Just waited 20 minutes to talk to someone I couldn't understand. This is a company that just wants money, they care nothing about their customers. I have nothing good to say about them. I wonder if their negotiations will be over after the Super Bowl?

I am a senior and admit that technology is difficult for me. I had Dish seasonally for 3 years then called with a problem connecting to the dish. I wasn't able to follow the tech person who told me I would then have to have a service call for $85. I decided to end my contract and sent the Hopper back. I was told they never received it and I would owe an additional $200. I had to pay this because I couldn't prove I sent it back and of course they denied they received it. I don't suggest this service.

When used to be a few dollars to rent a movie. Now if you try to rent a movie with dish network they will charge you more than it costs to go out and buy the dvd. Is there charging more For a movie rental then it is to buy the movie from the store. I guess they're trying to Chase away all of their customers So we will just end up streaming And get rid of dish network completely. Y pay $20 or $25 to rent a movie. They are charging prices like you're going to the movie theater.

I have been hung up 4times just today after 30 minutes hold time. Once you finally get someone, they say they are checking on a problem on there end. Then after 50 minutes you get hung up on. Worst ever because they owe you money # Stupid

The Service sucks

I just got the service in November, and to say the least I'm have been having issues, major issues. They have replaced the boxes 3 times and now it's getting worse. So, now I have to go out and purchase a HDMI cable to see if that would work. Go figure! All I want is to watch TV without the box going out or turning off by itself. For a moment I thought there was a ghost in the house doing it.
I really would like a box that works properly when it on and I can turn it off.

Oh my gosh!
I have been on the phone for an hour, have called at least 10 numbers and cannot get a living person to help. We have a protection agreement and need to have someone come out to look at the problem
HA! I have found no one who can even direct me to help. It is no wonder that dish is losing customers.

Been with dish for years- only because direct is just as bad.dish now gives you junk equipment i believe is intentionally designed to screw up your indoor antenna used for local channels (because dish cant provide them).the old equipment worked just fine with the antenna now there is a useless "jumper" you have to use that makes your channel freeze every time a truck drives by.if you have another option- stay away from dish.

I had been a loyal customer for 23 years. They kept jacking up the prices while taking good channels away. They didn't offer any discounts for loyal customers but rather to new subscribers only. I was paying $125 a month for total crap. I finally switched over to YouTube TV which is a LOT cheaper and has all of the channels I want, counting the ones Dish took away. When I called to cancel, the customer service rep was doing everything possible to try and get me to stay, even offering me the same monthly cost as YouTube TV, however that was only for a limited time. It took almost 30 minutes of being on the phone before I finally was able to get them to cancel. They charged me $20 to have the equipment returned and they wanted things returned that are on the actual dish, which is high up on my roof, which was installed by one of their installers. In the fine print it states you don't need to return items on the actual dish yet they tried to hide that by putting it in fine print. So glad I found that out before climbing up on a ladder! Satellite dishes are quickly becoming a thing of the past with all of the many different, cheaper streaming options out there. I will not be returning back to Dish Network or any satellite provider.

Dish Lies to You.

I have been a dish customer for sometime and back in November of 2022 I called to cancel service and was told that they would lower my rate for 12 months if I stayed they lied because the very next month they raised it 5 dollars and then the next month they were unable to maintain the channels that I had. And now they are refusing to do anything about it. BAD for Business and Bad for you. DO NOT TRUST dish.

The reason dish has one sign up for 2/3 years is because if it was just 1 yr. The customer would not be back for a second.

Shows are interrupted by other shows. Shows are interrupted with dish advertising.

I hate dish

I have had dish for several years. Every football season they go into negotiations with a network and take them offline from their programing. I pay for these channels. Of course, I can order and pay for additional channels to see a game.
Today, I cannot watch the Buffalo - Miami playoff game because it is on cbs.
Do not sign up for dish.

Dish sucks

Once again when it's NFL playoff time dish supposedly goes into negotiations with fox. Lying in order to jack their price up. They've been pulling this crap for years and expect us to pay for what they're not providing. Well I called and let them know that I will be subtracting $5.00 from my bill until I get the channel back.

We've had Dish service for close to 3-yrs now, approximately 3-4 months ago our bill increased by $70-$80 a month so we started looking for a cheaper service. We located an alternate service that was significantly cheaper than Dish.

I contacted Dish on 01/13 to cancel service and was told it would cost $220 due to an early termination fee. I questioned the early cancellation fee since we've had Dish for close to 3-years, we only signed a 24-month contract? The Senior Resolution Rep (Maria) stated that when we moved to North Carolina from Florida in November '21 that I requested an extra Joey Box for our Den, the other Dish equipment was brought with us from Florida. I did request an additional Joey box for the Den and Maria stated when doing so it automatically renewed our 24-month contract. I never agreed to a 24-month contract extension, I was never informed of an extension and would have NEVER agreed to an extension for just adding another receiver? Contract extensions generally occur when the customer is getting a special rate or something similar and NOT because the customer is paying more a month for an extra receiver.

I found it EXTREMELY suspicious that on (2) occasions Maria stated the reason our monthly bill went up was because our contract ended cancelling our "special rate." I stopped Maria twice and questioned why the cancellation fee if our contracted ended as she mentioned TWICE. Maria quickly corrected herself and said the contract was renewed when we requested an extra box, if we use the renewed scenario, we should still be receiving our special contract rate, correct? I got no response...

We NEVER agreed to a contract extension and Maria stated TWICE our monthly bill went up because our contract ended? There are WAY too many customer complaints on BBB that revolve around a shady business practice severely lacking in ANY sort of transparency! There are too many alternatives to be treating customers in this manner.

I signed up for Dish on demand with Xfinity as my internet. I was promised a $300 gift card ($100 from Xfinity and $200 from Dish), that was in July. I never received a thing. I call and was told by one rep I'd get it after 90 days with on time payments. They take autopayments, so I have never missed, but I still have not received the gift cards. What a rip off and big liars. If I wasn't stuck in a contract, I would drop them right now!

We've had Dish Network for about two and a half years the price goes up I negotiate it goes down then it goes back up it's supposed to come on your phone it should be like Dish anywhere they say but the phone part of it sucks overall I think it's just crap for the amount of money that they charge at the end of this next contract I'm guaranteed I'm going to cancel it and I'm just going to do online streaming this is I've dealt with them for so many years and it's just to the point where it's just not worth it don't do it

Horrible service!

Worst service ever! Didn't even work for one hour from the day it was installed never ever worked serviceman phone calls chatting never worked ever do not get dish horrible service horrible service! Now they want to bill me $480 for no service this is just ridiculous do not get dish!
