Donner finally contacted me on May 5th (email). They were very apologetic for the error in my shipment. They did transact a refund for the difference between the two guitars (which I received 11 days later).
Overall, my son is happy with the guitar we have, and it is of nice quality. This company does need to get its customer service act together if they want to have a fighting chance in the North American market. They need to respond far more quickly and have a fast plan in place to correct mistakes like my mis-shipment. It will take Donner a long time to build trust in the Americas if they keep conducting business like this. No qualms about the product itself, just the level of service.
