Posts are frequently tagged improperly and inconsistently, making user blacklists useless in blocking pedophilia, gore, scat, snuff, pee, etc. Complaints about this are met with account bans and incredibly rude admin comments insulting users for expressing frustration at a broken tagging system. Mods will frequently lock tags onto posts such that they cannot be removed, even when going explicitly against the sites "tag what you see" rule. Forum posts questioning certain mods who do this are immediately deleted and the user banned.

Funny how a bunch of furries that migrated from Furaffinity after the "Cub Porn" ban made this $#*! hole site. They treat pedophile iconography and explicitly stated pedophilia images as nothing, but you reference something or quote a meme and it's seen as RP in comments. As well as having, poor moderators, they have an issue with "quality standards" of images or movies. Uh huh. So where's the quality for not allowing pedophilia images on your site? Do the world a favor and submit an anonymous tip to the FBI for having "Pedophile Iconography", "Pedophilia Temptation", and "Explicitly stated Pedophilia" as one of the many APPROVED tags they have on their site.

Change the origional quality back to the 2010 days or this will be a major setback to you and your website sorry bot sorry but i lied about a 2 star review i really dislike your rude staff "it also states nothing to new 'lowquality makers' about how you limited them to a day of fooling and not letting them get critisism from some one who isnt staff before taking it down" which is really rude in my oppinion.

Posts take ages to be accepted up to a month, for no reason,

Mods are rude with newer artists, saying their art is bad and is not accepted like this is some sort of vip site

Mods are petty, u get banned for telling ur opinion, if u dont like a drawing or theme and mention it, u get banned

Downvotes can be spammed and its really mean to the artists

This site is literally full of pedophiles and all sorts of nasty things. I don't know how the US gov hasn't cracked down on $#*! like this.

This website only begun to block child porn of human characters recently, still allowing it for anthro characters to this day. They allow bestiality content, necrophilia, etc. Drawn or not, this type of stuff is absolutely immoral and straight up dangerous to host on your website as it normalizes these abhorrent behaviors.

The mods on this site are wayyy too trigger happy, i've seen someone get banned for saying the word yes, literally nothing more or less they just said yes and got permabanned, bc of that rp comment ban which i appreciate because i dont like those types of comments but c'mon bruh
They also used to let young human characters on the site until recently (based decision) but the community lost their $#*! over it which lets you know how awesome they are
Its a shame too bc there are really good artists on here but unfortunately it's covered in $#*!

This site apparently now protects pedophiles I told a user to very politely take down a picture as they actually for real posted a VERY real picture of a minor like not art a real pic of a minor I instead of being told they would be taken care of it i was permanently banned for quote on quote "harassment,and threats" this site needs to be taken down to be honest. All I said was that this type of stuff doesn't belongs on this site and I got a permanent suspension for life. (picture to my suspension shown in my description)

I had my Artwork Reposted onto here Without permission by someone who found my Old Deactivated DA Account, Found out when i was roaming thru the site, going thru different tags, Specifically "Sparkledog" & "Glamfur".

[IMPORTANT UPDATE] Keep in mind that most of the artists didn't ask to be tagged as young and they have nothing to do with pedophilia. You can check by yourself. Most of the artworks in questions are furry pictures with a cute aesthetic. There is CP arts, a lot. But there's a lot of people that have nothing to do with that.

The staff says it's a tactic to avoid drama, except that it's ignoring the true cause of the problem as users see the number of this tag increase considerably. I don't see the logic behind this tactic as there is always as much drama than before and the reputation of the website is degrading even more. People's hatred in this community is strengthening and this is justified. Nobody with a sane mind would enjoy being tagged as a pedophile.

They have a adult(lore) tag to once again ignore the main issue. But to me this is the same as a one million years old kid coming from animes. This is just insulting and taking their community for garbage.

This website does its job. Archiving anything furry related. But members, even some janitors literally tag anything "young" even without any evidences aside "personal opinion" most of the time. They don't provide services that are normally written in terms and conditions of the website if they dislike you, and they threaten if you dare ask for your rights as an user.

Some people have been threatening me personally and nobody was helping me at all through this. This was really stressful and depressing to see I couldn't do anything to change my current situation.

Yes, the website does its job. What the staff does and doesn't do matters over everything else and that's why this deserves only 1/5.

