spinal surgery in 2010 and have not been on my computer since. Recently I decided to get on it and found not only has vista been damaged but my games are really weird. I decided to purchase a new tower but was told I could not move my games without a code. So I called popcaps and they told me they couldn"t help me because I no longer have the receipt. Who in there right mind holds a receipt for 13 years. The guy was rude and hung up on me. I will never purchase another thing from them again. Almost 200.00 out the window.
On one hand they make some games I really like, i. E. the Sims games, but on the other hand the latest Sims game they made, The Sims 4 was extremely disappointing and to be anywhere near playable would be excessively expensive, I refuse to pay quite a lot of money for the base game and then have to buy more content just to make the game playable to the standards the last game set.

I had Origin launcher and purchased two games I thoroughly enjoyed. I have lost the ability to play both. One game will not launch. The other has missing components because I am missing the files from the Origin Launcher that is no longer available in the new EA Launcher. DO NOT BUY OR DOWNLOAD their stuff.
Their technical support is from India and it is a joke. They will switch you between people and act as if this is a new problem for them, never ever resolving your issue.
You ever played pinball disguised as football? Try fifa23 turn constant pressure on and make it literally a luck game, and to make it even more random heres a new one, bad referee calls...in a video game, yes you heard it right, sometimes players just look at you in the box and you get a penalty...sometimes they will brake your legs, burry you and dance on your grave and the comentator wil say "that was a clean tackle", this and more...try fifa if you dont care much for your sanity.
I am furious with the service I've received from EA help.
My account was deregistered because I had not used it for over a year. All I get is a response that the issue is being investigated.

They just don't fix bugs, the fut companion app has the same bugs for years and now for this year some additional bugs, already for months. They don't care about experience, they only want to know how to make the most money out of each costumer, while simultaneously hoping that these costumers are getting frustrated (I'm just assuming these because of all the neglecting of costumers) I honestly think even Apple is a better company
Zero customer service... I got banned for no reason. When I tried to figure out why they told me they couldn't tell me why besides that I cheated... I haven't cheated or even know how to cheat on a game. They lost a long time loyal customer.
I just bought a new computer so I can play my purchased games. When I uploaded the EA app my computer became very slow and the game kept freezing. I used my software program and it detected that I had malware. I immediately contacted help desk and they basically ignored me. I sent my computer to an IT tech and they informed me that this pc was high jacked. They destroyed windows registry and files. EA games added excessive camera files, remote access files and drivers that I did not authorize. They had recordings as well. This is absolutely disgusting and disturbing that someone was accessing my pc without my knowledge or consent while listening, recording and watching me. I am outraged and I am going to sue them for destroying my property and violating my privacy!
I was loading up Battlefield 4 when the EA Black Friday sale add came up, so I made the mistake
Of clicking on it as it was offing all the content that you don't have... so I ordered the lot thinking I was getting the UCAV, but to my surprise they sold me all the content that i already had, and no UCAV (the only content I got that i never had that the SCAR)
So i asked for a refund as how can they sell me content that I already had.
I did offer that if they could give me the unlock for the UCAV they could keep the $70, but all I have received is a bunch of BOT REPLIES asking the same questions over and over again, It's now January and I still do not have a resolution just heaps more BOT REPLIES...

I'm in a place with no internet, I wanted to play and offline game so I clicked on the icon on the desktop of my laptop. Instead of opening the game like it usually does but instead it tries to open the app and because I have no one internet I can't login. So when I finally got wifi I tried to log in and in all my time of owning ea if asked to verify my email so I did and it never sent the code so I retried and checked my email everything was correct but I never got the verification email. I just wanted to play sims
As a company, they've again and again proven that they do not actually care about anything else than sales. Fanboys are always there to protect them of course but anyone who had the unluckiness of having to deal with EA on a problem as a customer, they know how unhelpful and unsupportive they can be.
EA seems to go on as a neccesary evil with holdings onto the gaming world, I'd rather not deal with them any more than neccesary.

EA App is the worst app in the world. Where are the language settings in games? Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, not all languages are available for Sims Medieval. I know it's an old game, but Origin had the language I bought the game in. Why is it only English now?
I love FIFA, but the amount of money I spend on packs is insane. I calculated that in a month I spend around $300 when I play FIFA. It is so addicting, I actually hate myself for it. Be careful when buying any EA game. You may be forced to spend a lot afterwards.
We didnt ask to switch to the EA app, we were forced to. I put over $100 into a game i cant launch or play most of the time. Origin was way better, at least i wasnt constantly having to deal with connection issues, launch issues and an overall glitchy app. Im currently unable to launch my game for no real reason. If we werent forced to move to the EA app there wouldn't be so much bandwidth causing network issues from so many people trying to use it at the same time.
EA games Scrabble iPad app
Repeated upgrades to the EA scrabble app leaves players on older ipads out in the cold. Dispite paying for the product, on both sides of the pond, EA upgrades have led to origin customers being unable to play scrabble with their friends. NO RESPONSES have been forthcoming to repeated requests for help & information. EA constantly amend blogs to read "fixed" when there are obviously thousands still unble to use their app. No refund being offered & zero replies as to when it will be fixed. Second time this year app non- functional for over 3 weeks. Terrible service!
I had origin and then it told me to transfer to the ea app. Well obviously I did it no problem right? WRONG! It worked the first day but the next day ALL my games got deleted. The worst part was I had to pay over 200 dollars to get all of them back. I'm not going to so instead I'm going to rant on multiple review pages. I have had a horrible experience with EA. A third party seller called GamesDeal sold me TitanFall2. The product doesnt work on my computer after I installed. I went to Gamesdeal and they will not refund. They are a Chinese company with no phone number. I went to EA and Carlo told me I need to 'Respect the refund policy'. I am out 25 bucks and have lost all respect for EA, not to mention I have lost a couple dozen hours trying to figure this mess out
