I booked on Monday, dropped off my parcel on Tuesday and it was delivered on Sunday (1day early). That was to Seattle from UK. I call that amazing. Post office is expensive and takes 4-5 weeks. I suspect only dissatisfied customers are leaving reviews.
Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly

If I could rate my experience below one star I would most certainly do. My parcel was due today, with its content being of more than 1,000 pounds worth. Wish I could say it was lost, but it was signed and received by a stranger named 'J' in the other side of London, more specifically the DPD depot in Barking which looks quite peculiar to me (even though the customer service reassured me on the phone that it was mistakenly delivered to a 'neighbouring address by mistake'). The picture attached as proof of delivery by the driver 'Abdelkader' was entirely blurry showing no context whatsoever. DPD has been quite unhelpful to say the least. That is why I raised an official investigation to be conducted that will be looking into both dpd and the driver. Even though I am quite confident that the issue will be resolved, this is only because it is no longer in dpd's hands. The outrage and the inconvenience I experienced today is inconceivable. And on top of that I received neither an answer nor an apology...
Is DPD a scam? I booked and paid for 'next day delivery drop to door'. Apparently this takes 1-2 days... I dropped my envelop at 1:30ishpm on 10/10 to the recommended shop. The item had to arrive on or before 13/10.
At 5pm, I checked the tracking. "your parcel will be delivered no later than 14/10"
I went to DPD online chat and their solution was for me to upgrade my delivery, I felt I had no choice. Another £6.99 and I chose it to be delivered 12/10 12-6pm.
Long sad story shortened: the envelop was never delivered, it was relabelled on 13/10 and made a next day delivery back to me! No reason was given. Absolutely ridiculous. No customer service detailed on the website.
This aborted delivery has cost me £1000 due to the envelop not arriving.

I was waiting for a pre 12 delivery, whilst sitting at home waiting for delivery I got a notification to advise my delivery would be attempted again tomorrow as I was not at home? I was definitely at home and have clear view of my drive so I know this driver never attempted this delivery
I called Healthxchange pharmacy to complain, and about 3 hours later a manager called me from Dpd, I explained that no one had attempted a delivery, and I was really unimpressed with their service
This is actually not the first time I have experienced this type of behavior from Dpd, considering that they are delivering cold chain medication I would expect a much better service

Paid for next day delivery and was quoted a time between 2-3pm. Stayed in all day and at 13:50pm I received a text/email saying that I wasn't in and they'll have to deliver it on the 19/4/22. Looked through the recording on my Ring doorbell camera incase I missed the driver and I can see those no one turned up. Adrian (the driver) obviously couldn't be bothered to deliver the parcel to me or wanted to get off early. After calling their helpline, they said there's nothing they can do but just for me to wait till the 19th April. Absolutely furious as it's something I need for Saturday hence why I paid for next day delivery.
DPD doesn't deserve any star, I received an Email at 09:09 today which is 23/12/2022 telling that my parcel will be delivered between 13:30 & 14:30, I was waiting from 1pm close to the window then at 13:45 another Email saying that it have been delivered and asking how many stars will you do to us without saying where and to whom they delivered it. I contacted the sender, then they told me its delivered to a delivery point. The distributer didn't come to my adress, all the morning I was at home, and the bell is ok, no bell rung, no telephone, if say they reached to my home they are liers. They don't do their job correctly.
If you still use the DPD you have most likely experience hell. Sticking with them is a non-sensical decision. Your parcel WILL be delayed it WILL come in bad condition and if you're really unlucky (like I was) you'll have your parcel be lost. 0 stars if I could. If you find someone that likes the DPD assume that they're is a masochist.

Wouldnt even give them 1 star if that had been possible but cant give a review if I dont, I have been chasing a parcel since last Friday, first they said they would then deliver Saturday, then Sunday. Then Monday, then they said the driver had attempted delivery between 12 and 1300 hrs on Friday then he had delivered the parcel on Monday at 1500 hrs. I have a Ring doorbell and no one rang door bell at those times, next the parcel is back in Cardiff depot, still on going

What an absolute joke! Pay good money for VIP named delivery day to guarantee you will be home and get your parcel - then they say it will come tomorrow! Been sat in their depot for a week!
I am absolutely fuming. I ordered 5 tops on 21 March 2015 and as of today's date 13 April 2015 NOTHING has arrived! When I tried to get in touch with this company, customer service does not exist via email (if you've found an address please let me know), subsequently (as you do) I checked for a telephone number NOTHING! However, the monies have left my account someone is benefiting at my expense. As for the tracking number this was not recognised. If I had wanted to throw my money away there are numerous other ways in which I could have done so. I would strongly advise DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM LIGHTINTHEBOX.COM it is a Scam.

