Drove for them had good ratings but frustrating trying to talk to customer support as they literally don't understand English and a problems may take up to an hour to resolve because of their limited understanding. I reported a life or death situation which they sent us to and the answer was did you complete the delivery and the next day BOOM I was deactivated. We literally were almost killed. This company needs to be looked at or shut down

If you've received refunds before, they won't refund you again. I guess they think you are lying and trying to receive perks, but really they should look into what is going on with dashers and stores on their platform. Why is the customer punished for your repeated errors? I agree with what the other review said about them essentially stealing your money. Support is completely unhelpful and tries to blow you off or just talks in circles. I spend tons of money with doordash, but will likely switch to another service based on several bad experiences. I don't recommend anyone use this as the errors are too common and you won't receive your money back.

I used to like door dash until recently. I'd order food and the dasher picks up my food and drives the opposite way. You can see the map on the app as they drive away. This has happened three times. I've had to contact customer service and it's takes 5-7 business days for your money back

Door dash needs to reprimand their "drivers" who seem to work just get free food

The worst

This is the absolute worst food delivery service there is out there half the time their delivery drivers leave your food at some other address and then customer service doesn't want to give you any customer service. They are a complete joke and an absolute waste of any money.

Ordered 3 full meals, sides and drinks. Delivery was missing All three entrees and one side. Essentially I paid $17 to have $11 of drinks and sides delivered and two of the drinks were wrong. Doordash gladly refunded the missing items, but would not refund the errors or delivery charge. We had to wait over 90 minutes just to end up spending money on a second delivery. I don't know why I keep trying this service. They have radically messed up orders 3 of the 5 times I have used them. Even if the drivers are good, the management will do nothing to fix the errors. Avoid at all cost!

I do not even want to give them a star. Absolutely the most WORTHLESS company ever. The customer service is a joke. Second time in a row, no plasticware... so hot food and no way to eat it. Called their useless customer service number. They told my friend that they were sorry and would credit her card back 10.00 (for 40+) dollars worth of food. They told us to contact the restaurant, which the restaurant told us to call them. And no refund. What a suprise to see all these other reviews about what a scam these people are. To anyone else... save your money and go through a different delivery service... hey #doordash

Worst experience ever
December 19, 2020

This is the second time that I have ordered and gotten a text saying my food has been delivered and lo and behold its not there. When you contact them via help you are communicating initially with what appears to be a bot. There is zero explanation. After an hour of furious and hangry efforts I get "credits". I told them I don't want credits bc I will never use their terrible overpriced service again. I asked to be connected to a supervisor when I did get a live "helper" who agreed to convert my credit to money return. I was told the supervisor was reached but she said she was not available. Terrible unprofessional interactions

Bad and nasty service
February 28, 2022

Bad customer service. First day when I ordered and I did not get the order customer service I spoke, she told no will charge on my account. But still they took money and no refund. Now 15 days pass each time I call they don't know what to do and wast 1 hour each time. There company should be close down. Bad very bad. Only peolple can deal with them who has free time to waste and keep waiting for them to answer or resolve issues

If things ever get so bad as to leave you without food in your home, be a DoorDasher. They for some reason found it so easy to steal food from their customers and get paid doing it! Kevin is full tonight while I went hungry!

Horrible service
November 11, 2021

I was told I would be getting a refund from Cheesecake factory for messing up my order. I paid 21.34 for a chicken finger dish and only received 3 chicken fingers, my account shows that they issued a refund but really did not. I called and spoke with some foreign person who sent me an email saying Doordash policy so I would not get my money back. Do not ever use them I am cancelling my acct and telling everyone I know to never use them again, go to grub hub they are honest door dash are thieves.

I am so sick of every single order placed through doordash being wrong in some way. Between the items I've purchased being replaced with random items, missing things like straws and poor packaging and handling, I am DONE with this crappy service. Then they have the audacity to tell me that they are not going to provide the refund for the missing items because of my account history. So because I demand that my items be correct that I purchase I'm going to be penalized. Why don't you instead invest more money in time as the employees and ensure that our orders are correct the first time and that are handled with care the first time.

Questionable policies

Doordash does not give credit card refunds when problems arise with their deliveries.They only offer Doordash credits.If the wrong item is delivered they will not give out any type of credit whatsoever.Questionable business policies-in general.Consumers should be very careful when dealing with this business..

Our food sat in their car for 55 mins after the driver picked up our delivery. Reason was driver decided to wait on another delivery. App time was 45 mins when placed. Delivery time was over 2 hours for room temperature food. Good luck. They will be out of business with that kind of service

Waited an hour to have my first order cancelled by my driver. I was allowed to order from a Wendy's that was so backed up, that the driver waited 45 minutes to be turned away. Mind you I was debited immediately. I now have to wait 5ish days for a refund. Times are tight and I decided to give the service a try. I've now waited so long on my order that everyone else is closed.

I work two jobs and do online school, I forgot to get groceries on the way home tonight. Now I will go to bed without food because the restaurant had issues, the service won't give me a quick refund, and the driver was definitely not helpful. Why should I trust this company in the future? Why would I want to order from you if I could drive there and definitely make sure I get food?

Overcharged

I was overcharged for the purchase. I ordered from panda express worth less than $10.Doordash automatically added $4.50 tips.I talked to the agent, at first they refund $2.0 dash credit. I chat with them again. This time the agent told me I will receive $4.50 back to my original payment after 3-5 days. I waited a week.I did not see the refund on my card. I chat with them again, instead of credit card redund,the agent had given door dash credit again. I insisted on getting credit card refund instead of door dash credit but the agent told me its too late now and she cannot do anything. Then she just closed the chat

WORST DELIVERY SERVICE!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The delivery person only picks up half the order, the Doordash people call stating it is the merchants fault and I will need to talk it up with them. I call the merchant and they said we told him to wait a second for the other part of the order, but he left. The driver then brings me back the half order and insists it isn't his problem and I need to call the merchant again. After paying for the ridiculous delivery fee and tipping someone who didn't even do their job, I ended up having to leave work to go get the food myself. I will never be using doordash again. It isn't worth the money, the headache or the lack of convenience.

Never Again!

I tried Doordash for the 1st time today because I've been hesitant to spend money to have someone deliver fast food. But I thought I'd try it. Not only did my order NEVER arrive, their "chat" person stated their "dasher" indicated they delivered it and refused a refund for me, basically calling me a liar! I was home the entire time and even checked my stoop to see if they just left it. They did not! And when I told the "chat" person their "dasher" is lying, I was cut off on the chat and they ended it by stating all future communications would be in emails! I should have read all the reviews before trying Doordash. Never again! And I will tell everyone I know to never use them. How does a company survive with such poor service in every regard?

This place should be shut down every single online agent in the chat was 100% rude and did nothing but close the chat within seconds or in the middle of writing. If you call immediate hang up. Me and my husband are out $37 and order cancelled within seconds. This is the absolute worst service available. 100% regret ever considering this service to place ANYTHING. I expected the customer service to at least be reliable but instead have nothing but rude customer service agents who do not care about their customers what so ever or the company. This company disgusts me and with so many negative reviews i am amazed that its even still open. This company is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. I will See you guys in court if i dont recieve my refund! I would 100% NOT recommend unless you want to lose your money

Door dasher stole food
September 8, 2020

Do NOT use this atrocious scam. My kids were waiting for their food. The door dasher picked up the food and drove it in the opposite direction even though we live 2 minutes from the place! When I called him, he said he was lost and gave our food away and needed 30 minutes. Tried to return eaten food and Door Dash didn't want to refund us. Worst day ever.
