I thought it was going to cost £20 to unlock the phone but then I had a email to say I needed to pay an extra £30 which wasn't clearly stated. It also said it would take up to 72 hours, but instead it took nearly 3 weeks! They did manage to unlock the phone it's just a shame I had all these problems which should be clearly stated on the website.
Definitely would recommend this place. Did take a little longer than expected but managed to unlock my phone, which meant I didn't have to sell it.
Thanks
Unlock took long than expected but overall the unlock was easy and trouble free done everything online and the unlock was sent over wi-fi so hassle free. Would recommend and use this company again.
I am glad my phone is now unlocked but not happy it took nearly two weeks to do but I would use the service again x
Very easy to use web site, I was kept informed which I really appreciated. It was out of their control but in my case it took around 3 weeks of the official unlock.
Unfortunately my experience is that I had to wait three weeks after paying for the service before I was unlocked. The company inferred that Vodaphone was the problem.
Nevertheless £50.00 is a high cost.
On reflection I think it would have been better and cheaper to go to Vodaphone directly.
I have placed an order to unlock my iphone 5 on the 28/09 and to this date i am being given reasons to why it still hasn't been done yet!
Please do your selves a favour and go somwehere else.
This is a scam they will take your money and never give you anything until you forget about.
All of thier reviews on the website are fake.
Hi,
I use unlock icloud service from this site, trust because web interface is professional. But true is lie from them:
- They request preorder with 18 £. I think this is price of unlock and I charge with my CC.
- After several days, they continue request a unlock service with 30 £ with 1-5 working days, if don't accept, loose 18 £ preorder, If unlock fail, full money is back to me.
- After I continue charge 30 £ for unlock service. They say: 5-10 working days to unlock (what the $#*!, before they message: 1-5 days)
- After continue to wait 2 week, they continue message: Unlock fail because my phone is blacklist apple: lost phone (what the $#*! again, this is my phone and I forget password icloud?). Message:
11 Nov 2015 11:00:33 - We attempted to remove your iCloud locked device from the previous owner's account but were unable to do so as the iDevice (35xxxxxxx262) is unfortunately marked by Apple as Lost/Stolen.
As stated on the website before purchase, it is not possible to remove the Activation Lock on iDevices which are in Apple's lost/stolen database using our Clean service. There is a more expensive Premium solution which is currently offline which we will email you about as soon as it returns.
Your payment for the clean service has been refunded in Trade Credits (£49.99 - the total amount, including pre-order) which you can avail on a different device or against the Premium service when it becomes available.
As we have already prepared your unlock and incurred the unlocking charge, we cannot automatically issue a card refund for handsets which are rejected in such circumstances.
There are numerous services such as http://cleancheck.me(FREE) which can be used to identify Lost/Stolen handsets.
Scam? I check website http://cleancheck.me and this is their $#*! website and show IMEI they receive and scam and after warn blacklist. Copyright from US but true is UK.
All is scam totally, no money back. I lost 48 £ from https://www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk/
Their scam website:
http://cleancheck.me
https://www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk/
Please stay away from them.
Please show me how to sue them?
I have paid three payments total 100 pounds and still waiting to be unlocked. I am responding to my emails. Since the last premium payment waiting more than a month. I have my doubts.
I had my iPhone 6s, which is tied with T-Mobile, unlocked via OfficialiPhoneUnlock.co.uk. I learned about this site from a blog and thought that GBP 20 is ok to risk to get my phone unlocked. I ordered and after a quick couple of days, got an email stating that my unlock is ready and will be made available to me a week after I pay GBP 75. I wasn't aware of the GBP 75 fine print so I was hesitant to pay the balance and started suspecting it was a scam. After reading mixed reviews about the site, I took the risk of paying the amount and after 6 days, I got an email notification telling me that they are still working on it. After another 2 days, I got an email instructing me to insert any sim card because my phone has already been unlocked. So I did and it worked!
I would have given a rating of 5 stars if OfficialiPhoneUnlock.co.uk has bluntly stated from the beginning that the GBP 20 is just for a pre-order (a sneaky way for the company to earn our nonrefundable 20) and it should emphasize that there is still a balance that we are expected to pay in order to complete the process. This is to avoid their clients for having the feeling of being tricked. Other than this, I am happy with how easy it was to get my phone unlocked remotely.
We have 2 Unlocks still processing. Both have taken a lot longer than quoted and we are still waiting.
First you ask 20 and customers doesn't know that you ask 70 more later it should say clearly in the beginning how much it cost the whole process
Great service & reliable so happy to with the unlock!
Great service and quick and reliable. Phone was unlocked with no issues and had no issues.
I was pulled in by the £19.99 unlock your phone within 72 hours. After speaking to vodofone who said £40 and taking 2 weeks to unlock.
After paying the initial £19.99 I kept checking the status of my unlock, for them to then say, congratulations, now pay a further £29.99 to unlock your phone. If you didn't read the smallprint, that's tough, I wouldn't be getting my £19.99 back.
I felt like I had been conned and was hesistant to give anymore money. But I did and it took almost two weeks for my phone to be unlocked. I emailed them to say I was unhappy with this service. The customer service email contact says for new customers, existing customers don't bother asking what's going on with your unlock. They explained they were waiting for vodofone to unlock. So basically I just paid £50 for them to ring up vodofone for me with my IMEI number.
I guess if your phone comes from an unknown source poss worth going through them, but I had a brand new iphone with a receipt of purchase. Could have paid 40 and rung vodofone myself.
Been offered £5 back into my account for an honest review. I shall be writing back to let customers know if I receive this.
So my opinion, it u have a poss dodgy handset then go for it. If you got a phone just give ur network up direct.
Website should clearly state the full price at the Start!.
I feel cheated by you taking 10 days to unlock my phone. You advertise 24-72 hours in the full knowledge that it takes much longer for the provider to unlock in this time frame. For what you charged I expected the service to be quicker than going direct to the provider.
Very poor.
Long wait time, paid twice as unlocked the same Imei number already unlocked and still not received my money back or the decency of a response so pretty annoyed!
Plz plz plz,, do not believe this site. 100% fake,,, they charged me twice to unlock icloud $30 and $46 but it's been a month. They haven't unlocked yet...
I'm not original owner of my iPhone 6 so Vodafone don't make it easy if at all possible to unlock it from their network. But this site found with good feedback so gave it a go. Yes the initial £19.99 I thought a bargain but read the full detail and feedback as I did and realised that it would be more in my case another £39.99. So not the cheapest unlock and after 6 working days and nice updates from the team I got my unlock. I tunes message your phone is unlocked so yes it's as they state and within time scales ( a bit longer in my case as Vodafone servers oversubscribed with 6s unlocks)
Would recommend these guys very good