The moderation of the site is a complete 1:1 mirroring of the average Reddit moderator stereotype, having a "higher-than-thou" attitude consistently and never listening to anything outside of their own moderation bubble. The general consistent incompetence reflected by the moderation is absolutely absurd, many of the same admins striking various users for whatever excuses they see fit (Mostly being deemed a "creepy comment" or as "roleplay" somehow), but any actual issues with the site such as the gigantic, blatantly high use of underage content and artists bypassing paying for adspace by just posting blatant Patreon ads on the site for free adspace is truly astounding. Some of the mods are barely existent an just incredibly lazy, some of the mods are aggressive and rule with an iron fist and deem whatever they perceive as against the rules as so regardless if it actually is, and one of the mods is even a straight-up AI because they're too lazy (Cinder, the mod, runs on ChatGPT, because ChatGPT is obviously a completely reliable program to auto-mod with that has no problems whatsoever).

It's a good archival (porn) site, but it's rife with the most degenerates there is due to having no restrictions on what gets posted (There is a pornographic picture of 9/11 sitting at the bottom of the site with the most downvotes, that's still up and not touched), as well as the Moderators usually being sleazy, corrupt, incompetent people that have easily-bruised egos and love to manipulate their vaguely-worded rules into anything they want to strike you with.

E621 is owned by the CEO of Bad Dragon, a furry sex toy company. It is meant to be an art forum for the furry fandom. Like other users have said, it falls short in almost every way. The shear amount of tasteless, unartistic, and deeply harmful depictions of pedophillia and bestiality is staggering.

There are many good works on this site. Even the smut and porn, in many instances, shows incredible skill and intent, but because of aforementioned reasons I cannot recommend anyone visit this site.

A much better site for anyone interested in wholesome art from the furry community is e926. E926 is a rip of e621 which only shows posts which have been approved and marked as 'safe.' I must warn you though, that this version of the site only filters out the pornographic content of its mother site, and is not a distinct entity. On the site you will find ardent defenders of the excessive obscenities of e621.

And for anyone interested in furry porn, you can find it in most places where porn is posted. There may not be as great a trove as on e621, but there also won't be cp or dog $#*!ers.

I have been using E621 for some time now and although I have enjoyed it for some time I have encountered very unpleasant images that I try to give the benefit of the doubt to the artists who have made those images, but the more I give the benefit of the doubt the more I see extremely creepy and very questionable images.

For starters, I would see Pokemon having sex with other Pokemon whom were in their beginning evolution stages and I might have thought that the latter type of Pokemon would be older than they were to be depicted, but the more I thought about how they were illustrated to act in the image the more I start to think about what the artist was actually wanting to make. The more I see what was on there the more questionable it would get. One of the last straws I had was when a Pokemon in it's last evolution was having sex with a Pokemon of the same species in its beginning evolution and the latter calling it daddy. I don't know if it was a sexual way of saying it, but I try to give the benefit of the doubt to the MODs since they are flooded with thousands of images of furry porn, but I almost feel like with this amount of people I don't feel it's worth it anymore. That will be my last time going on E621 and I will never visit it again. Goodbye

You get banned for disagreeing with moderators or even 'creepy comments'. Many of my own comments are jokes, which I tried to show by using quotes. Got banned for "roleplaying". Took the quotes off. Banned for "inappropriate comments" while denying I was banned for 'roleplay' in the first place. I am not the only instance of mod abuse.

Ok so first right off the bat, they allow cub porn and if you even try to criticize it a bit people there will defend it like their life depends on it and I see people get warned for making sexual remarks towards images (even though the entire point of that website is to look at images of fictional characters you wanna $#*!) or roleplaying

The site contains lots of good content from amazing artists. However, the admins on the site are lacking in just about every category you would wish to see in an administrative force.

Art on the site is only approved at the discretion of the un-elected non-artist who acts as a biased arbiter of what is to be considered of quality. Understandably, this makes uploading to the site a gamble, and honestly not quite worth it.

Received a neutral record for "mass downvoting" from the same moderator who uploaded the majority of submissions by this artist. Moderator also uses a picture of Judy Hopps as their pfp and the images from the artist I downvoted consist almost exclusively of latex/BDSM images of Judy Hopps. But definitely probably no bias, right? Probably? Lol

I went to the e621 discord to ask why alot of my art was either removed or never approved and the entire mod team went up my $#*! and told me my works were not to their standard and wasnt good. I have graduated with a graphic arts degree and these people judge my art as not good to their standards even tho they love other art that is ridiculous and obviously not to their standards as said professional.

Okay, If some of you people are using iPad or other devices, did you witness that the images that are missing and just completely gone, well I am having this problem right now and I want e621.net to be fixed right now.
