Bought a Christmas present at end of Oct. Donner hush I guitar for my daughter's Christmas. Less than a few hours after the box is opened on Christmas Day, the tuning knobs make the strings buzz and string snaps. Daughter has 3 other guitars so she knows what she's doing. Contacted Donner customer service who took wks to answer them offered £50 for new set of strings but nothing to resolve buzzing so declined this offer and said this is not suitable resolution. Been ignored since then. Awful company. Regardless of which name they choose to call themselves. Please folk, do not waste your money. I paid £239 for this guitar and every single penny was a waste of money. It's Jan 18th 2024 and this guitar was opened December 25th 2023 and the company have stopped responding both via email and instagram. Appalling products and customer service. Never again. Will leave bad reviews on every site i can re this company. They should not be in business at all UPDATER: Since leaving review this morning, I've been told I will receive a full refund. We'll see. FURTHER UPDATE: Full refund received.
Absolutely terrible customer service and worse product! Do not trust these folks. I have 17 emails and a tracking / order number. Only to find out product never shipped and tracking number is created to shut me up! They are Shady!

My review is of Donnerguitar.com. I ordered an item that cost in excess of $40. The funds were quickly subtracted from my account, the item was never received. "Customer service" link goes to " page not found". They respond to e-mails, only to state the the package was indeed delivered, and that they have "lost money on the shipping costs which they paid"….? They offer a 10% refund. Don't use this website, or company.
I deeply regret buying from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered a keyboard and received an EXTREMELY damaged product. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't sorted out the return because they are completely unresponsive to their email (the only thing that they provide for returns) and when they do reply its a very short vague answer. Right now I can't even get them to respond about whether I am the one paying for the return shipping (that is looking likely). It is a huge heavy box, so it will be pricey.
Company sent the wrong item, a maple body guitar. I ordered a black guitar, as was clearly stated in the description of the product. I was told I ordered the wrong SKU, even though the description said black. They keep saying its my fault for not checking the SKU, even though, again, the product description clearly says black. They want me to pay return shipping even though the error is clearly on their end. Very poor customer service as this has been ongoing for over a week now.

I bought an electric drumset from Donner a few months ago. It arrived broken, it did not work how it was intended to work at all. One cymbal was constantly triggered and half of the drums/ cymbals didn't work at all. The snare drum works... But that's about it. I contacted them about it and they gave me a list of solutions that didn't work... I asked to return it but they wanted proof of what was broken. I sent them several videos explaining what was wrong and what I had done to fix it. They never responded to me. I sent them another email explaining I wanted my money back and they sent me a list of solutions- they same list they had sent earlier... that didn't work. Thanks for the most expensive piece of garbage I've ever owned Donner deal, I dont understand how you're in business with such terrible customer service and products that don't even work.

I recevied a damaged, substandard electric guitar, that looked used. Donner offered me £6.35p in compensation! This was promptly rejected and I requested a return and full refund. They repeatedly failed to provide the returns information which had to be generated by them and I had to contact PayPal for a resolution. PayPal agreed to a full refund but I was expected to pay the return costs! Donner then provided a shipping address IN CHINA! Yes, that's right, CHINA! Even though the item was sent to me from their UK warehouse, they are insisting that the guitar is shipped to CHINA at a cost of £95, in order for me to get my refund. This is obviously a ploy to deter me from returning the item and getting the refund that I am entitled to. Nowhere on their website does it state that returned items must be shipped to CHINA at the buyer's expense! Obviously, if it had, I wouldn't have purchased a single thing. It has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience, we just wanted to buy our son an electric guitar...
Donner finally contacted me on May 5th (email). They were very apologetic for the error in my shipment. They did transact a refund for the difference between the two guitars (which I received 11 days later).
Overall, my son is happy with the guitar we have, and it is of nice quality. This company does need to get its customer service act together if they want to have a fighting chance in the North American market. They need to respond far more quickly and have a fast plan in place to correct mistakes like my mis-shipment. It will take Donner a long time to build trust in the Americas if they keep conducting business like this. No qualms about the product itself, just the level of service.
The received my order and promptly processed it - I was impressed. They actually shipped it to me rather quickly. It was very well packaged and arrived in good condition... problem, it is NOT THE GUITAR I ORDERED. It is a cheaper guitar. I am very disapppointed. They haven't responded to my emails or my facebook messenger. I just want a refund for the difference because I don't have faith in trying to do an exchange with this company. I was optimistic, but no longer. The reviews of customer service lacking are all completely accurate. Go with a major brand.
Bought a piano on 7th March
Bought a piano on 7th March. Didn't receive and so tried to get money back. Impossible task! Told we had to wait 20 business days for our money. 10th April told we had refund but didn't. Emailed them and they asked for me to wait 5 more business days (laughable). I told them NO! And reported them to Barclaycard today (11th April). Meanwhile they emailed me back saying: Transcript below-

Ordered wrong size violin and wanted to return it. Dinner kept asking me for information I was never sent. I received a PayPal receipt and a ups tracking number, none of which are accepted as a proof of purchase!
Ordered Digital Piano that was listed as 'IN STOCK'. Later told item is out of stock and I must wait a month for a refund. Opened a dispute with Pay Pal.
Item of poor quality and didn't appear new. Returned it promptly yet Donner just started ignoring my emails once received- luckily had purchased through PayPal so was able to obtain my refund by opening a case. AVOID and purchase from a well known music brand.
This company stole my money
They promised me MK0062 microphone and never delivered. Now 4 months of going back and forth they do not respond. They are crooks and thieves for stealing my money. Avoid these people at any cost. Buy American from now on from and American based companies!
7-15 business days for a refund? For something you should of not of sold me, since you did not have stock at the time and never did. Still do not have any stock. So I wait over a month to get nothing and then you are going to drag out the refund over two weeks? Thought you we're a good company but this is bull$#*!. Bought a set of speakers which failed after 1 day. Donner totally ignoring requests to return parts and issue refund.
