Ordered doors to be delivered on a Saturday never arrived contacted them told them had to be delivered before the Wednesday as had joiner booked assured would be delivered Tuesday took day off work never turned up had to cancel order just wait and see if get refund total scammers.

Ordered doors 4th November to be delivered on 28th. Cost over a £1000. Did not deliver on 28th, contacted them spending over 2 hours on the telephone before calls were answered. New delivery date of December 8th, did not arrive. Finally received them before Christmas. My joiner was hanging one of them and found that the pre finished door had filler in the grove. Out of the 5 doors only two were just passable, the other 3 were poorly finished had chatter marks in the groves and as we speak I am waiting for XDP to collect them, should I let them take them? After reading the awful reviews I may need to cut my loses and put up with the inferior doors rather than none at all.
Customer services are full pf promises which do not materialise.
I have emailed the CEO and have had no response and after reading the reviews it is no wonder I have not had a reply.

Ordered doors chose delivery date not received, phoned told we would get them day after, didnt turn up, my daughter rang in hold 15 mins, she asked to speak to a amanager the guy refused saying he would sort it out! I then rang fuming on hold 15 mins to be told doors had disappeared in transit they would re order i asked to be put through to a manager to be told there were no managers available! Absolutely disgusting! Both phone calls 2 different lies told, i said when they eventually get delivered it will have to be after 5pm! Oooo cant a neighbour take them i said no they are disabled and its not my fault you cant deliver on selected day after waiting in and you deliver from 7-7 so! If no doors by friday will be getting refund and reporting these crooks wish i had tead reviews before BE WARNED DONT USE THIS COMPANY

Delivery didn't turn up
Called to change address for following day
Didn't turn up following day to be told that they were signed for at my address the day before (even though they weren't) funnily enough couldn't tell me who signed for them as the drivers scanner was broke.
No phone call back from manager as requested.
Called delivery company myself who told me they weren't even on transit and still in depot. Had to arrange collection from there myself.

Useless.

I ordered 4 doors and 3 out of the 4 were damaged. When trying to ring them and being on hold for over 30 minutes their website encourages you to fill in a form on there for returns or damages. 2 days later I receive an email saying thank you for your patience but it could take up to 5 working days to receive a response. Now I am on hold again currently at 36 minutes as I need replacement doors before Saturday to be fitted. I paid for next day delivery and now 5 days later I am stuck with damaged doors. CUSTOMER SERVICES SHOCKING!

We ordered 10 doors on the Sunday 6th November, it said next day delivery, but we are both at work, so we opted for delivery on the following Saturday 11th November. Doors never turned up, no email, account showed not dispatched. We emailed them on when we can take delivery, they said 15th November, but again we are at work, we asked for the 19th November, but they said no. We have cancelled the order. Complete waste of time.

Stay away from this company if you don't want to waste time and money!
I have paid £30 extra for Saturday delivery so that I can fix the door just in time for my new tenants. However the door was delivered 4 days later!
I have e-mail them but no reply. So I decided to call them but was put on hold for 25 mins – twice!
BAD COMPANY – WILL NEVER TRADE WITH THEM AGAIN!

From confirming the delivery date the door was despatched, out of stock, on it's way to the depot, incomplete? Despatched from the supplier and eventually 12 days later not available. Customer help line was rung twice 1st time held the line for 26mins of a 28min call and the 2nd time held the line for 16mins before giving up. If there was a minus rating I would certainly award one

It is unbelievable that a company can be so useless at delivering a door in brief, wrong door then they use useless delivery company DX must all be the same family members! Delivery of damaged door and wont pick up the first door. Second door goes back. I cancel the order third door turn up ha ha they take that back but still wont pick up the first door.
Then DX turn up with a fourth door so I tell him to leave it on the van I will inspect but lied I walked out put the first door on his van took a picture of his number plate went back to the house and shut my door. This is now 4 weeks later and hours on the phone with DX and doors world I eventually get a credit 7 weeks later and an email asking was my goods received in good order and was I happy ha ha
I would rather slide down a splintered bannister rail useing my testicals as brakes rather than ever do business again with doors world and their DX delivery company PS DW are owned by Dunelm
If you love a bit of stress in your life then use them!

Agreed Delivery Dates

This company is dreadful.
The order is taken quickly and efficiently with a delivery date readily agreed.
The delivery date was not met, no communication at all from Doors World was received on the day of delivery or thereafter. I eventually contacted them by phone and was given a feeble apology about the courier service being over subscribed.
THERE ARE MANY DOOR SUPPLIERS ON THE WEB - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I ordered 2 internal doors on line from doors world whom apparently are world stores, the money was taken and the doors were delivered, There is a large crack to the top of one of the doors making it unusable, I immediately phoned the delivery company who's van was still outside my property they advised to contact the company WORLD STORES, I have tried to contact them several times via the phone, A message states, your call is important to us, keep holding and your call will be answered, I have held for over 30 mins on 5 separate occasions at various times of the day, no one ever answers, I have e mailed them and sent photos electronically of the damage to no avail, I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

I ordered two doors on Wednesday 3rd September 2014 to be delivered on Friday 5/9/14.
After great chase and spending time on telephone as well email. Paying some one to receive deliver for four days. Changed fitting time with joiner nearly every day. I manage to receive them yesterday. Both doors not in good condition. But one was more damaged. After playing pass the book game with courier and suppliers the door world they said they will deliver on Friday 12th September 2014. I would give this company and xdp zero rating for there services and efforts. Entirely useless group.

Purchased doors

I purchased five doors from this company, one was damaged and three the wrong size even though it was the correct size on the ticket but when measured, door length was wrong, I contacted customer service and TBH they have been very good, responding to emails promptly however when it came to organising a pick up date for my doors I found this very difficult, 48 emails later and 4 weeks later I finally have been refunded, the doors have still to be collected but due to my sheer determination I have my refund, I can't fault the customer service team and the doors themselves seem to be fine just the wrong size, unfortunately I won't be using this company again due to the fact that it has taken so long to resolve this issue and get a refund.
