They promote 1 week trial but actually is fake when you try to download an image they will charge you the subscription and the download will Start automatically so after that you can Cancel or be Refunded
Already start a charge back with my back
5 years working with Stock images Website Frist time ever
I have received no response from customer service about how to get the initial photos from the trial. It states that you have to get photos and download that do not have a watermark. There is no such thing. The ones they say are theirs when you download they put watermarks on them and tell you have to pay for them to get the water marks off. So you can download for X number of photos but you can't use what you download.
This company has no problem using blatantly dishonest advertising. Their site offers "Free Download" but once you create an account the images then show they are fee based. At that point, they already had my contact information. Absolutely Bait-and-Switch tactics. Within minutes of giving them my personal contact information, and finding out that the images I wanted are not available for free download, I'm already getting hammered with emails from them.
Really bad experience. Would never consider using this business. They encourage you to sign up to a trial that has no actual benefits (but they still have your credit card details). Then when you try to cancel, they make that very confusing in the hope that you accidentally fail to cancel.
I strongly recommend you find a different business to work with. These guys are not OK.
I was a contributor of Dreamtime
After two years, I made a grand total of $40 and change
I disabled all the images in my account and requested the account be closed and the balance be payed to me.
Dreamstime says it will not pay me the $40 owed because its less than their minimum payout of $100.
I made it clear to them that I wish to permanently close my account.
They have not done so and have not paid me anything.
I have contributed to stock sites, Shutterstock and Adobe, who graciously paid me what was owed me after closing my account, regardless of the balance.
Ill let Dreamstime have my $40.
Apparently they need it more than I do.
They had on the website that 15 images free trail. Turns out yes they are free as you down load them, but when you received them, you have to pay for them to use them without the watermark. And their ad of getting some of the images free, is just a sales trick. I will never do business with them again. (in the fine line they will cover themselves by puting royalty free images, in their long drawn out agreement pages, that's like reading a book to know what it's all about) I rather do business with a company that's up front on what they will, and will not do.
Signed up for the $33 subscription with free 7 days. I tried signing out then back in, but the image I wanted still had watermarks all over, despite signing up for a subscription. I cancelled immediately and sent an email to remove my card from their system. Unlike other user experiences, I have yet to be charged.
Seriously, just go somewhere else. They say their images are royalty free. It even has a free download button. Then it asks you to create a FREE account. Then you have to click free download again and then it asks for a subscription. Why cant you just be honest. If they can't be transparent and honest then they aren't worth dealing with. Not even worth a 1 star.
I was expecting to receive these photos without watermark but they gave me MORE watermarks? Awful Site.
This site's subscription plans are confusing and deceptive. They lure you in with a "free trial" however the images are watermarked and they don't disclose this anywhere before you give your credit card info. I wish I could just know in USD how much it costs to buy an image.
As a contributing photographer ive never have had a problem with them, questions are responded to in a timely manner.
... the requirement to have to continue paying $49 every month in order to keep the backlog of images that you have paid for in the months preceding is criminal.
I signed up for a free one week trial of Dreamstime photos. The photos you can download for free are watermarked. Totally unusable! When I requested unwatermarked photos, I was charged for a subscription. What a scam! Do not use this site for clip art!
I received a threatening calls from their service representatives on 27AP2021. First, he lied to me telling me they were going to cancel my domain name. I listened on; y long enough to realize that was their sales pitch. He identified himself as "penya85" (*******618) and called repeatedly, even after I told him I was not interested in their service. After telling him I was not interested, he started asking for personal information and then told me he knew my address and was going to keep calling. I am very upset. I will never use a service that uses threats to try to make me purchase their services. Wish I could rate negative stars.
They charge my card automaticly. I consider it a theft. I didn't agree to this. There was no informaction about it.
Conveyance takes a brief timeframe and I am extremely intrigued with your extraordinary work. Truly you are incredible.
I just went to their website and wanted to try the free trail - gave the credits card - never used their content - and ended being charged for 5 months - and had to go my bank to block.
They show you the photos with a big " free download" button, when you click on it they ask you to sign up in order to download but when you create your account and go back to the same " free download " big button they show the payment page, and there is no way to delete your account.
Beware. Be careful. Avoid at all costs. This site overcharges, hides fees, automatically signs up users to auto-renewable subscriptions - basically every trick in the book to manipulate credit card fees. The site relies on people to miss, ignore or not bother with follow up on credit card charges or forget you created an account. Don't get sucked in.
