Terrible company

Terrible business practices and policies would not recommend anyone to use their worthless services. One of the worst servers and support desks an absolute shame.

This company's return policy is an ABSOLUTE SCAM designed to trick people like me who don't know much about computers into buying expensive games that their computer can't run. I purchased assassins creed odyssey at sale price (thankfully) thinking that it was the same as Steam where I could refund or get credit if it doesn't run. I am a fool for trusting this company for one second. They tell me "Oh so sorry it's not under our refund policy :) " OH okay, so you sold me a game I can't play and HID the part where it says it is a final sale. I have NEVER purchased something that is a final sale and not been notified about it so this is a TOTAL scam. And the "case managers" are complete robots that have 0 empathy for anyone. I wonder how the "managers" (whom don't actually manage ANYTHING about this scum of a company) sleep at night knowing they are ripping low income people like me off.

Horrible customer service
November 24, 2023

Bought BF3 three years ago. The game seems to need some patch to work (it now cannot connect to the internet while clearly the rest of the computer can.) They told me (after just ending the chat without reason 3 times) that maybe the "game studio" guys would email me, but probably not. That is now 3 weeks ago. I waited patiently but now I just HAVE to write this review, only to discharge my anger somewhere. EA games is EVIL. EA games is HORRIBLE. EA games is RIPPING OFF PEOPLE. EA games is the worst gaming company in the world, wait, in the universe! F*ck 'em, f*ck 'em in their stupid faces.I hope they all die from c*ck and c*nt rot in that sh*thole.

EA could do so much better. Compatibility issues and bugs plague most of what EA releases. The "customer support" is absolutely terrible. When I called customer support about some frequent in-game problems for both the BATTLEFIELD and MADDEN franchises, the best they could do was say "contact playstation network support". This puzzled me, because it is not sonys problem EA's game does not work correctly. Considering I purchased battlefield premium for the added $49.00 and was not receiving any of the added perks for this service I was very dissatisfied with the "contact psn" solution. The same thing happend when i purchased Madden 25 card packs for Ultimate Team and the cards from those packs werent playable because something happened in game that caused the game to freeze. This is absolutely not acceptable.

For developers of games like say (BF2042) you guys are pretty stupid. Whose bright idea was it to do the latest update, because whoever it was needs a new job.
WTF were you thinking? That's one of the dumbest if not the dumbest update I've seen. If I wanted to go back in time and play BF4 then I would have just played it. If the damn game isn't broken, then don't fix it. You guys really screwed the pooch on this update. I'd rather watch YouTube videos than play this game right now and I've been a BF player since its inception. FIX THE GAME!

Greedy and Lazy

EA is a greedy and awful company. They buy out competition so they don't have to try on their games, they refuse to renovate games and often take steps backwards instead, and have shown that they really only care about revenue rather than player satisfaction. Series like Madden, FIFA, Battlefront, Battlefield, Dead Space, the Sims, Mercenaries, Army of Two, Mass Effect, NCAA Football, Medal fo Honor and several others all went downhill. EA is where franchises go to die because all they care about is making sales. Games have gotten unituitive and uncreative, riddled with micro transactions and gimmicks and are so lazily written and or coded that they're no fun anymore. I wish EA as a whole would just disappear but I know that won't happen. All I can hope for is that they can change one day to a company that actually gives a damn about its consumers and fans.

SAD EXCUSE OF A COMPANY

Multi billion dollar company that cant even have stable servers. WASTE of money buying any of there games. FIFA 23 is legit a joke. Hope this company gets bought out by someone that actually cares about its gamers and not just money. TRASH COMPANY = TRASH GAMES

I had my IDENTITY STOLEN because of EA's completely inadequate cyber security protocols. I had hundred and hundred of dollars for purported purchases from EA improperly charged to my debit & credit card. They could care less, did nothing other than object to me calling the credit card company to stop the fraud and summarily banned me. The result being, also lost $100s I spent on DLC. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

I don't know what or where I would be if I hadn't enjoyed EA products in my younger years. FIFA, Madden, Knockout Kings, Battlefield, NASCAR, Harry Porter, Burnout, Need for Speed, SimCity, Delta Force, NBA Live, the list is endless.

I have played FIFA football since FIFA 2001 after moving from PES, but this EA FC 24 is by far the worst game I have ever played. To be honest I get depressed rather than find any enjoyment from it. The main reason is that it is not a realistic simulation game.
When I play against the computer their players are ridiculously fast, if you can tackle them you either fall over or the ball rebound back to them. They block every shot you make and the computer goal keepers makes ridiculous saves, almost 13-17 saves per game.
Your defenders either run backwards or just stand there.
It is obvious that EA sports makes the gameplay so bad because they want you to spend money on FUT.
Look how many complaints they get about their video games and EA FC 24, but you can tell they don't care because they don't do ANYTHING about it.
I am not going to buy anymore football games from EA SPORTS ever again, I only bought EA FC 24 because it was reduced in the black Friday deal, but now wish I had saved my money.

Mechanics of the game make no sense. Cards rating and attributes are not what it says. Need to fix servers as constantly disconnecting.Remove al owairan from the game

I don't quite get why EA get so much hate from so called gamers!
EA releases quality games, and unlike one of their main competitors don't hide content behind paywalls (like Destiny's The Taken King DLC, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare etc)

Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered
October 11, 2022

After encountering an issue with a game and trying to troubleshoot on my own, I attempted to find help on their site, which resulted in me going in circles. Any "help" or "contact us" link anywhere on the site was a dead end, resulting in only a "page not found" or taking me back to the original help page. I had to go to four different customer service sites that were not EA to even find a working number for their customer service center. I finally found out that only a few topics will get you a real person that will contact you. However, my phone carrier thought the number was spam and sent it to voicemail. A customer rep did leave me a voicemail asking me to call them back quickly, however when I attempted to call the number back, an automated message said "Please visit our website at help.ea.com, there is no customer representatives at this time" and hung up. I chose another issue topic unrelated to my technical issue in order to get put on a live chat. By this point I had spent almost two hours troubleshooting and then trying to find someone to talk to, so I was pretty much over it. The representative did not help me with my issue, anyway. I think it's important to note that I have had an account with EA since 2015 and until this point, I was very happy with my experience. However, this experience has forever shaped my perception of this company and I will no longer be doing business with them.