Package never arrived. I tried to contact the customer service like 6 times per day. 10 days long. No one is answering. I have waited 10 min and nothing.
Driver said he had attempted delivery. Not true. We were at home all the time and have dogs who would have barked. No card. Now have to travel some distance to their 'collection point'. AWFUL.
I ordered 3 items from M&S, to be delivered to my daughter in good time for Christmas. The driver arrived - a day late, and would only leave 1 of the 3 packages, saying they had been duplicated by mistake, no matter that my daughter explained that they were 3 similar items and all part of 1 order. Having followed the tracking service - the only means open to me, it seems - I discover that the other 2 packages are on their way back to M&S. I have spoken with M&S, and the items on return cannot be re-delivered as they are not yet there and not back in stock,, and they are now sold out. I am so upset - I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I have not seen my family for a year now, and my daughter's mental health is fragile. It is so frustrating, and all because a delivery driver wold not listen. How dare he not deliver? These items were correctly labelled, addressed to my daughter - he should not have the right to with-hold them.The other big issue is that there is no way to contact them directly to ask for explanation. I have found a telephone number, but getting through to an actual customer service person would need a miracle! I am also disappointed in M&S for using such a bad service.
This is happened to me many times now: I have ordered online and booked to be delivered on Sunday - Guest what: "Sorry You Missed your delivery": The Driver called GARETH - just took a photo of "outside random gate wall" and claimed - he tried to deliver: Deliver to the gate wall? Yeah right. Unfortunately for me, no option to send my parcel to local pick up shop - and from what I remembered from previous experiences: no matter which date I choose - they will just said " Sorry Missed your delivery" like a vicious cycle - the parcel ended up return back to the seller because they said "Sorry Missed your delivery": wasting my time, wasting my money, ruined my plan. Well I am not surprise they will keep continue doing it, we as customer will continue to suffer.
Absolute absolute joke from the beginning to the end (which has not occured yet as my parcel is not being delivered). Called muliple times as my parcel was not arriving, each time I was being given contradictory information. Sometimes you are being given contradictory information from the same person during a single call ("the delivery is set up for tomorrow" then 30sec later "it is not sure that the parcel will arrive tomorrow"), and when you ask for precisions they get ANGRY and they HANG UP like WTF man? I have even been told several times that they can not promise that the parcel will arrive in case the driver has an accident or the truck breaks down? It must be a prank, that is the only rationnal explanation to this absolute mess. I hate you DPD, you are evil and deserve to go bankrupt. The entire customer service should be fired. I wish I could put 0 stars, maybe even negative stars.

Extremely unprofessional service. Doesn't deliver on time. FOUR consecutive FAILED attempts. Customer service is also appalling. Drivers are extremely lazy, and to "prove" they delivered, they'll take a photo of the outside of building without bothering to come in. They've even taken pics of the inside of my building meaning they couldn't be bothered to walk ONE flight of stairs. Customer service also doesn't take delivery instructions even when they say they did and drivers don't bother looking at instructions. PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Parcel suddenly marked as delivered. I was home, but no delivery to me. No card left. Parcel probably stolen. I officially give up on online ordering when I have no control over who delivers.

Company has really gone downhill over the past few months (my experience). There was a time when I used to rate DPD the highest, they are now the lowest out of all courier services in my estimations.
My poor experience was mainly down to the drivers. Disregard of safe place specified, little or no attempt to ring the doorbell or knock the door. To then be told my parcel will be left in a safe place? What is the point in making effort to specify a safe place, paying premium for delivery and express delivery. To then have to collect yourself... defeats the purpose of paying for express delivery right?
This experience has happened to me once and also my wife once, over the course of this month and December last year. Customer service reps offer zero help and no resolution or assurances. More of a "can't do anything about it" attitude. No effort or assurance to escalate as an official complaint, even when prompted and asked to.
Have no issue with any other courier. They always leave in the specified safe place or make a real effort to knock, ring and wait at door. The only time myself and my wife have ever had to collect, is with DPD.
On Monday I book a door to door service, on Tuesday the driver Ranbeer cancel the collection half an hour prior to the time frame Your collection number: 1992 098 233 2.
I rebook for Wednesday, on that day the driver Ranbeer again didn't collect the parcel Your collection number: 1992 101 382 4, when is totally visible on a safe place, I have pictures of that. I contact with the customer service and they are totally unhelpful, even they are very difficult to understand, they just said Rebook the collection, I did yesterday and I want that someone collect my parcel

Yesterday however ie 11th July, I received an email FIVE mins before the expected delivery stating: "Your driver won't be able to come back today as they cover a wide area on a tight schedule, but we'll be back with your parcel TOMORROW". My response is that if it's logistically not possible to deliver, don't make false promises & then send an email at the 11th hour to say a delivery won't be made when I have WAITED for my package. I also tried contacting their Customer Service using various methods ie calling them (initially 17th in queue, then they disconnected the call as they'd closed) & via WhatsApp, as chat is bot-operated, was unable to make any headway.
