Now, let me be clear, I never actually got a dress from DressFirst.

I ordered a dress from DressFirst and when I saw the name of the company in the PayPal email it immediately set of an internal alarm. So, I did some digging and found this site and DressFirst's horrible reputation. When I did, I instantly emailed the company asking to cancel my order. To their credit, they did cancel my order promptly, kept in contact with me via email and, this is important, only took a few days to return my money. I was really preparing myself to argue with this company and PayPal, but this was not the case.

I can't speak to the quality of the clothing, of course, but I'll give them some credit for returning my money in a prompt manner. Which is, of course, what is the bare minimum they are legally required to do.

Do not buy anything from this company! They make it hard for you to get a full refund. They offered me 15% of the dress I purchased ($133.99) and suggested I should keep the dress and get it professionally altered at my cost because it's not their fault the dress doesn't fit me right. They claim their measurement are different from the normal sizing charts. I had a feeling this company would give me a bad time about returning the dress because they're based in China! Didn't know that until it arrived in the mail. Go figure! Always ripping people off. I am making a point to SPREAD the WORD about this company. You apparently messed with the wrong person!

I think all the 5-star ratings are bogus and probably posted by themselves. Don't make the same mistake I did. You'll never see your $$ again..

100% terrible experience. The dresses were cheaply made, the sash was not a true sash, the color was all wrong, and they didn't want me to return the merchandise until I got my credit card company involved, then I had to pay the shipping TO CHINA. Needless to say, it was expensive, and I still didn't have either of the bridesmaid dresses I needed. Don't do it, but if you do, keep fighting them in your e-mail exchanges, and get your credit card company involved if needed. Not only did they insult me via e-mail, try to make me believe the poorly made dresses were acceptable, and try to cheat me out of getting a refund SEVERAL times (word to the wise, don't settle for their coupons--you can only use one per order, and they make sure you can't get anything for the price of one coupon), they also constantly tried to make me think I was at fault for all of it. Do not purchase from this company, go to an actual store and talk to a live person. P.S. David's Bridal is not that place.

I ordered a dress to wear to my son's wedding. I ordered a regular size off their website. It was not made specifically for me. The website says it will accept returns if it isn't what you thought you were ordering based on the picture. When I received the dress it was not at all like the picture, didn't fit well, and wasn't what I wanted. I went to return it they wouldn't let me and insisted it was made specifically for me. They answered my email once and then wouldn't answer after that. There were no phone numbers to call. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHINg OFF THIS SITE!

I bought a dress - that said silke - for my wedding. It was a wedding maternity dress.
The material was 100 % polyester!
It was thick and stiff and the measures was awful.
I am. a petite female - from Asia myself so I normally DON'T have a problem with these sizes!

It was like a baloon over the chest - and tight over the belly?

It looked like it was custom made for a mixture of Gollum AND Quasimodo.
I feel so sad.
Don't bother to buy from this company ever!
You will waste money on shipping prices - and I guarantee You will be forced to purchase Your clothing elsewhere.

What I want?
* A formal apology + my money back.

Horrible company policies and customer service! I received the dress and the buttons/jems sewn on were falling off. The cut of the dress didnt sit right at the hips as intended and looked in pictures. I asked to return the dress and they denied me refund but said they would refund me 15% I told them it was not as expected and they continued to not let me return dress but then offered me 25% refund. I again told them that I wanted a full refund and to send the dress back. They are not understanding that and are denying me the refund for the poor sewn dress.

BEWARE OF THIS AWFUL, UNETHICAL COMPANY. THE RETURN POLICY POSTED ON WEBSITE IS NOT WHAT THE HONOR EITHER. MY SISTER HAD A CUSTOM MADE DRESS FOR MY WEDDING AND IT WAS TERRIBLE! SHE PAID EXTRA FOR THE CUSTOM FIT AND BESIDES FOR THE POOR QUALITY, THEY WERE AT LEAST 3 INCH OFF ON ALL THEIR MEASUREMENTS THEN TRIED TO ACCUSE HER OF LYING! SHE WAS PROFESSIONALLY MEASURED BY THE WAY. THEIR ANSWER WHEN SHE ASKED FOR RETURN 1 DAY AFTER RECEIVING WAS TO TAKE TO A TAILOR! HECK NO! NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL OR SPEAK LIVE TO ANYONE. QUALITY POOR AND NOTHING LIKE PIC. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY- THEY ARE DISHONEST AND NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!

I should have read this before I purchased my dress. It happened likr it happened to the rest!
I paid £87 for my dress and free shipping. A week later a received a text saying I had to pay an extra £21 for the dress to be delivered. Then I got my dress which I ordered a uk 10 size on the uk version of the web and they sent me a 14 that to be honest doesn't fit a 14 size person either. I demanded to return the dress and a refund and they offered me 15%. I said no and the offered 25% refund as they said each dreas is made to order. So I told them to delete any returns or refunds policy from their website as they dont do it anyways and tomorrow I will be contacting trading standards... the customer service was a disgrace! Blaming on me for every problem they game me. Im fuming! They told me on the email to sell my dress if I dont want it or to gove it to someone as a present! What type of customer service is that!

At first when my dress arrived, I was thrilled. The colour was beautiful and it arrived to my house very quickly. However, upon closer inspection, the lining was not sewn in properly and hung past the hem, and the pleats in the skirt were not only improperly attached, but the stitching was coming undone on some of them. It was also too big and so I had to take it to be altered, and that's when I found out why the bodice was so bulky - it was originally teo dresses that had been put together to make mine, and the excess was not trimmed away - it was hacked at and there was way too much fabric left behind. The dress was also stitched in a contrasting colour of thread in some places. In the end, the cost of the dress and having it sewn together properly cost me twice as much as the original price of the dress. Furthermore, when I posted a less than glowing review on their website (and the dress in question), it was never posted. Only people who loved their dress had their reviews posted for everyone to see, which is disappointing since the manufacturer is lying to the customer.

All of these reasons combined are why I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.
